Three scaly Spitters were at the bottom of the hole.
When they saw Kyle jumping down, they shot their fireballs at him.
One of them hit him, while one grazed him.
His body started to burn, but Kyle just focused on the scaly Spitters.
He had been hit by several fireballs before. This was nothing new to him.
BOOOOM!
As he landed, his hamr completely obliterated one of them, blood flying everywhere.
One of the scaly Spitters imdiately jumped at Kyle, who glared at it.
He grabbed it out of the air by the throat and swung it around to hit the other one.
The two scaly Spitters hit each other, breaking several of their respective bones.
Kyle spotted another two Spitters in the tunnel.
One of them imdiately turned around and scrambled away.
The other one seed to be frozen in fear.
Kyle charged forward.
BANG!
And hit the frozen scaly Spitter against the wall with his hamr.
Then, he ran down the tunnel.
"Get back here!" he shouted angrily.
Kyle slowly gained ground during the chase, but just when they reached the half-destroyed platform, the scaly Spitter quickly scrambled over the edge.
"Oh no, you don't!" Kyle shouted, lifting his hamr and striking the ground in front of him with his full power.
BOOOOM!
The entire platform shook, and the front of it completely collapsed.
The scaly Spitter lost its hold and started to fall.
It fell for several seconds.
However, it didn't hit the ground.
Almost all of Kyle's aggression and energy vanished when he saw a hulking behemoth catching the scaly Spitter's body out of the air.
This thing was made of black stone, but it didn't look like a golem.
It sohow looked... natural.
That thing was almost three ters high and had two hulking and muscular arms that were almost as tall as itself.
It looked like a cross between a huge gorilla and a stone.
The scaly Spitter was scrambling in the behemoth's hand, who just slowly moved it closer to look at it.
The next mont, the scaly Spitter turned its head to the behemoth's head and shot a fireball right at its face.
BOOOM!
A wave of fire washed over the behemoth's head.
But when the fire vanished...
The behemoth hadn't even flinched or reacted.
It just kept looking at the scaly Spitter.
Finally, it slowly moved the scaly Spitter to its head.
It calmly opened its mouth...
And bit the scaly Spitter's head off.
It slowly crunched on the head a couple of tis before swallowing and taking another huge bite of the corpse.
Then, its head slowly turned to look at the distant Kyle on the platform.
Right now, the behemoth was standing at the edge of the city, below the platform, while Kyle was on the platform.
Kyle's hair stood on end as he watched the behemoth slowly and calmly chewing on the scaly Spitter.
A mont later, it slowly moved one of its arms to touch the wall of the platform.
CRKSH!
It easily tore a huge chunk out of the wall and moved it to the side.
Then, it moved its arm higher and tried to grab the wall, but it just broke into pieces again.
'This thing is trying to climb up!' Kyle realized.
'Luckily, it's far too heavy! The wall imdiately collapses as soon as it puts a bit of weight on it.'
The walls of the platform were not nearly as hard as the walls inside the inheritance tunnel.
After a bit of calmly trying to climb, the behemoth crouched.
BOOOOM!
And jumped with all of its power.
Its speed was trendous, and Kyle saw it coming closer.
'This fucker!' he thought as he realized that the behemoth was actually going to manage to jump the 100 ters to the edge of the platform!
100 ters!
This thing could jump 100 ters straight into the air!
Kyle knew that this beast was unlike any he had ever seen before.
Sure, Sulfur was stronger, but Sulfur was a golem!
In a mont, Kyle realized one thing.
Ferocious Beast!
This had to be a Ferocious Beast!
A beast of the Second Realm!
These were the kinds of beasts that made Spirit Spring Ore grow near them!
Kyle jumped back.
The behemoth extended its hand towards him as it landed on the platform.
Kyle's entire body bulged as he pulled his hamr back.
Then, he smashed his hamr at the approaching hand.
BOOOM!
The hand was thrown to the side, with several cracks on its surface.
A mont later, as the behemoth properly landed on the platform, everything below it crumbled.
The platform couldn't withstand the behemoth's weight, and the behemoth fell down, surrounded by rubble.
The behemoth fell for several seconds.
BOOOOM!
And hit the ground while being pelted by big rocks.
Kyle looked at the distant behemoth with anxiety.
When he had struck the hand, it had felt massive!
It was so insanely heavy!
A mont later, the rubble moved, and the behemoth slowly climbed out of the stone heap.
It looked up at Kyle again, making his heart race.
Then, it slowly looked at its hand.
There were several cracks on it.
For several seconds, it just looked at its hand.
Following that, it threw another glance at Kyle.
Finally, it just grabbed the half-eaten scaly Spitter corpse and resud eating.
Kyle breathed heavily as he saw the behemoth slowly chomping down on the corpse.
When it was done, Kyle could see its hand again.
The cracks were gone!
It looked once more at Kyle.
They looked at each other for several seconds.
The behemoth turned around...
And slowly walked back into the city.
Kyle watched it walk away, relief washing over him.
'Guess I'm too troubleso,' he thought as he sighed in relief.
He watched it for a while.
Kyle saw it stopping in the middle of a clearing inside the ruins.
The next mont, it lowered its stance and... compacted itself?
When it finally stopped moving, it looked exactly like a big boulder.
'This thing is camouflaging as a stone,' Kyle thought nervously.
'Luckily, I know where it is and what it looks like.'
But then, Kyle noticed sothing horrifying.
There were several boulders strewn throughout the ruins that looked exactly like this one!
They all had the sa color and sa shape!
Kyle took a deep breath.
'Fuck this trial!'
' and all my homies hate this trial!'
