"So, the first thing she tells to do is to kill every single Mortal who went through any kind of ritual, except for the ritual that gives you an Aristocrat's Body or however that was called," Kyle said.
Long Transformation took a deep breath.
Right now, both of them were inside Kyle's room. Long Transformation had already received her job, Communicator, and tasks. In a couple of days, she would start working.
But first, she wanted to know what had actually happened to Kyle after she had left.
"Every single one?" she asked in shock.
"Every single one," Kyle answered. "Hundreds of thousands of people. It was… pretty bad."
"And you did that?" she asked.
Kyle nodded. "What else am I supposed to do? Yeah, I wasn't the biggest fan of doing that, but I'm not about to sacrifice my life for other people."
Long Transformation sighed. "I can see where you're coming from," she said before shaking her head. "Honestly, I can't see a reason as to why the Red Witch asked you to change the world this drastically."
"When I beca an Overseer, I slowly changed things. I created the rituals and let things run their course. It took a while, but eventually, there were no more True Transcendents."
Kyle raised an eyebrow. "What about the fact that nobody in this world can eat beasts?"
"Also an effect of the rituals," she said. "If you have children after you have undergone one of the rituals, your children will also inherit the inability to consu beasts."
"From ti to ti, I just had to get rid of so old records, and within a couple of centuries, everyone believed that consuming beast at was bad. It looked like this had always been the case, and nobody tried it since. Well, there was the occasional person who tried it and succeeded, but information doesn't spread very quickly."
"Of course, my Karmic Luck received quite a heavy hit, but within a couple of centuries, all the Mortals, who had undergone a ritual, were thankful for the rituals, increasing my Karmic Luck again."
As Kyle watched Long Transformation talk, he got reminded of his ti in the Tertiary World.
'She's really different,' Kyle thought. 'As the Overseer, she seed almost mystical and all-knowing. There was nothing that could shock or surprise her.'
'But now, she seems kinda uncertain about a lot of things.'
"You changed a lot," Kyle comnted.
Long Transformation's eyes defocused, and she just stared into space with a lost expression.
"Things are different, " she said. "All of this is unfamiliar territory to . Things I have believed to be true are no longer true. Things I have believed to be impossible are suddenly possible."
"I'm no longer in the Contrast Empire, which is more than surprising."
"I feel like everything around is getting out of control," she said with furrowed brows.
Kyle's brows rose in surprise. "Out of control?"
Long Transformation nodded. "I feel like I have no control over my surroundings anymore. I am being sent to different places, and I can't tell how things are going to play out in the coming centuries."
"As an Overseer, I had everything under control. Nobody could do anything without knowing about it. Now, I don't even know what the person in the next room is doing. I don't know where I'm being sent to. I don't know what I'm supposed to do."
Kyle scratched the back of his head. "Isn't that normal?"
"I guess it is," Long Transformation said. "It's just… It's so different. Everything is different."
Then, she looked at Kyle. "The only thing that hasn't changed is you. You still seem to be the sa."
"Kinda," Kyle said. "I did learn a couple of things, but I don't think I have changed that much."
"That's good," Long Transformation said. "It's not up to to decide, but I would want you not to change too much. Stay true to yourself."
Kyle looked at Long Transformation awkwardly.
That sounded a bit too personal, which made him uncomfortable.
"I'll try my best," he answered.
Long Transformation looked at Kyle for a while, making him even more uncomfortable.
In the end, Long Transformation took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a mont.
"Apologies, but I want to get ready for my job," she said as she stood up.
"Oh yeah, sure!" Kyle answered quickly. "I also have to go back to training."
Long Transformation looked to the side, her eyes unfocused. "We are very busy," she comnted. "We have to focus on our training. If we stop putting in effort, we will be left behind."
The alarm in Kyle's mind went off when he heard these words.
For just a mont, his mind returned to the ti he had been with his crazy ex.
"Yes, you're absolutely right!" Kyle said, fully agreeing. "We are way too busy! Gotta keep grinding!"
Long Transformation took a deep breath before sighing. "Yes, you're right," she said.
Then, she looked at Kyle with a friendly smile. "Thank you for sharing your story with . I'm looking forward to our cooperation as Crushers. "
Kyle nodded. "See you! Good luck!"
Long Transformation also nodded before leaving the room.
After Long Transformation had left, Kyle took a deep breath.
'I feel like I've dodged a bullet. I don't know what kind of bullet I've dodged, but I'm glad I dodged it.'
'Sad that I didn't get to finish my story. I guess she's just too busy. Although I'm also super busy.'
'Anyway, I got ti now. No more duties until I'm a Crusher. Almost 900 years of pure hamr swinging are left!'
'My eleventh Cluster will unlock in about 50 or 60 years, and then, I can finally unlock my twelfth Cluster. Not sure how long that is going to take, but nobody ever ntioned that ti is a limiting factor for the twelfth Cluster. Might just take a couple of decades.'
'I should focus on my hamr for the next 60 years or so. Then, I will deal with the twelfth Cluster, and afterwards…'
'Just hamr.'
'Infinite hamr.'
'Well, kinda infinite.'
Kyle took out his hamr and returned to hitting the flying mannequins.
He wanted to get a bit better at increasing the speed of his hamr.
'I don't think I can increase the physical weight of my hamr by using Energy. That would be weird. However, I can increase its speed and its Energy weight.'
'If I manage to push both of them to the peak, I might be able to combine them. At that point, my attacks would beco crazily strong!'
'Just gotta keep going.'
For the next couple of decades, Kyle trained with the mannequins.
He got a bit better at using his hamr, but before he could make any real headway, his eleventh Cluster unlocked.
All the pain inside Kyle's mind suddenly vanished, and he felt his body explode with power.
Kyle perford a practice swing, and his eyes quickly widened.
'Wait, what?' he thought before swinging again.
'Bro, why is this suddenly so easy?!' Kyle thought.
