The fact that the Divine Beast was faster than Kyle was a bit surprising to him.

'I was a Legendary Primal and even have a Level 3.5 Complex Body Law. Not a single guy I have seen in the Secondary Sector was faster than . Yet, the first Divine Beast I fight is actually faster.'

The Divine Beast reached Kyle, and its different centipede heads stretched into all directions, surrounding Kyle from all sides.

At the sa ti, their pincers turned tallic and elongated.

Kyle changed his trajectory and flew towards one of the heads.

The head shot towards him, while the pincer also stretched forward, increasing the speed of the attack even further.

The Energy around Kyle's hamr warped as he used his Law of Hamr.

Kyle's muscles bulged as he struck forward.

BANG!

The surroundings exploded as the shockwave of the impact tore tens of kiloters of ground from the Planet.

CRK!

The pincers broke into pieces, and the chitin all over the centipede-head cracked, blood gushing out of the new cracks.

The head flew into the distance, but since it was still attached to the neck, it swung around and hit another head.

BANG!

At that mont, the pincers on the other heads exploded out of their holes, shooting towards Kyle like missiles.

Kyle's eyes widened in horror.

'Fast!'

BANG!

Kyle detonated one of his legs in an instant, the explosion catapulting him through an opening in the barrage of attacks.

Two pincers scratched his shoulder and thigh, and foreign Energy entered Kyle's body imdiately.

Kyle gritted his teeth and dealt with the foreign Energy, but he wasted almost 20% of his Energy Storage during that act.

'My Energy is too normal,' Kyle thought as he shot towards one of the heads. 'I have to avoid getting hit again, or I might actually run out of Energy.'

Luckily, his stunt managed to catch the Divine Beast by surprise, giving him an opening.

This ti, Kyle managed to hit one of the heads dead-on, and it exploded into pieces.

The other heads quickly recovered and converged on Kyle's position again.

Their pincers regrew and readied for another attack, but this ti, Kyle was prepared.

Earlier, the extre speed of the attack had taken him completely by surprise, but surprises only worked once.

Once more, the pincers shot towards Kyle.

At that mont, a dense, grey wind shot out of Kyle's body, targeting two of the pincers.

The Law of Minor Wind. Kyle had converted almost all of the Minor Wind's properties into mass, and when the stream of wind hit the two pincers, it slightly angled them to the side.

After rushing through the opening, Kyle once again struck one of the heads, destroying it.

As long as he used his Law of Hamr on his actual hamr, he wouldn't lose any Energy by using it, but only if it didn't break. If his physical hamr broke, it would be like his illusory hamr breaking, which would an a loss of 47% of his maximum Energy Storage.

Luckily, Kyle already knew the Law of Minor tal. The durability of his weapon was no longer an issue.

The Divine Beast once more attacked, but Kyle managed to deal with its attack again before destroying another head.

As the fight continued, Kyle fell into an efficient rhythm of destroying heads.

This was not an overwhelmingly powerful enemy. The Divine Beast was not sothing that was truly threatening. That much was clear from the very beginning.

As long as Kyle kept being careful, he would win.

In a way, fighting the Divine Beast was similar to a regular person fighting a venomous snake barehanded. The person only needed to be careful of the head.

Doing sothing like that was quite intimidating, but it actually wasn't overly difficult. There were plenty of videos of small monkeys ssing with venomous snakes.

Was it still dangerous? Absolutely. One mont of carelessness, and it would be over.

As Kyle kept destroying the heads, he noticed that the Divine Beast started to fight more defensively. Instead of surrounding him with unending attacks, it actually pulled back.

'I drove it into a corner,' Kyle thought. 'There will probably be one last, desperate attack before it collapses.'

Kyle destroyed more heads, and they slowly stopped recovering.

The Divine Beast's Biological Energy was critically low, while most of Kyle's Energy had already recovered.

Kyle readied another attack, but before he could launch it, sothing happened.

All of the heads of the Divine Beast recovered in an instant, far faster than before. At the sa ti, the pincers all exploded towards Kyle.

The speed of this attack was greater than any other attack the Divine Beast had launched before.

It had burned almost all of its remaining Biological Energy in this all-out attack.

Yet, a tiny mont before the pincers actually exploded towards Kyle, the surroundings turned grey and oppressive. A feeling of terror assaulted the Divine Beast for just a mont, making it hesitate for just the tiniest mont.

Naturally, Kyle had been prepared for the last, desperate attack of his target, and he had activated his Montum.

The tiny mont of hesitation was all that Kyle needed to find a clear opening.

He angled his body, shot past the attack, and swung his hamr.

BANG!

One of the heads exploded, and this ti, it didn't grow back.

Noticing that its last attack had failed, the Divine Beast quickly started to retreat.

Beasts rarely retreated after entering a battle, but it could happen occasionally.

CRK!

The pick of Kyle's hamr ramd through the chitin of one of the necks, and he pulled back.

The force he exerted slowed the Divine Beast while pulling him forward.

Kyle shot past the Divine Beast and crushed another one of its heads.

At that point, the Divine Beast's movents beca chaotic.

It was no longer fighting with a plan.

It was just flailing around.

Kyle had no issues avoiding the chaotic flailing and kept destroying one head after the other.

By the end, all the heads were destroyed, and the Divine Beast lost its ability to effectively move.

Its actual body was exposed, and Kyle ramd his hamr into it.

The strike perfectly hit the Divine Beast's brain, ending its life in almost an instant.

The body kept twitching for a while before stopping.

As Kyle looked at the dead beast, he took a deep breath.

The fight went about as expected. It was a bit dangerous, but only if Kyle made a mistake.

In his mind, Kyle went over the battle again.

'Technically, the Divine Beast only had about as much Energy as a Peak Crusher Beast, but the way it used its power was extrely efficient.'

'The speed of its attack was crazy, and it achieved that by layering its speeds. It used its base speed, moved its neck, elongated its pincers, and then shot the pincers.'

'All four parts of the attack have their own speed, and it was all added together.'

Kyle furrowed his brows.

'Is there a way I can make use of that?'
