Usually, he would pick the job of Trial Scout. It would give him plenty of ti to comprehend Laws. Additionally, it gave several good opportunities to increase his Montum, and the rewards were also pretty good.
However, with the added context of what the Chief Overseer had said, Kyle actually wanted to vote for the job of Outsider.
The main reason was that the Chief Overseer had said that it would be the best job to beco a Legendary Crusher.
"I'm voting for Outsider," Kyle said.

It was important that the team ca to a consensus, but Manny was obviously very much against the job of Outsider.
Sure, they could force him to adapt to the majority, but he would probably still feel so resentnt.
"Because it's the best job to beco Legendary Crushers," she transmitted to Manny and Swamp Dragon.
Kyle didn't hear Star Genesis' voice transmission, but he imdiately noticed that sothing had happened.
It hadn't been relevant for a while, but Kyle could still sowhat see the effects of Karma in his surroundings.
And right now, he noticed that Star Genesis' Karmic Luck had dropped quite a bit.
"Legendary?" Swamp Dragon asked out loud.

That's why I worked so hard. You guys can beco Legendary Crushers as long as you accept the job of Outsider."
Kyle's instincts shouted at him that he had just committed a mistake.

Before entering the Natural Trial, Kyle had had the Second Blessing of Karmic Luck, but since the Natural Trial was one that consud Karmic Luck, Kyle's Karmic Luck had dropped to only be slightly positive.
But now, by unveiling the existence of the Legendary Realms, his Karmic Luck went a bit into the negatives.

"Yeah, but you worked harder for yours," Kyle said. "Additionally, I already cost you a lot of Montum. I don't want to cost you Karmic Luck as well."
Star Genesis just sighed.

The fact that Kyle had spent so much ti on sothing that wouldn't help his advancent finally made sense.
That was because creating a Personal Law actually did help in his advancent.
"Wait, that ans your body is stronger than ours?" Manny asked. "I an, without your Complex Law?"
Kyle nodded. "Yes, my physical power is quite a lot stronger, actually."
Swamp Dragon and Manny looked at Kyle in surprise.
"Bang," Swamp Dragon said, "how powerful are you exactly?"
"I can probably win against an Advanced Crusher," Kyle answered.
Swamp Dragon's and Manny's eyes opened wide in shock.
They knew that Kyle was stronger than they were, but they hadn't expected him to be that much stronger!
The two of them believed that they could win against dium Crushers, and they had thought that Kyle would be able to win against Major Crushers.
Yet, he said he could actually win against Advanced Crushers?!
That was crazy!
"You believe we can beco Legendary Crushers?" Swamp Dragon asked.
Kyle nodded. "The Chief Overseer said that it's about our impact on the world. We need to reach a certain level of influence and impact to beco Legendary Crushers."
"If we want to beco Unique Crushers, taking the jobs of Elite Enforcer Trainees or Trial Scouts would be better. Sadly, neither of those two jobs will allow us to gain influence. If we want to beco Legendary Crushers, we need the job of Outsiders."
Manny seed a bit uncertain.
Was there really sothing like a Legendary Realm?
"It's the truth," Star Genesis said. "I've learned about the Legendary Realms in the Contrast Empire, and I can confirm what Bang has said."
Manny looked at Swamp Dragon, who looked at Kyle and Star Genesis.
"I believe you," he said. "I never could've guessed that there would be a level beyond Unique, but it makes sense. Outstanding Seekers need to be rewarded, but good Seekers should also not aim beyond their level. The existence of the Legendary Realm makes sense, and it also makes sense that it has to be kept secret."
Swamp Dragon aimlessly looked at the ceiling.
