Kyle watched the open door at the back of the hall with excitent.
'Rewards? I love rewards!' he thought. 'Though I'm not completely sure how useful it will be. I an, it's tailor-made, right? That ans it has to be useful, but I'm honestly not sure what I need.'
Warp Space was the first one to step through the door with an excited smile.
The way she smiled almost made her seem like a little girl.
Even Swamp Dragon was smiling slightly, which was rare for him.
"Shall we?" Swamp Dragon asked Kyle.
"Sure!" Kyle said.
The two of them also stepped through the door.
After stepping through the door, they saw a huge room with a pyramid. The pyramid had a flat top, making it look like a huge pedestal.
Light shone through an opening in the ceiling, illuminating the top of the pyramid.
Warp Space had already gone to the top of the pyramid, and she was being illuminated by the bright light.
The next mont, Swamp Dragon and Kyle saw the light becoming brighter.
At that mont, an object slowly started to float through the hole.
The object was a crystalline dodecahedron with a purple ball in its center.
"Warp Space," a kind voice echoed through the hall, "as reward, you shall receive a Suppressed Planet Core."
Warp Space's eyes widened in shock.
A Suppressed Planet Core?!
That was beyond valuable!
She took the Suppressed Planet Core into her hands and looked at it with reverence.
She experinted with it a bit, and the next mont, a powerful force of gravity was unleashed, shaking the surroundings.
In an instant, Warp Space deactivated the object again, and the force of gravity vanished.
"Hey, what's that thing do?" Kyle asked from the foot of the pyramid.
Warp Space looked back in surprise.
She had been so excited that she had forgotten about her two teammates.
She smiled sheepishly before floating down from the pyramid.
The next mont, she showed the Suppressed Planet Core to Swamp Dragon and Kyle.
"It's the core of a planet," she said. "Archon has two, but every mber has to share access to it. I only managed to save up enough Contribution Points to use one of them for a couple of years, but it has helped trendously."
The Suppressed Planet Core rotated in her hand. "The crystalline structure around the Planet Core can activate, deactivate, and change the Planet Core's powers."
"As you know, I'm not powerful enough to co anywhere close to an actual Planet's Core, which makes looking at its workings difficult. I can only infer its workings based on how it interacts with other things."
Kyle nodded with an impressed expression.
'Would suck if I couldn't look at fire itself. I would only be able to understand it by looking at how other stuff becos hot and how air moves due to the heat. I can see why understanding gravity would be difficult without sothing like this.'
Warp Space looked at the Suppressed Planet Core with respect. "This is the actual Core of a planet. Creating a Suppressed Planet Core ans destroying a planet and capturing its Core."
It was understandable why this thing was so expensive.
Almost every single planet was owned by so organization, and destroying a planet represented destroying a big part of an organization's territory.
Planets were like chickens. Harvesting the eggs they laid every day was better than killing them for their at.
On top of that, destroying an entire planet took a considerable level of power, and suppressing the Core was probably even more difficult.
'You probably have to be a powerful True Crusher or a True Sage to create sothing like this,' Kyle thought. 'This reward is crazy. Warp Space said that Archon only has two. anwhile, the Array of Stars is just handing this thing out.'
'They sure have money.'
"This is very useful to you," Swamp Dragon said.
Warp Space nodded, but she also felt a bit awkward.
It was no secret anymore that she also knew about gravity.
She knew that she had lied and that the other two had seen through her lie.
How was she supposed to act now?
Was she supposed to apologize for her lie? Justify herself? Just not ntion it?
"teor Hamr, I will be going first," Swamp Dragon said.
"Sure, go ahead," Kyle said with a dismissive wave.
Swamp Dragon nodded before slowly climbing the pyramid.
It took almost two entire minutes for him to climb the entire thing, and when he reached the top, he looked up towards the light.
The light beca brighter again, and a small bead started to float down from the ceiling.
"Swamp Dragon," the gentle voice spoke, "as your reward, you receive a Furnace Bead."
The bead slowly landed in Swamp Dragon's hands, and he looked at it with furrowed brows.
"What's that?" Kyle asked from the bottom of the pyramid.
"I… don't know," Swamp Dragon said.
The next mont, a long text made of light appeared in front of Swamp Dragon, explaining the function of the Furnace Bead. When Swamp Dragon read the text, he had to take a deep breath.
"Thank you," he said with a respectful bow before going back to the bottom.
When he reached the bottom again, he frowned.
"Why so glum?" Kyle asked as he put his hand on Swamp Dragon's shoulder. "This should take care of your Law of Body."
Swamp Dragon looked at the Furnace Bead.
"I realize the value of the Furnace Bead," he said, "but you can probably understand why I am not looking forward to using it."
Kyle shrugged. "Who cares? Just more pain."
The Furnace Bead got its na because it essentially made a body bubble like it was in a furnace.
The body would continually break, deform, mutate, and change.
While one used the Furnace Bead, one's appearance would constantly change and deform.
The use of the Furnace Bead was to comprehend the Law of Body. The way the body mutated strengthened it evenly, and it even made the body subconsciously use specific ways associated with the different Fragnts of the Body.
As long as one could deal with the trendous pain, it would only be a matter of ti until they understood the Law of Body.
Another good aspect of the Furnace Bead was that it wasn't used up.
It used the Energy inside the body to create the effect.
This ant that, after using it to comprehend the Law of Body, the owner could sell it again.
In order to create sothing like this, one needed to harvest several Beasts in the Seventh Realm for their materials.
Naturally, this thing was also extrely valuable.
It wasn't as valuable as the Suppressed Planet Core, but it was definitely what Swamp Dragon needed the most right now.
"Well, I guess it's ti for my reward," Kyle said with a smirk.
