Kyle looked at his perfectly functional and efficient Center with a smile.

'Look at how clean this guy is!' as he slapped his abs.

He felt the Energy coursing through his body with vigor, and he also felt how densely filled his Center was.

'Who would've thought that my Center could hold so much Energy? It's crazy!'

What was the effect of the Law of Center?

Well, the Law of Body increased one's physical power a lot.

The Law of Soul increased one's perception and infusion abilities a lot.

Naturally, the Law of Center increased one's Energy storage a lot.

In fact, Kyle had almost twice as much Energy in his Center as before, essentially doubling his power when it ca to using his Elental attacks.

Of course, he could also transform it into Biological Energy, but that wouldn't double his physical power.

His physical power increased a bit, but not by a lot. More important was that he could generate more Biological Energy, which translated into…

'I can lose more arms and legs now!'

Naturally, the recovery rate of his Energy also increased, but it was more of a 20% than a 100% increase.

'If I were a technique or Spell kinda guy, I would be super happy right now. Sadly, I'm a hamr-guy. I smash shit.'

'Still, my power increased, and a better Center will help with understanding Laws better. While Laws are not that important right now, they will beco super important again. In the future, I will be happy that I went through this.'

Next, Kyle took out his Communicator and checked the date.

'Still about 60 years until my next shift starts.'

Then, he checked his tenth Cluster.

'About 20 more years on that.'

'I can't start with my eleventh Cluster right now since I need like 500 years to unlock this thing. Speaking of, how could I even do that? I have to earn a living! Does the Array of Stars expect its Disciples to unlock the eleventh Cluster while still going to work?'

Kyle took out his Communicator.

'I'm calling in sick,' he joked in his mind.

He searched for more information about the eleventh Cluster and quickly found sothing.

'Oh! I get 500 years off for that?' he thought in excitent.

Kyle also found an attached contact on the article about the eleventh Cluster, and he quickly wrote a ssage.

"Hey, my tenth Cluster will be done in twenty years. In 60 years, I have a shift as a Rarity Hunter, and afterwards, I will be an Exchange Seeker. I need so ti for my eleventh Cluster. Can I have so ti off after my next shift as Rarity Hunter?"

Kyle waited for a couple of minutes for an answer.

"Soone will contact you shortly."

Kyle's brows rose when he saw the answer.

'I thought that was your job,' he thought.

But then, soone appeared in front of him.

It was the sa guy who told Kyle about Legendary Transcendents.

The Chief Overseer.

"teor Hamr," the Chief Overseer greeted Kyle with a serious expression.

"Chief Overseer… I think," Kyle answered.

"Yes, I am the Chief Overseer," he said. "Do you have so ti to talk?"

Kyle raised one of his brows.

'That's unusual. This guy is usually so busy. Every ti we talked before, he essentially ended the conversation as quickly as possible. Now, he's suddenly asking if I have ti?'

"Sure," Kyle answered.

The next mont, a table and two chairs appeared in Kyle's ho gym, and the Chief Overseer sat down while motioning for Kyle to also sit down.

Kyle slowly sat down, and as he did so, he beca a bit nervous.

This seed serious.

Would he get fired?

Did they think he scamd them or sothing?

"teor Hamr," the Chief Overseer slowly said. "You said your tenth Cluster will unlock in about twenty years, correct?"

Kyle nodded.

"You have created a Level 3.5 Complex Law as a Transcendent. Is that also correct?" the Chief Overseer asked.

"Yep," Kyle said.

"Please, demonstrate your Montum," the Chief Overseer said.

"Eh, sure," Kyle said.

The next mont, Kyle's eyes narrowed, and the world around him turned colorless and dark.

The atmosphere in the room beca tense and oppressive, but the Chief Overseer seed like he didn't notice.

After so seconds, Kyle deactivated his Montum again.

Naturally, after Kyle's near-death experience during his first alert as a Rarity Hunter, his Montum had shot through the roof.

The first True Battle after advancent was always the most effective one.

Of course, this didn't an that having a bad first True Battle after an advancent would severely hamper one's future Montum developnt.

It was just that the first one was essentially without suppressions.

Assuming soone had 100 Montum Points after advancing, and the theoretical maximum for the next Realm was 400.

A good first True Battle would grant 200 Montum Points at an efficiency of 100%, which would an soone would have 300 Montum Points after the battle. A bad first True Battle might give sothing like 50 points, moving the total to 150 points.

Soone with a good first True Battle would have a much more powerful Montum than soone who had gone through a bad one.

However, when the next True Battle ca, things would be different.

At that point, the level of the person's Montum would receive a suppression factor based on how much current Montum they had when compared to the theoretical max for the Realm.

Assuming both parties went through a second True Battle that gave 100 points.

The first person would only receive about 30 points due to the suppression factor, pushing their total to 330 Montum Points.

The other person would receive about 90 Montum Points, pushing their total to 240.

Then, the third battle would take the new base again.

If there were another battle with 100 Montum Points, the first one would receive about 25 points, while the second one would get almost 60. This would put their points at 355 and 300.

It was important to note that the suppression factor didn't scale linearly. It was more like a slight curve.

Kyle had gone through a brutal first True Battle, which had shot his Montum through the roof, but even if soone didn't go through a brutal first True Battle, they could still catch up.

As long as there were only multiplications, there was no difference in which order the numbers were placed. As long as the numbers were identical, the sa result would happen.

It was just that the result would only be relevant as soon as soone advanced to the next Realm. Before then, people were simply at different parts of their multiplication equation, with so having multiplied the big numbers already, while others had multiplied the small ones first.

After Kyle had deactivated his Montum, the Chief Overseer looked at him with furrowed brows.

"I have a proposition for you," he said. "If you accept, you will receive all the free ti you want."

"Oh?" Kyle asked. "Sure, I'm listening."

The Chief Overseer nodded.
