Naturally, of the Big Four, only Dawnlight was basically an eligible target. Sure, he could also target the other ones, but why? They hadn't done anything to him… yet. If there were so kind of incident in which the Unique Crusher from one of them tried to kill him for whatever reason, things might change.
But all of that had to wait.
For now, Kyle wanted to focus on his new Complex Law.
Getting an extra Complex Law would increase his power by quite a bit, and he could also beco an actual Fulfilled Crusher. At that point, he would no longer be completely helpless. Yes, fighting a Unique Crusher would still kill him with a very high probability, but it wouldn't be 100% anymore.
Kyle summoned the Essences of his three Elental Level Three Laws.
Minor Wind, Minor tal, and Minor Fire.
He had already started fusing his Essences, but he hadn't gotten very far before this entire thing with Dawnlight started.
'Luckily, my friends won't think that I'm dead if I don't contact them for a while,' Kyle thought. 'There's a public list with all the criminals, and if one of them dies, they will be taken off. As long as I'm still on the list, they know that I am most likely still alive.'
Kyle resud fusing the Essences of his Laws and lost himself in his Law Comprehension.
This ti, he wasn't fusing two at a ti but all three at once since he didn't need the practice anymore.
These were only Level Three Laws, and the aspects affecting his speed of Law Comprehension were about as powerful as they could get.
Kyle's Montum had reached the absolute maximum of what a Crusher could have. In fact, it was even higher, but he could only use as much as his Realm allowed him to use.
Kyle was also already an Advanced Crusher, which gave him far more Energy. Naturally, that also helped with Law Comprehension.
Kyle also had a lot of previous experience with understanding Complex Laws. He had already created two of them, and they had been created when he had been in a lower Realm.
He knew the four Laws of Aspects, which also helped him.
He was familiar with comprehending Laws by feeling them, but he was also very good at consciously analyzing them by finding patterns and using logic.
The only thing that wasn't up to par was his Karmic Luck. So of the Karmic Blessings helped with Law Comprehension.
However, Kyle had sothing else that could make up for that weakness.
'Why is this so easy?' Kyle thought as he combined a couple more strands. 'I know that my Montum increased by quite a bit since the last ti I've done this, but that won't increase my comprehension speed by this much.'
'Is it my Complex Mind Law?' Kyle thought. 'I an, it would make sense, right? A Complex Body Law makes the body stronger. Why wouldn't a Complex Mind Law also strengthen the mind?'
Kyle was correct in his assumption. A Complex Mind Law strengthened the mind, which made it faster and made it easier for him to focus.
Another benefit, which Kyle hadn't noticed yet, was that a Complex Mind Law also fortified the mind. A Seeker with a Complex Mind Law was much more resilient towards illusions. It was also easier for such a Seeker to deal with constant pain.
In its rawest form, physical pain just existed in the mind. The signals the nerves sent represented physical pain, but without the mind's interpretation of these signals, pain didn't exist. One's mindset and thoughts had a large impact on one's perception of pain.
A hopeful person with a goal could deal with physical pain pretty well since they didn't focus on it. They were more occupied with working towards achieving their goal.
anwhile, the pain a lethargic person felt would often be pushed to the front. The person felt the pain, and since they were not focusing on sothing else, it took up a majority of their focus.
Of course, these statents didn't always hold true, but on average, they were quite accurate.
Kyle had sothing to work toward, and combined with all of the other things he had experienced and gained, he didn't even notice the constant pain of the Second Curse of Karmic Luck.
The Second Curse of Karmic Luck was a huge issue for almost every Seeker who suffered from it. It was a constant, brutal headache that ca in waves. In such a situation, the Seeker needed to use much more focus on dealing with the pain, leaving less focus for Law Comprehension and other things.
As Kyle combined more and more strands, ti started to pass in the outside world.
Kyle had been right when he had moved to a different Planet. Shortly after he had left, several people had arrived to look through the entire Planet, but they hadn't found Kyle.
As ti passed, everyone returned to what they had been doing.
Yet, things didn't exactly return to normal.
Dawnlight had been weakened considerably. From ten Fulfilled Crushers, they had fallen to four. On top of that, they had also lost one of their two extrely powerful Advanced Crushers. The Seeker Refinents that Dawnlight had sent out to different powers were no longer safe bets. While their remaining Fulfilled Crushers were not weak, they couldn't win one-on-one battles with other Fulfilled Crushers without entering a True Battle.
This made it much riskier for Dawnlight to send Seeker Refinents to powers that also had Fulfilled Crushers.
The Organizations around them still couldn't resist them, which ant more tribute and Karmic Luck for Dawnlight, but Dawnlight also couldn't expand as easily anymore.
The Seeker Refinent was a way to weaken another power without needing to waste Karmic Luck. As soon as the most powerful Seekers of the other power were dead, they very often just directly capitulated and joined Dawnlight.
Now, they actually needed to attack an entire Organization without the other party accepting a declaration of battle.
Earlier, they would have killed the five or so most powerful Seekers of the other party without a penalty to their Karmic Luck. Now, they had to kill them with a penalty.
The more powerful the Seeker, the more they were worth in terms of Karmic Luck.
In fact, the price of destroying another Organization without a prior Seeker Refinent was almost twice as high.
Of course, the other mbers of the Big Four noticed Dawnlight's weakness and took advantage of the situation.
Diplomatic relations beca less frequent, and prior agreents suddenly had to be anded.
The other powers also expanded their territories more towards Dawnlight's territory.
Usually, the Big Four avoided sharing borders with each other, but now, the other three were no longer as afraid.
Despite all of this, Dawnlight would continue to exist. Their Head was simply too powerful. The only way to get rid of Dawnlight was to enter an actual war with them, and that would cost both sides.
For now, the benefits didn't outweigh the costs and risks.
It was not ti yet for a Great Fart Battle.
