'I knew this would happen at so point,' Kyle thought as he read through the declaration of battle.
Na: The Great Conquerors.
mbers: 15. Four Fulfilled Crushers. Eleven Advanced Crushers.
'Pretty weak for such an imposing na,' Kyle thought. 'Also, why are they even trying to fight ? Not even the Four Tigers Sect wants to fight .'
Options: War, non-lethal duel, tribute, refusal, assimilation.
'Ah, I see,' Kyle thought. 'They want to win my allegiance in a duel. I could win against one of them and take all of their resources if I accept the battle. They probably think that I can't win in a duel without my Formation Arrays.'
Kyle sighed. 'Just sucks that I can't accept the duel. If I accept the duel, a referee from the Contrast Empire will appear. That guy would be a Sage, and he would definitely recognize my true identity.'
'Refusal and tribute are not an option. I can't lose even more Karmic Luck, and I need all my money. Also, I don't want to join them.'
'Yeah, well, war it is,' he thought as he sent his answer.
The declaration of battle flew into the distance again, and Kyle-
People were approaching!
Kyle blinked a couple of tis as his Sensing Formation Arrays told him that several people were approaching at insane speeds. Most likely, they were using a spaceship.
'Oh, they were already waiting just outside my territory,' Kyle thought. 'They probably wanted to catch off-guard.'
The 15 Crushers jumped out of the spaceship and imdiately readied their weapons.
By the looks of things, they wanted to do the exact thing Kyle had prepared for.
They wanted to bombard his Planet from a distance to force him out.
His Planet was humongous, but under a constant barrage of attacks, it would slowly crumble. It would take a long ti to destroy such a massive Planet by creating one hundred-kiloter crater after another, but Crushers had enough ti on their hands.
'Think you're smart, huh?' Kyle thought as he narrowed his eyes.
anwhile, the Head of the Great Conquerors ordered his people to launch attacks.
Within monts, tens of devastating attacks rained down on the Planet, blowing gigantic craters into it.
"As long as we force him out, he won't have the help of his Formation Arrays," the Head transmitted to his people as he conjured several bolts of tallic lightning.
Despite their low mber count, the Great Conquerors still managed to survive in the Secondary Sector. The primary reason was their Head. He had a Level 4.5 Infused Center Law, which consisted of Gravity Lightning and Gravity tal.
Soone like that could fight several Fulfilled Crushers at the sa ti.
After launching a round of attacks, the Great Conquerors saw Azure Cot charging out of his Planet.
When they saw that, arrogant smirks appeared on their faces.
Sure enough, Azure Cot fell for their trap.
Today, they would beco rich without having to sacrifice a single mber!
"Redirect your attacks! Kill him!" the Head ordered.
All the mbers attacked Azure Cot. As expected, Azure Cot wasn't very powerful without his Formation Arrays. The speeds at which he was traveling were subpar.
Most Fulfilled Crushers could move at speeds of 3,000 kiloters per second, while the Head of the Great Conquerors could even move at speeds of over 4,000 kiloters per second.
anwhile, Azure Cot was moving at about 2,000 kiloters per second.
Yet, due to the great distance between the two parties, Azure Cot still managed to avoid the attacks.
However, the Great Conquerors just kept attacking. At so point, Azure Cot would get closer, and then, their attacks would hit.
Sadly, Azure Cot still wasn't hit by their attacks, despite getting closer.
'Seems like he's not completely worthless as a fighter,' the Head thought. 'His speed rose to 3,000 kiloters per second. He probably kept his true speed hidden to surprise us.'
The Head smirked. 'But that's not enough!'
Their attacks intensified.
As they kept missing more and more attacks, the Great Conquerors grew serious.
By now, Azure Cot was traveling at speeds of over 4,000 kiloters per second. He was as fast as their Head.
They no longer took this battle lightly.
'Alright, I'm close enough,' Kyle thought. 'If I had charged at them with my full speed, they would have imdiately jumped into their spaceship to fuck off.'
Kyle's Azure Energy gathered behind him as his surroundings warped.
Kyle's speed shot to 6,000 kiloters per second in an instant as he employed the full power of his Infused Center Law and Infused Body Law.
When the Great Conquerors saw that, their eyes widened.
What was this speed?!
Then Kyle spent a bunch of Energy compressing the space between him and his targets. Since he didn't have a Space Affinity, this move cost him a significant chunk of his Energy Reserves.
But it did the trick, and his relative speed climbed even more.
Finally, Kyle moved in an arc, resembling the swing of his hamr.
When he did that, over 10% of his Energy Reserves vanished, but it was worth the investnt.
Kyle's true speed rose to 8,000 kiloters per second as he shot through compressed space.
The Great Conquerors couldn't believe what they were witnessing.
"He has to be a Unique Crusher! Retreat!" the Head ordered.
An instant later, a spaceship appeared around them, and-
BANG!
An illusory hamr destroyed the spaceship in an instant. The Great Conquerors had already entered Kyle's range.
The Great Conquerors beca mortified as they realized that they couldn't flee.
"Stop! We concede!" the Head shouted in terror, putting his weapon away.
Kyle snorted, and an illusory hamr appeared behind the Head.
CRKSH!
The Head's body turned into bloody mist, and all the other mbers looked at the mist in horror.
They had conceded!
There was no reason to kill them!
Azure Cot could force them into compliance and enslave them for several centuries! Why would anyone refuse free labor without any downsides?!
Even if he didn't want their labor, he could just let them go for a significant chunk of Karmic Luck, and even if he didn't need Karmic Luck, he could also exchange their freedom for a big chunk of their wealth!
There was no point in killing them!
Killing them was literally wasting money!
BANG! BANG!
The other two Fulfilled Crushers were turned into a bloody mist.
The Advanced Crushers tried to flee, but Kyle reached them in an instant and incinerated all of them with his Azure Energy.
The upper managent of the Great Conquerors was eradicated.
'I would've loved so servants,' Kyle thought. 'I could've employed them to buy materials for in the outside world. Sucks that I have to keep my identity secret. If anyone finds out about my true power, they are bound to connect Azure Cot to Descending Mountain.'
Kyle saw a small burst of red as his Karmic Luck lowered a bit. However, it didn't drop much.
The Great Conquerors had attacked first, and Kyle had the right to kill them. Yet, according to the Laws of Karmic Luck, Kyle had gone a slight bit overboard by killing every single one, even though they had conceded.
He hadn't broken any rules, but Karmic Luck believed that he had been a bit of an ass.
While this was happening, mountains of resources and wealth appeared before Kyle. Naturally, these Seekers were not beggars. They were powerful mbers of a big Organization.
'And now, all of this belongs to ,' Kyle thought.
