Kyle stopped in front of the retreating mbers of Explosive Karma, who beca terrified.
Would he silence them to keep his identity secret?
"I'll buy you so ti," Kyle transmitted to them. "Go to the closest Teleportation Formation Array. Most likely, nobody will chase you. Dawnlight doesn't care enough about you."
The three of them almost couldn't believe what they were hearing.
Their Ancestor was going to protect them?
They shot past Kyle, and when they finally passed him, their doubts vanished.
They had no connection anymore, but Kyle still protected them.
"Thank you," Compound Storm transmitted.
"I will pay your kindness forward," Stalwart Conviction transmitted.
"I won't forget this," Electron Stream transmitted.
Kyle just smiled as he put his hamr over his shoulder, looking at the approaching Fulfilled Crushers.
The three mbers continued, while the five Fulfilled Crushers stopped in front of Kyle.
The five of them looked at him with narrowed eyes.
Their primary target had decided to step forward.
They were supposed to keep track of Kyle so that their Head could co and kill him.
"Not going to attack?" Kyle asked with a smile.
"Of course not," one of them transmitted. "We can't possibly win against you. We do not want to fight you."
While the first Fulfilled Crusher transmitted these words, two other ones continued flying forward, but they clearly showed that they wouldn't attack Kyle.
They would just keep following after the others.
Kyle could see what was going on.
Fighting the five Fulfilled Crushers wouldn't even count as a True Battle, and they showed no hostility towards him. This ant that Kyle's Karmic Luck would drop drastically if he killed them.
If Explosive Karma still existed as an Organization, Kyle could kill the five of them without any Karmic repercussions. Sadly, Explosive Karma was gone, turning all the mbers into unaffiliated Seekers.
As a stronger party with no connection to the weaker mbers, Kyle wasn't supposed to get involved. This was between them.
Getting involved would violate the rules of the Karmic Laws.
'The world doesn't want to get involved,' Kyle thought. 'If I get involved, it will punish .'
Two images of Kyle's past shot through his mind.
The ti he had killed millions of people under the command of the Red Witch.
The ti he had infiltrated the Array of Stars, knowing that he would betray his friends in the future. He didn't want to do these things, but he did them anyway.
It was the best way to beco stronger.
It was the best way to survive.
'For once,' Kyle thought as the world around him changed.
'Let be an eagle instead of a weasel.'
The five Fulfilled Crushers stopped moving as their eyes widened. In their eyes, the world around them transford into the domain of a God!
They knew what this ant.
Kyle had activated his Montum!
As soon as Kyle activated his Montum, he noticed five red lines appearing around him. The five lines led to the five Fulfilled Crushers, and they represented an influx of negative Karmic Luck.
He had gotten involved in their matter.
The Fulfilled Crushers gritted their teeth and stopped. Continuing the chase while being threatened by a powerful Seeker was not reasonable.
As they stopped, the red lines leading to Kyle beca bigger.
Kyle's Minor Hero Aura started to shake as his Karmic Luck reduced.
He had condensed it just a couple of years ago, and now, it was about to vanish again.
The five Fulfilled Crushers just waited in front of him. Reducing their target's Karmic Luck was a good way to weaken them.
Kyle looked at two of the mbers, who just looked at him with subtle smirks.
They knew that he wouldn't ruin his Karmic Luck just to kill them.
It wasn't worth it.
Suddenly, an illusory hamr appeared behind one of the Fulfilled Crushers and swung forward.
CRKSH!
The pick of the illusory hamr beheaded the Fulfilled Crusher in an instant.
Silence.
Shocked silence.
The remaining four Crushers looked at Kyle in shock and horror.
Kyle saw one of the red lines vanish, while a red burst surrounded him.
His Minor Hero Aura imdiately broke and vanished.
"One," Kyle said.
The Fulfilled Crushers couldn't react, and a second illusory hamr appeared behind another one of them.
CRKSH!
The second Fulfilled Crusher died, and another red burst surrounded Kyle.
His mind beca less focused as his Second Blessing of Karmic Luck broke.
"Two," Kyle said.
At that mont, the remaining three Fulfilled Crushers shot into the distance.
