The behemoth that was Kyle just stood there, looking around nervously.
Although from the outside, he looked like a monster surveilling its surroundings for prey.
The man just looked at Kyle from his hiding spot.
His goal was achieved.
His target was now in the open.
And yet, why did it not feel like he had accomplished his goal?
The man beca nervous.
He knew that Kyle had an Aristocrat's Body.
He knew that Kyle was an Initial Expert.
He had no idea where the golems had gone, but they were no longer there.
Naturally, the man hadn't co here on his own.
They were five against one, and all of his compatriots were as powerful or more powerful than he was.
Their target should be helpless in front of them.
Yet, the man didn't feel like that was the case.
He wasn't sure how to proceed.
"Hey," Kyle said, looking at the spot filled with Darkness Ether. "Can you, like, actually attack at so point? This is getting really awkward."
The man didn't move as he weighed his options.
Seconds passed.
"Fine," Kyle said with an annoyed voice.
The man's eyes widened as Kyle suddenly appeared right in front of him.
He hadn't even been able to react to Kyle's speed!
The man lifted a humongous shield.
Kyle struck.
CRACK!
The shield broke into pieces, and Kyle's hamr wasn't even slowed significantly.
The man saw his life flash before his eyes as the pick of the hamr closed in on his chest.
But then, an amulet the guy wore started to shine in a yellow light.
Suddenly, he was surrounded by a shield of Skysand.
Kyle's hamr hit the new shield.
CRRRRR!
The sound of sand grinding against tal reverberated in the crater in front of Kyle's ho.
The Skysand lessened and vanished.
Yet, Kyle's attack had been completely stopped.
CRACK!
The next mont, the amulet broke into pieces.
Kyle blinked in surprise.
He hadn't seen that before.
The man realized that he was still alive and jumped-
BANG!
An explosion of fire ca out of the back of Kyle's hamr.
The hamr sped up again and buried itself in the man's abdon.
Sadly, since the man had just started to jump, the hamr missed the man's Center.
CRKSH!
At that mont, the man used a sword to cut his entire body below the chest off.
Organs splattered everywhere as the man was flung away.
As the man flew away, he saw his lower body catching fire.
He was just a Grandmaster, and he knew that Kyle had an Aristocrat's Body. While such an injury to the gut wasn't fatal, the Ether Kyle would inject into his body would kill him.
'Huh, he's still alive,' Kyle thought as he looked at the one-third man flying against the wall of the crater.
That was when everything beca chaotic.
Over ten stone snakes ca out of the walls of the crater.
All of them were Initial Master Golems.
Two Earth Elentals in the Mid Third Realm appeared below Kyle.
Two Mid Monster birds flew from the sky.
Five arrows, coated in different kinds of Ether, flew at Kyle.
The Earth Elentals combined their powers to create earthen spears below Kyle.
The birds launched a combined attack of wind and fire, creating a cutting storm of incredible heat.
All the golems launched spears of concentrated tal.
Kyle blinked in surprise.
The attacks hit.
BOOOOOOM!
A storm of wind, fire, tal, lightning, and earth exploded in front of the Inheritance Crypt, destroying the primary hall where Sulfur used to stay.
The five attackers looked around carefully, making sure that Kyle didn't escape sohow.
Yet, they couldn't find any foreign Ether outside the explosion.
It seed like Kyle had been hit by the attacks.
Two seconds passed, and the explosion slowly vanished.
Their target was dead.
One of the birds flew towards the injured Grandmaster to take him away.
BANG!
But then, a small needle made of tal shot out of the explosion, hitting the Grandmaster in the chest.
Everyone watched the needle with shock.
A mont later, the Grandmaster died in a fiery explosion.
At that mont, the explosion parted, revealing Kyle.
He still stood in the sa spot, but his armor had broken in several different places.
Well, technically, he was hovering since the ground below him had vanished.
The minds of everyone stopped working as they saw Kyle uninjured.
How?!
The only one of them experienced with tals was the Master Artificer in their group, but they hadn't thought that Kyle's entire armor was made of Rank A Materials.
After all, how could he possibly move with such a thick set of armor made entirely of Rank A Materials?
They had expected that there would be a layer of Rank B or Rank C Materials beneath it.
The attacks would have definitely been enough to break through the armor and kill him.
Yet, his entire armor was made of Rank A Materials!
How insane was that?!
Together with his hamr, that would be two entire tal Elentals made of Rank A Materials!
Then, everyone saw as the broken fragnts of Kyle's armor flew back into the holes, and within less than a second, the armor was as good as new.
That was when they noticed Kyle looking at one of the birds.
It was a green hawk.
"I know you," Kyle said.
Kyle's gaze turned to the forest.
He felt the Ether of a distant white horse.
"Maester Lillian," Kyle said.
In the distance, Maester Lillian felt her heart stop.
"Didn't know you were that suicidal."
At that mont, almost all of Kyle's armor vanished, replaced by a thin set of armored pants with runes in them.
BANG!
Fire appeared all around Kyle as he activated his new form of Ignition.
BOOOOOM!
The surroundings exploded.
A humongous cloud of dust and debris appeared in the forest as a gigantic streak of broken earth appeared between Kyle and Maester Lillian's location.
The assassins couldn't comprehend what they were seeing.
What was this speed?!
This was almost as fast as Maester Lillian's hawk!
The hawk tried to keep up with Kyle, but while its top speed was faster than Kyle's, its acceleration was much slower.
Kyle appeared in front of Maester Lillian in an instant.
At that mont, he clearly saw the white steed she rode, and surprisingly, she wasn't alone.
An older man was on the horse as well.
The Master Artificer who controlled the Master Golems.
"You could've just asked ," Kyle said as he stopped in front of them.
At that mont, all the fire around Kyle vanished.
And smoke appeared.
