Kyle's perception reached deep into his being.
He stretched it as far as he could.
And then…
It activated!
Kyle could see the Lord!
"Why are you reporting so soon?" the Lord asked.
"I need so help," Kyle said. "I'm stuck."
The Lord furrowed his brows.
"Is it safe for to expand my perception? If there's soone powerful watching, you will die," he said.
"If there were anyone around, I wouldn't be stuck," Kyle said.
The next mont, the Lord's perception stretched out.
As he saw Kyle's situation, his brows rose in surprise.
Despite his millions of years of experience, he couldn't deduce what had happened.
How could his Parasite be stuck in such a place?
"What happened?" the Lord asked.
"Well," Kyle said before narrating his current job and what had happened.
When the Lord heard what had happened, his doubts were cleared.
Yeah, he could see how Kyle got stuck in this situation.
However, while it could happen this way, this was not the most likely scenario.
A simpler explanation would be that the Array of Stars found out about Kyle's status and used him to find more Parasites. After all, if the Cult saved Kyle, he wouldn't have a credible explanation for how he got out of this ss.
This ant that the Cult would need to use another organization to unearth Kyle, which would unveil their other Parasites.
"Swear that what you told was the truth," the Lord said.
"I can swear on whatever you want," Kyle said. "I swear on my Realm, my Soul, my Karmic Luck, my Spirit, my dick, whatever! I only spoke the truth!"
The Lord waited a mont.
Nothing changed.
The Lord grew a bit suspicious.
While it wasn't impossible to temporarily isolate the Laws of Karma, doing so was beyond expensive.
Only people in the Twelfth Realm could do sothing like that.
It was still possible that this was a trap, but not likely.
The Lord remained silent for a while as he weighed his options.
"Fine, I believe you," the Lord said. "I will put things into motion that will lead to your rescue, but it won't happen imdiately."
"It will take a couple of decades, at least."
"Do not make regret this!"
Kyle wanted to sigh in relief, but he still couldn't move.
"Thank you!" Kyle transmitted in relief. "Take all the ti you need! I'll be waiting here."
The Lord wasn't sure if that last comnt was a joke, and he didn't care enough to waste thoughts on that matter. Instead, he simply cut the connection, and Kyle was left alone again.
Relief washed over Kyle.
'I don't have to stay here forever! Lucky!'
Then, he thought of Swamp Dragon and felt a bit bad.
'He probably thinks I'm dead.'
'Kinda feels bad making him feel bad, but whatcha gonna do? It's not like I can send an e-mail.'
'I hope Manny isn't causing him any issues.'
'Anyway, since I'm getting rescued, this trip wasn't so bad. My Montum increased so fucking much! Not sure if I've ever been in this much danger before.'
'On top of that, I comprehended the Fragnt of Higher Primal Materials.'
'Lastly, my Soul Space is filled with insanely valuable ore!'
'Risk and reward, I guess.'
After thinking about random things for a while, Kyle tried to find a way to kill so ti.
Naturally, his first thought was training.
'Can't really comprehend the tal around . It's too high-level.'
'Can't swing my hamr.'
'Well, I guess the next best thing is to unlock my Clusters. I can't really do it the usual way, but I'm sure I'll find a way.'
Kyle looked at his body and Biological Energy.
His body was constantly getting injured and was collapsing in different places due to the imnse pressure and gravity.
He was busy micromanaging his Biological Energy to heal the relevant parts.
'If I simply change so things here and there, I could simulate training.'
Kyle removed so of his Biological Energy from his abdon.
CRKSH!
His abdon imdiately collapsed under the pressure.
After it was sufficiently broken, Kyle moved his Biological Energy back to his abdon, making it recover faster.
At the sa ti, he pulled the Biological Energy from his chest away.
CRKSH!
His chest caved in, but Kyle still protected his Center and Law Spark.
Next, he moved the Biological Energy from his head to his chest.
His chest recovered, while his head started to deform.
Finally, he pulled the Biological Energy from his abdon to his head.
His head recovered, and his abdon collapsed again.
'Three Clusters remaining. Abdon, chest, and head. As long as I keep the cycle going, it should bring so progress.'

The three parts of his body got injured in a cycle, and as Kyle kept doing so, he noticed that he was making progress.
His Clusters were slowly being unlocked.
'You know, being stuck here isn't so bad. I'm forced to train my body. '
'Kinda reminds of when I t Theodor. He also constantly forced to train.'
As Kyle found his rhythm, ti rapidly passed.
Ten years…
Twenty years…
He was rapidly making progress, and within 20 years, his remaining three minor Clusters were 75% unlocked.
'This isn't so bad,' Kyle thought as he kept training.
In a certain way, Kyle kind of felt lucky that he was stuck here.
This was amazing for his training!
Most people would call Kyle's situation unlucky or tragic, but he was not most people.

His Clusters were unlocked by 85%.

95%.
And finally, after another ten years…

The Cluster in Kyle's abdon fully unlocked.
This Cluster strengthened his abdon a lot, but it also supported his legs, making them even stronger.

The Cluster in Kyle's chest unlocked, strengthening it and further strengthening his arms.

The Cluster in Kyle's head unlocked, and as soon as that happened, Kyle's entire body strengthened.

His body had reached an equilibrium.
He had beco a 7/13 Primal.
Now, only the major Clusters were left.

Kyle looked at the Eighth Cluster, which was inside his heart.
Unlocking this Cluster would strengthen his entire body again.
Kyle focused on his heart and forced it to beat at unhealthy rates.
His heartbeat turned into a hum as the individual vibrations reached the frequency of soundwaves.
A Mortal's heart would explode, but Kyle wasn't a Mortal.
His heart tore in many places, but he had enough Biological Energy to continually repair it.
He kept focusing on his heart.
Unlocking this Cluster would take more ti than the others, but Kyle was used to slow progress.
Suddenly, the gravity around Kyle vanished, and he was pulled out of his training.
'Huh?' he thought.
Just now, the gravity had still been violently pulling on Kyle, but now, there was no gravity anymore.
The pressure around him also vanished, but he was still stuck.
'Sothing must have happened!'
The next mont, Kyle noticed sothing.
His communicator had activated by itself!
"Unauthorized access!" it wrote in big red letters.
Kyle just looked at it.
So seconds later, his tomb started to violently vibrate.
CRK!
And then, the walls around him broke into pieces.
