As the world warped around Kyle, he felt a feeling that could best be described as peaceful.
In the Tertiary, when he had been the Overseer, he had felt this feeling several tis.
It was the feeling of his Karmic Luck increasing substantially.
It always appeared when a new Transcendent had ascended.
But this ti, it was so much stronger.
Kyle closed his eyes as the world kept warping.
Usually, changing Dinsions took just a couple of seconds, but this ti, it took a lot longer.
'The world is looking at my True Sin Aura and where it ca from, probably,' Kyle thought.
While the world kept warping, Kyle suddenly got the strangest feeling.
It was like he had… landed on the ground.
It was so weird and alienating that Kyle took a bit to co to terms with it.
He looked at his hands for a while, almost like they had appeared for the first ti.
It was like Kyle had been in free fall his entire life, and he had finally landed.
It felt… safe.
Kyle took a deep breath, and he broke into a sweat.
It was like his body had finally taken a deep breath after being underwater for eons.
Safety!
There was no more danger!
'My Sin Flas!' Kyle thought in shock.
He knew that his Sin Flas would vanish, but when they finally did, it was still hard for him to believe.
'They're gone!'
Kyle expected the burning pain to return any second now, but it didn't.
It no longer hurt!
He was no longer in constant pain!
As the pain vanished, Kyle almost grew afraid of the burning pain, even though he had been subject to it for almost 300 years by now.
It had been present for the majority of his life.
He had learned to live with it, but now, it felt so dangerous.
It was kind of strange.
This change in feeling could be seen as strange but also understandable.
For example, many normal people didn't like spiders and felt a bit fearful in their presence, even if the spiders were not dangerous.
Yet, when the spider was actually on one's body, it often wasn't so bad, strangely enough.
For many people, looking at a spider from a distance was strangely scarier than having it in one's hands.
A mont later, Kyle felt like the world had beco clearer, even though it was still distorting around him.
It was like so kind of film had been lifted.
'The visions are gone!' Kyle thought.
He had learned to drown out the effects of the Fourth Curse of Karmic Luck, but the effects had still been there.
But now, the visions were gone. He saw the world for what it was.
At this mont, Kyle felt like he had finally surfaced from a dangerous and murky swamp.
Perceiving his surroundings had been difficult, and he had gotten so used to the feeling of danger.
Now, he was on dry ground.
He could see so far, and the ground wouldn't swallow him anymore.
With his new reference point, it beca difficult for Kyle to put himself back into his old situation.
He felt almost like he had been just trying to blindly move forward, not knowing where he was going, even though that definitely hadn't been the case.
'I survived! I actually managed to survive the Sin Flas!'
Kyle closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
'Honestly, I wasn't sure if I could survive the Sin Flas. Now that they are gone, they feel so much more dangerous than before. I feel like I've been close to dying all this ti.'
'But I know that's not the case. I would have survived another thousand years with them.'
Back when Kyle had beco the Overseer, the prospect of having to survive over a thousand years with the Sin Flas had seed impossible.
Now, it didn't seem as difficult anymore.
If he got into a similar situation again, he knew…
He would be able to get through it.
'This has been the most painful period in my life, and I got through it,' Kyle thought. 'Things are looking up now, and I'm going to do my best to keep it that way.'
Kyle thought about the mission he had received from the Cult of Final Fate.
'The Array of Stars saved from my life on Earth, and I've repaid them. I killed half a million people directly and much more indirectly for them. I've repaid my debt to them.'
Kyle sneered. 'But you wanted to keep locked in the Tertiary World forever under the threat of death. I'm not the biggest fan of that, you know?'
'anwhile, the Cult of Final Fate got out of this predicant, and compared to you, they actually gave lots of freedom.'
'I was free to join or not. I was free to choose my job. I even received significant help from them without having contributed anything so far.'
'The Cult has treated very well, and I will repay them!'
'But you didn't, Array of Sharts!'
Kyle smirked deviously. 'I will bring my title justice and beco a proper tapeworm in your ass!'
The next mont, the world around Kyle stabilized.
The fiery planet he was on was still just as fiery as before, and he still didn't see anyone else.
The feeling of peace vanished, which ant his Karmic Luck was no longer increasing.
Kyle focused on his Karmic Luck, and for just a mont, he felt like he could see a couple of colored lines.
His Karmic Luck had dropped and risen an unreasonable degree during his life, giving Kyle the unique opportunity to feel how Karmic Luck changed soone.
Because of that, his Karmic Sense was stronger than the majority of people who were even several Realms above him.
'I'm pretty sure I saw sothing just now,' he thought. 'According to the Karmic Book I've read, this should have been my Karmic Sense.'
'As long as I keep focusing on it when my Karmic Luck rises or lowers, I should be able to unlock it permanently.'
The next mont, Kyle focused on his body.
'The Minor Sin Aura is still there, which ans the beasts and people around won't be my biggest fans. My minor reduction in pure luck is also still there, as is the headache.'
Kyle snorted. 'But co on! That's nothing compared to what I went through the last couple of centuries!'
The next mont, he looked around, and eventually, he noticed a specific planet.
'First, I gotta get to dea!'
