The good thing about Kyle's current setup was that he didn't have to change a lot of it for his next step of comprehension.
He just had to add a couple of components.
Kyle created a bunch of containers with water, a huge wheel with a handle, so additional parts, and a big tallic stick.
After he was done creating it, he looked at it with admiration.
Then, he grabbed the wheel and spun it rapidly.
"Behold! True power!" he shouted with a smile as he kept spinning the wheel.
The big stick only moved a couple of milliters.
Silence.
Kyle kept spinning the wheel for several seconds at unbelievable speeds.
'Shouldn't have put the piston's start position that high up,' Kyle thought as the montum of his dramatic proclamation vanished.
After around 30 seconds of spinning the wheel thousands of tis, it finally reached the indent.
At that point, Kyle's smile returned.
He kept spinning the wheel, and eventually, it beca a bit harder to spin.
The piston moved even slower than before, but Kyle could already sense how the big block of tal absorbed a bunch of Fire Ether.
'Heat via compression!' Kyle thought with a smirk.
After a couple more spins, Kyle heard the hastily constructed hydraulic press groan and decided to stop.
Kyle spun the wheel in the opposite direction until the piston left the indent.
When the piston lifted, the cave was filled with shining light.
'Bro,' he thought as he approached the indent.
He saw a flat disk in the indent that had a, frankly, ridiculous temperature.
As Kyle's hand approached the disk, it already started receiving minor burns before it even touched the disk.
'This thing is fucking HOT! Like, REALLY hot!'
'Also, this is just a normal piece of stone, right? Since the pressure is normal now and it's so fucking hot, shouldn't it turn into a gas? Why is it still solid?'
Kyle opened his mouth, and a bunch of Fire Ether ca out of the disk before entering his mouth.
The stone cooled down in almost an instant, and Kyle pulled it out of the indent with so difficulty.
As he looked at the disk, he realized sothing.
'This is stone. Why do I feel tal Ether in there?'
The next mont, Kyle took a bite of it, which wasn't easy but doable.
'Yep, Earth Ether and tal Ether.'
'Did I just make so of that tal-Earth Stone that's above the Yin-Wind?'
'I an, it kinda feels similar, but it's not entirely the sa. '
Kyle looked at the indent and realized that a bit of the tal had vanished, slightly deforming the indent.
'I just made a weird alloy with different kinds of Ether.'
'Wait a second!' he thought with widened eyes.
'Alloys! Steel! Heating! Extre conditions!'
'I gotta test this!'
Kyle quickly changed the material of the piston into a regular Rank A Material and added another regular Rank A Material below it.
Then, he fired up the wheel again by spinning it like crazy.
This ti, he didn't stop when the hydraulic press started to creak.
He just continued.
BOOOOM!
One of the containers holding the water exploded, turning the surroundings into rubble and throwing Kyle into the distance.
Kyle recovered quickly by shaking his head and ran over to the indent.
He morphed the tal out of the way and looked at what he had created.
A brightly shining glob of tal was unearthed that created burns all over Kyle's body as he stood before it.
A mont later, Kyle just opened his mouth to consu all the Fire Ether and looked at the small glob of tal he had created.
He lifted it and looked at it with wonder.
He tried to manipulate it…
But it didn't work!
He couldn't manipulate it!
This could only an one thing.
'I don't know this material!'
Kyle knew all Rank A Materials. So, even if soone created an alloy with Rank A Materials, he would be able to manipulate the alloy since he knew its components and could manipulate their Ether.
It was like the material in front of him was not made of the two tals he had used to make it.
'Brah, I was actually right,' Kyle thought.
Kyle rembered an old video he had seen.
'New shit just got made!'
'I thought that the tal-Earth Stone might be the Yin-tal, but it actually isn't. I an, it's not super strong, and the tal and Earth Ether were just kind of added instead of fused. tal-Earth Stone is more of an actual alloy.'
'But no, that's not the Yin-tal!'
'This is the Yin-tal!'
'If you put tal under insane conditions, it can change!'
'I already have a shitton of strength, and the hydraulic press is made of the most resistant materials I can create with the Full Law of tal! That machine will only break when it is under forces only a Transcendent can create.'
'If you put tal under so much force, it undergoes a physical change and becos sothing new.'
Kyle rolled the glob around in his hand.
'But what's the Yin-part? I an, all the other Yin-Elents have a part that's very different from their Yang-counterparts.'
Kyle rolled it around a bit more and started to frown.
'Why is it hurting ? It already cooled down.'
Then, he noticed that the glob was slowly sinking into his head, and the pain beca stronger.
Kyle dumped it to the side.
When it hit the ground…
It simply fell through.
It didn't even leave a hole.
It was just like it stopped existing as soon as it hit the ground.
'Eh, what?'
Kyle quickly charged after it.
Luckily, his acceleration was quite a bit faster than the acceleration of the planet's gravity, and he caught the drop.
As soon as he caught it, he felt it hurting him again.
He looked at his hand and noticed so cuts.
'That thing is liquid! Why is it cutting ?!' he thought.
He experinted with it a bit more, and after a while, he noticed that the glob was becoming smaller.
After a couple more seconds, it completely vanished, and Kyle's hand stopped hurting.
'Huh, so, that's the Yin-part.'
'It isn't really solid. It doesn't interact with stuff that's not on its level.'
'The tal block was made of Rank S Material, which allowed it to hold the glob. My body also has a lot of Ether.'
'But the ground doesn't have a lot of Ether.'
'And when it touches anything, it gives off all of its Ether and energy in ways other ethereal Elents do.'
'Fire vanishes when it is no longer hot.'
'In the sa way, this tal just injures everything it touches until it stops existing.'
'That's super fucking weird!'
