When the first Transcendents had been born after he had beco an Overseer, he had already seen a couple of karmic movents.
Then, when his Karmic Luck had increased just before he entered the Main Dinsion, he had seen it more strongly.
He had gotten a certain kind of feeling for it.
It was still a bit chaotic, but he managed to feel a couple of things.
And just now, when Warp Space had talked about her Laws, Kyle had felt sothing change.
For just a mont, he felt like sothing that had been positive beca a bit less positive.
In colors, one could say he felt like a green light had beco less green.
Everyone was connected with Karmic Connections.
For the vast majority of cases, the connections were very distant and weak.
While a Mortal on one end of the Supre World was connected to a Mortal on the other end, these kinds of Karmic Connections were so weak that they basically didn't exist.
It was like saying that an atom had a gravitational impact on Earth.
Yes, it was technically true, but it might as well be zero.
The team of three was strongly connected by Karmic Luck.
They knew each other, talked to each other, fought together, and so on.
Every kind of interaction had so karmic effect.
As of this mont, due to Kyle's deception as a mber of the Cult of Final Fate, the positive karmic influence the other two had on him was worse than he had on them.
It was still positive since Kyle had been honest with his power and since he was willing to defend them with his life, but his deception made this a bit weaker.
Swamp Dragon received the most Karmic Luck out of them since he had been honest with all of them. Additionally, he was also willing to trust them and go all in on them.
However, just now, when Warp Space had talked about her power, the positive Karmic Luck she was receiving from the other two dropped.
Kyle noticed that.
'She has lied,' Kyle thought. 'I was honest, but she wasn't.'
Being honest to soone was better for Karmic Luck than being deceitful, and the difference was especially big when the other party had already led with honesty.
However, one also had to know that being honest didn't an that soone had to tell everything to soone else.
Naturally, Warp Space didn't want to share the details of her powers with the others, and she could have kept her powers hidden without lying.
"I don't feel comfortable telling you about my power."
That would have been honest.
Instead, she had lied.
Now, what was the impact of that decision?
Negligible.
She wasn't gaining as much Karmic Luck as before.
However, that was only true when soone looked at the short term.
Since Kyle had realized that Warp Space was lying, he was understandably less willing to trust her with his life.
This might not ever beco relevant, or it might lead to her, or the entire group's, death.
'I can't be sure what she lied about, but I think it's mostly about her artificial Affinity.'
'This might be a wild guess, but I think she got an artificial Affinity for Gravity. I an, having all three of these related things as an Affinity would be wild.'
Kyle glanced at Swamp Dragon.
'Not sure if he also noticed. He's amazing at keeping a poker face. I've never seen this guy smile or change his expression. He looked cold and serious when he targeted with comnts, and he looked the sa when he apologized.'
"Well, now that we know more about our powers," Warp Space said with a smile. "What are our plans? What do we want to get first?"
"I need Yin-Wind," Kyle said. "If we could find so Yin-Wind sowhere, that would be great."
"I'm working on the Law of Body," Swamp Dragon said. "I want to create an Essence Fusion of my Laws of Earth, Water, Yin-Biology, and infuse my Law of Body with it."
"How far along are you?" Kyle asked.
"Fragnt of Efficiency and tabolism. I'm missing the remaining eight," Swamp Dragon said before looking at Kyle. "Would you be willing to tell how you comprehended yours? It might help with my comprehension."
"Sure," Kyle said. "I comprehended the Fragnt of Organs when I fought a big lobster. I got most of the other ones by getting burned by regular fire or almost dying to Yin-Fire. I got the Fragnt of Nerves by getting attacked by soone stronger, and I got the Fragnt of Size and Speed by growing real big and jogging for a couple of years."
Swamp Dragon looked at Kyle, and one of his brows rose. "You got one by fighting a lobster?"
"Oh yeah," Kyle said. "I got stabbed all over and nearly died. I really needed a hand back then."
"Hand, as in help?" Swamp Dragon asked.
"No, a literal hand," Kyle said. "Mine was missing."
"You just gotta really push yourself. Run out of Biological Energy and… just keep going, I guess. "
Warp Space looked with furrowed brows at Kyle. "That would kill him."
"You're not supposed to kill yourself, obviously," Kyle said. "You just gotta get real close. Like… almost kill yourself, you know? Just a little bit of suicide."
Swamp Dragon furrowed his brows.
"How much suicide?" he asked.
Kyle shrugged. "However much you're comfortable with. As long as you think you're still going to survive, it should be fine. Maybe you can find so Yin-Fire for yourself and just stay inside. The penetrative power of Yin-Fire hits your entire body. Great for bones, organs, and muscles."
Swamp Dragon nodded. "How did you comprehend your Fragnts in the Yin-Fire?"
"I just swung my hamr."
Swamp Dragon furrowed his brows and looked down in thought.
"I see what you an."
"Great!" Kyle said with a smile before looking at Warp Space. "What about you?"
"I need warped space," she said. "The more warped it is, the better. The strongest warping of space occurs near the center of big planets. This planet is just right. As long as I keep digging down, I can observe more warped space."
"Sounds good," Kyle said.
