Kyle watched the emblem shine for a couple of seconds.

They had not been called over for a battle.

'Seems like Warp Space won and didn't need our help,' Kyle thought.

Just to make sure, Kyle activated the function that told him where his teammates were.

Both arrows were pointing up with slightly different angles.

'Well, since both arrows are still there, it ans that both of them are still alive. Warp Space survived her True Battle. Good for her!'

Kyle closed his eyes again and resud his comprehension.

An unknown period of ti passed before the emblem started to shine again.

'Again?' he thought as he looked at it.

Kyle readied himself for a battle.

Seconds passed.

Ten seconds passed.

'This is a long battle,' Kyle thought.

Usually, difficult fights between Transcendents were finished in just five seconds or so.

After all, they were so fast that they could launch several attacks within a single second.

The emblem didn't stop shining.

Eventually, over 30 seconds passed.

'Brah, what? What the fuck is Warp Space fighting? Also, why hasn't she called for help yet?'

The battle between the team and the bird had only taken a bit more than ten seconds. Finally, after over 40 seconds, the emblem stopped shining.

Kyle activated the function again and saw only one arrow.

For just a mont, Kyle's heart raced, but then, he noticed that there were actually two arrows.

They were just almost perfectly overlapping.

'Ah, I see. That explains things. I think that was Swamp Dragon. If he fights a sufficiently powerful beast, his poison takes a long ti to kill it. Most likely, he fought sothing just a bit above his level, and he ran over to Warp Space. They're probably both on the beast planet.'
