"Even though we're no longer friends, I'm still glad that Swamp Dragon is here!" Kyle thought. "We're all chasing the sa goal, and he's helping a lot. He also said that he would try to create a Refined Law in the future, which he can give to Humanity to strengthen them."
Kyle closed Swamp Dragon's ssage before opening the one from Star Genesis.
Once again, she wrote a very long and detailed report on Inner World's Formation Arrays.
In a way, Star Genesis felt like her skills in setting up Formation Arrays had degraded over the last centuries, but that was just an illusion, and she knew that. The Formation Arrays she was learning were just way more complicated.
She also ntioned that she hadn't made any progress on the topic of Sacred Weaponry. Apparently, she still needed to learn much more about Formation Arrays before she was even allowed to experint with them.
The ssage from Manny was very short.
"I'm still gathering information. I won't talk about the details here."
That was it.
Then, Kyle opened Fierce Breaker's ssage. Apparently, Fierce Breaker had beco a Minor Sage, and he was talking a lot about how the frontlines worked. Kyle already knew almost all of these things, but the others probably didn't.
Finally, Kyle opened Sebastian's ssage, and once again, it was quite long.
"I've done what you told to do, Manny. Here are your pictures. It took a long ti and was a lot of work."
Kyle looked at the great number of attachnts before opening the first one.
The attachnt was an image of a humongous Formation Node, which had several Connections coming out of it.
Then, he looked at the other attachnts.
There were over a thousand, and almost all of them were pictures of different Nodes.
In another attachnt, Kyle saw the coordinates of all the different Nodes. Another file talked about the results of several experints. The last attachnt was a diagram, highlighting the locations of all the Nodes and Connections.
"Sebastian must have followed almost every Connection to its source. He even managed to create a layout of the Formation Array!"
Kyle looked at the diagram for a bit, but he quickly realized that he didn't know enough about Formation Arrays to paint a clear picture.
"The only thing I know for sure is that this is not just one Formation Array but several. I can also tell that not all of them are connected or working together. This ans this is not one big machine, but a group of smaller machines. So, they're not working towards achieving one goal but several."
"I can already estimate what so of them do. One is definitely operating the huge barrier, while another one is acting as its Energy Source. One of them is probably also responsible for warping the Primordial Forces."
"The Overseer doesn't have the power to change the Laws, but they don't need to. They just need to stop humans from comprehending certain Fragnts. Even I could co up with a Formation Array that can solidify Space Energy inside its area of operation. That would make it much harder to manipulate and experint with Space Energy. If I could then upscale the Formation Array to the size of Ayuvar, I would be able to suppress almost all manipulation of Space Energy across the entire world."
"If we can find out how these Formation Arrays work, we might be able to find a way to circumvent them. That won't give us access to the Elental Laws, but we could comprehend the Primordial Force Laws. If we do it right..."
Kyle quickly created a plan in his mind.
"We could either beco Three-Infused Ascendants or use them to beco Major Ascendants. Sadly, we can't have both, which ans we also need other Laws."
"But it's a start. If we can beco Major Ascendants, as long as we're not corrupting our foundation, we can also beco Advanced Ascendants. Becoming a Fulfilled Ascendant also isn't difficult. Almost every Advanced Ascendant becos a Fulfilled Ascendant. I an, creating an Avatar is literally what you need to do to beco a Fulfilled Ascendant, and everyone creates at least one Avatar!"
"If we can beco Fulfilled Ascendants, we might also be strong enough to kill the Overseer after we advance. It's just that getting there is very hard."
Kyle shook his head. "I'm thinking too far ahead. There are more important things to worry about."
Kyle finished reading Sebastian's ssage, which was just him asking for more advice on what to investigate. For now, he wasn't planning on bringing his Elental to the other side of the Barrier. First, he needed to know what all of these Formation Arrays did.
"I'll leave analyzing these Formation Arrays to Star Genesis, but that might take a long ti. If we could share the layout of the Formation Arrays with Humanity, we might be able to crack them quickly, but if the information leaks, the Overseer will realize that we have soone who can go to the Elental Dinsion."
"It sucks, but we have to do all the work ourselves. It's risky enough that Sebastian shared all the information via this channel!"
"I should also send a ssage, even if there's not a lot to talk about."
"Could you deliver a ssage from ?" Kyle asked.
"Yes," Major Sovignor transmitted.
Kyle wrote a quick ssage and transmitted it to Major Sovignor.
"Hey, I'm fine. I'm training. Didn't comprehend anything yet. I'm kinda just improving everything. Nothing too big has happened."
That was the ssage.
Major Sovignor nodded. "I will deliver your ssage as soon as there's an opportunity."
"Thank you," Kyle answered. "Anyway, there's nothing I want for my Military rits right now."
"Nothing?" Major Sovignor asked. "You have a substantial number of rits. You should use them to improve so of your powers."
"Can I purchase access to a Level Five Law Well?" Kyle asked.
"Sadly not."
"Can I purchase one of each Spaceti tal?"
"You do not have enough rits."
"Do you have thods that can help comprehend the Major Law of Mind or Center?"
"I see your point," Major Sovignor transmitted with a sigh. "In that case, I am forced to issue a new order to you. If I just keep you here, sobody might notice."
"It's fine," Kyle answered. "I want to enter battle anyway. I need to improve my power, and fighting Demons is the best way to improve it without access to these other things."
"Good. Then, what order would benefit you most?" Major Sovignor asked.
"The Demons will soon start targeting ," Kyle transmitted. "If I'm stuck in one place, it makes it easier for them. I would prefer to be a Decimator, but I want to patrol a Fort in the V-range. I also don't want my kill-target to be as high as last ti, since I will mostly focus on fighting dium Sage Demons. I also don't want the local Commander to know that I can kill these Demons on my own."
"I can accommodate your wishes," Major Sovignor transmitted. "Black Sin Hamr 37, here are your orders: You will be stationed in Fort V-2550 until you die or beco an Advanced Sage."
Kyle nodded and left without saying anything else.
