After so more planning, the team got white uniforms, which represented new mbers. When they reached their assigned bases, they would be told about the rules and receive their actual uniforms.
The Spirit Lord went back to the Seekers and forced them to swear an oath to keep certain things they had seen here secret. After all, this concerned Ayuvar's future.
A mont later, the Unique Sage created six sealed emblems and handed them to the team. These emblems contained orders and information, and only the leader of a base could decode and access the emblem. This was standard procedure for every newcor.
Finally, the Unique Sage summoned six people out of the groups and ordered them to escort the team to their new hos.
"Well then," Kyle transmitted to the others. "Let's get to work. I'll write you guys when I find so ti."
"Let's try our best," Star Genesis transmitted. "If I find anything useful, I will tell you."
"I'll try to get the position of Guide as soon as possible," Swamp Dragon transmitted. "This way, communication will be easier and safer."
"I'm gonna take a look at the Elental Dinsion in the Abyss and inform you guys," Sebastian transmitted.
"I'll be busy battling and working on my power," Fierce Breaker transmitted. "If I find anything peculiar, I'll tell you."
"I'll be gathering information," Manny transmitted, "but don't expect too many ssages in the beginning. I'll go through all Refinents as quickly as possible to join Humanity."
The mbers of the team looked at each other for a while, saying their goodbyes.
Then, they all flew in different directions with their escorts.
As Kyle flew into the distance, he sighed. 'So much for staying together. Well, we'll be together in spirit. We might not be physically close, but we're all working towards the sa goal. Maybe this is for the better. The mood has been a bit sour.'
"Relevant inquiry: Can you teleport?" Kyle's escort, a Seeker from the Shields, suddenly asked.
"Relevant inquiry?" Kyle asked.
"Rule number 13 of the Shields: During a mission, casual conversation is to be kept to a minimum. To minimize the risk of misunderstandings, the start of mission-critical conversations has to be marked. Answer the inquiry," the Seeker in grey transmitted.
'They're pretty tight on communication, huh? Guess this entire thing will be a bit dry.'
"Yes, I can teleport," Kyle answered.
"Order: Follow my spatial trail. We will teleport to save ti," the grey Seeker transmitted.
"Sure," Kyle answered.
The next mont, the grey Seeker teleported. Kyle simply watched the Space Energy, which told him where the grey Seeker had teleported to.
Kyle teleported to the grey Seeker, who teleported again.
After a couple of teleports, they got their speeds synchronized.
Holding a conversation was basically impossible since they only montarily popped in and out of their perceptions.
Kyle went through countless teleportations over the next few hours, but there was seemingly no end in sight.
'Don't tell we're going to travel the entire way on foot. Do they not have Teleportation Formation Arrays here?' Kyle thought before realizing sothing. 'Right! The Spatial Laws are broken! They probably can't make Teleportation Formation Arrays since you need the major Law of Space to make one!'
'I guess this will take a while. Well, at least I get to see Ayuvar,' he thought as his perception stretched across the world.
The first thing that Kyle realized was that this was one world, as in, there were no individual Planets. As far as he could tell, Ayuvar was just one surface. He just wasn't sure if it was flat or round.
The next thing he noticed was the culture. Even though he only saw snippets of different parts of the world, after seeing enough individual pictures, he could see how the people in Ayuvar behaved and operated.
At first glance, this world seed very normal, but after seeing countless snippets of it, Kyle could tell that it wasn't.
There were Mortal Empires, big companies, Guilds, Sects, cities, auctions, restaurants, so wars, beasts, and all the other things one would expect to see.
Yet, almost every area Kyle saw was threatened by sothing, fighting sothing, or recovering from sothing. In one area, the Empires were currently uniting to fight so kind of mythical beast. In another one, their warriors were being celebrated after they took down a monster. In yet another one, a beast tide was currently threatening to ravage the lands.
There was always sothing, and most peculiar of all, the threat was always non-human.
'These threats are artificial but also real,' Kyle thought as he saw the 27th occasion of a powerful beast rampaging through a city. 'Humanity is probably training the Mortals by putting them under pressure. Most of these threats can only be stopped by Transcendents.'
'Because of the constant threat, almost all the Empires also have a war-like culture that values strength and courage while disparaging pacifism and cowardice. People without talent are deed worthless, while lazy people are ostracized.'
'These threats are also not easy to overco. I'm actually surprised that so many Empires are still fighting. I saw their opponent, and it's difficult for to find a way for the Empires to survive. Without a talented and hardworking hero, they won't survive.'
'I guess that's how Humanity gets so many powerful recruits.'
While traveling through Ayuvar, Kyle also saw countless gigantic forests, filled with beasts. Yet, he didn't see a single Primal, Crusher, or Sage Beast. This ant that Humanity was culling the beasts that beca too powerful.
'There are also barely any powerful ores or treasures in the wilds. There's stuff that's useful for Transcendents, but I can't see anything that would interest a Primal. I guess Transcendents are directly recruited by Humanity and sent to so kind of bootcamp. Most of them probably end up with the Shields, while the talented few get sent to the other camps.'
'Although what's most surprising is the absence of advanced technology. It's not difficult for powerful Mortals to co up with computers, but I've yet to see a single phone or car. I guess there's so kind of thod Humanity uses to keep technology suppressed. I wonder why. Is there a reason behind it?'
After teleporting a couple more tis, Kyle saw two groups of Primals killing each other. All of them wore the sa uniform as Kyle, which ant they were Humanity's recruits.
'This is probably how Humanity improves its recruits' Montum. Just let two groups of people with similar levels of power kill each other. It also teaches teamwork.'
Kyle kept teleporting, and after over a week of teleporting constantly, he didn't see anything new or surprising anymore.
'It's actually crazy how big an entire lightyear is. I've probably seen millions of Empires that are thousands of kiloters big, and I've only traveled a bit more than a lightweek.'
'The number of Sages Ayuvar produces is probably crazy. They might literally get a new Sage every minute or even second.'
'And yet, they're still fighting the Demons,' Kyle thought as he looked into the distance. 'I've only seen two other Sages during this week of travel, and they were also just traveling.'
'So many new Sages, but I'm barely seeing any.'
'Most likely, if one new Sage is born every second...'
'One Sage also dies every second.'
"Relevant statent: We will arrive in ten seconds," the Seeker in grey transmitted.