They had to run!
Another illusory hamr appeared in front of one of the retreating Fulfilled Crushers.
The Fulfilled Crusher was prepared and launched an attack, destroying the illusory hamr.
CRKSH!
Yet, a second illusory hamr appeared behind him, killing him instantly.
Another red burst, and Kyle felt his First Blessing of Karmic Luck breaking.
"Three," he transmitted.
BANG!
Kyle shot forward, his speed faster than the speeds of the last two.
He directly went for the closer of the two, who gritted his teeth, stopped, and pulled out a shield.
Kyle couldn't kill the last two with illusory hamrs since they had Complex Body Laws.
The Fulfilled Crusher hid behind his shield while keeping an eye out for that terrifying illusory hamr.
Kyle reached him and swung his hamr forward.
There was no illusory hamr.
This hamr was very much solid and real.
BOOOOM!
Kyle's hamr broke through the shield like paper and turned the Fulfilled Crusher into a cloud of blood and guts.
Another red burst, and Kyle felt a slight feeling of unease.
The First Curse of Karmic Luck, reduced luck.
"Four," Kyle transmitted to the last person before chasing after him.
The last person was the fastest, and it took Kyle almost four entire seconds to catch up to him.
"Please, no! I'm sorry! Please, spare !" he transmitted as he fell to his knees.
However, Kyle just snorted and swung his hamr.
The man turned into a cloud of blood, and another red burst surrounded Kyle.
Kyle's face twitched a bit as he suddenly felt like a hot needle was entering his head.
The Second Curse of Karmic Luck.
Yet, Kyle just smirked and put his hamr over his shoulders again.
Ten Fulfilled Crushers. Dawnlight had ten Fulfilled Crushers.
And today, Kyle had killed six of them, including their most powerful Fulfilled Crusher.
Dawnlight had been crippled.
Its foundation was still unshakable due to their powerful Head, but it had lost an arm.
The headache constantly assaulted Kyle's senses, but right now, he couldn't be happier.
He had done what he wanted, and it felt good!
The Karmic Laws said that he had done the wrong thing?
'Then, fuck them!' Kyle thought. 'I'm not doing what you think is right, but what I think is right!'
Then, Kyle noticed sothing.
Far in the distance, Kyle could see a person.
It was a stalwart man with black and white hair. On his waist, he carried a single black sword. The man's eyes were filled with conviction and severity as he looked at the distant Kyle.
His speed was far superior to Kyle's.
As Kyle saw the man, he realized one thing.
'Nope, not going to win. Literally impossible,' he thought.
'But I don't have to win.'
The Head of Dawnlight stopped in front of Kyle, looking at him with narrowed eyes.
"You could've escaped," he comnted.
"Yep," Kyle said with a smile.
A couple of seconds passed, during which the Head tried to find out why Kyle hadn't run away.
He knew that his opponent couldn't possibly win against him.
So, why was he here?
Suddenly, Kyle summoned the five fruits he had gotten from Crimson Inferno. "I just got a question. What are these things?"
The Head looked at Kyle with an evaluating gaze.
"Those are my Space Comprehension Fruits," he said as he pulled out his sword, "and I will pull them off your dead hands."
"Ah, cool," Kyle answered casually as a lot of white Energy surrounded him.
When the Head saw the white Energy, he beca careful. The white Energy was filled with advanced concepts of the Space Laws.
Was this how this guy had killed his Treasury Elder?
The Head beca careful and readied himself for an attack.
anwhile, Kyle just waved at the Head.
"Thanks for answering the question! See you later!"
The Head realized that the Energy wasn't forming an attack but a teleportation!
But how?! There couldn't be any Sages here, and Crushers couldn't teleport! The teleportation system of the Array of Stars also couldn't extend into the Secondary Sector for political reasons! There were only fixed Teleportation Formation Arrays one could use!
The Head launched an attack at Kyle's smirking face, but the white Energy distorted the attack, and it harmlessly ca out from behind Kyle…
Or, more precisely, from where Kyle had been.
The Head looked around, but he just couldn't find Kyle.
He was gone!
How?!
How had he escaped?!
