On the horizon, Kyle saw a humongous bird, its wings creating a domain of destruction just by flapping.

This thing was absolutely massive, even bigger than Kyle.

"Level Five Primal Beast," Warp Space transmitted to Kyle.

"Let ," he answered as he readied his hamr.

Warp Space and Swamp Dragon looked at each other for a mont as they communicated.

anwhile, the humongous bird had already started to approach Kyle.

For just a mont, it looked at the headless panther corpse below it.

It was attracted by the panther corpse, but not because of its at, but because of what it represented.

A powerful opponent!

Beasts were drawn to dangerous battles, and sothing that could kill this panther this easily had to be a worthy opponent.

The bird had red feathers, which burned with ferocity.

It was more than clear that this bird had a Fire Affinity.

As it flew towards Kyle, it left a trail of fire behind.

The trees that it passed over all started burning ferociously.

BANG!

The ground beneath Kyle exploded as he flew forward.

While he kept running, his body shrank.

It was more than obvious that this bird focused on speed. Fighting it at such a size would be detrintal.

Kyle decided to reduce his size to barely 100 ters, which was tiny compared to the bird.

He wasn't even as big as one of its talons.

The bird charged at Kyle at speeds he couldn't even hope to match in an area without any gravitational influence.

Swamp Dragon and Warp Space also moved forward, trying to follow Kyle.

Sadly, both of them were too slow and were left behind.

When the bird and Kyle reached each other, the battle began.

Almost imdiately, the bird swung its wings forward, and a tornado of intense fire surrounded Kyle.

At the sa ti, blue fire appeared around Kyle.

The tornado turned everything into ash, and despite the cooling effects of his Yin-Fire, Kyle once again got acquainted with the familiar pain of being burned alive.

Burns and blisters appeared all over his body as he continued forward.

He jumped out of the fiery tornado and reached the bird.

Naturally, with its speed, it could see what Kyle was doing and reacted accordingly.

In an instant, one of its talons shot forward.

Kyle's hamr moved forward and struck the talon.

Blood exploded out of Kyle's body as the talon threw him into the distance.

anwhile, the talon only vibrated.

There were no cracks on it. While Kyle was still flying backwards, the bird reached him and struck again.

At that mont, Kyle used his Montum, and the talon just hesitated for a tiny mont.

Luckily, that gave Kyle enough ti to move just a couple of ters to the side.

The talon struck the ground, and a deep and scorched hole appeared.

Usually, Kyle saved his Montum for the last strike, but this ti, he had been forced to use it to survive.

Using one's Montum like this was like fighting silently and suddenly releasing a bloodcurdling scream.

If the opponent weren't prepared for that, they would be shocked for just a mont, giving the other party an opportunity.

But that worked only once.

The next ti, the opponent would be prepared for the scream.

When the bird realized that it had missed, it imdiately swung its wings forward.

The fire around the wings intensified, and a burning storm appeared in front of them.

It was like all the heat of its fire was focused on the spot where Kyle was.

BOOOOOOOM!

At that mont, a loud crack thundered through the world.

It was the sound of a rib breaking.

At this mont, Kyle's hamr was stuck in the bird's chest, but due to the size difference, the hamr might as well be a tack.

Just before the bird had unleashed its fiery storm, it had pulled its talon back, and just before that happened, Kyle had used his Soul to attach his body to the talon.

While it had unleashed the storm, Kyle had let go of the talon, used the significant montum of the bird's force, and ramd his hamr into its chest.

In the next instant, all the fire on the bird's feathers intensified before a wave traveled across its surface.

The feathers on its back extinguished, while the feathers on its chest intensified.

The feathers on its wings also extinguished, while the feathers on its chest beca even hotter.

BOOOOOOM!

A concentrated ball of fire exploded on the bird's chest, right where Kyle had been just a mont before.

Naturally, Kyle knew that he wouldn't be safe this close to his enemy, which was why he had retreated.

The bird quickly found its opponent again and resud attacking.

At the sa ti, its rib was already halfway done healing.

'Its defense is crazy!' Kyle thought as his mind tried to find a way to kill this thing. 'It's definitely not focusing on defense but on speed. Yet, just because its body is so strong, my most powerful attack can only break a rib!'

During a fight between Mortals, a broken rib was no small thing.

However, Kyle and the bird both had enough Biological Energy that they could recover over a hundred broken ribs in just a couple of seconds.

'I don't think I can kill it.'

BOOOOM!

At that mont, the ground below the bird exploded, and a humongous claw ca out of it.

The bird noticed the claw, flapped its wings, and easily avoided it.

Everyone looked at the claw, and the next mont, they saw a long black head peeking out of the hole the claw had made.

'A mole, but with really long claws,' Kyle thought as his eyes shone.

'This might be an opportunity. This is not the first ti I've used my enemies to kill my enemies.'

The next mont, the bird and the mole looked at each other.

Beasts had their own way to communicate.

Naturally, the mole had tried to get a cheap shot at the bird, but that was normal for beasts.
