Jason couldn’t help but be impressed by this Jucal Varga, but Jason decided that he could think about the mysterious mage so other ti. Jason closed down his system tabs, and he finally turned his attention back to the others in the room.

The other people in the room had been waiting for Jason to say sothing for close to five minutes now, and Cerci was the only one who looked like he was still willing to wait even longer. Devon was staring at Jason like Jason had gone crazy since he was just standing there silently, and Oswald was rocking on his feet while frowning slightly. But once they all saw Jason turning to them again, they quickly focused and listened as Jason handed Devon the frequency reader while speaking.

"The frequency you’re looking for is in the 74Hz range. You couldn’t read it because the calibration was wrong."

Devon looked down at the reader, and she saw the ’23Hz’ written there, and she was confused about what Jason was talking about. But Jason just told her that the frequency she had was a result of destructive interference between a frequency he created and the frequency of the ntal skill.

"There’s sothing called the Energy Interference Algorithm that allows you to rewrite a frequency to match a particular Energy. It’s pretty common in other worlds, but scientists here on Earth don’t really know it."

Devon and Oswald both looked completely confused by what Jason was saying, and if not for the fact that he was always in control of his expression, Cerci would’ve also had the sa look of surprise on his face. Jason saw all this, and he realised in that mont exactly what Rak’hael had been thinking when she created all those academies.

’There’s no way the scientists here can keep up with the rest of the Primordial Expanse if they’re lagging behind so much. If we can’t understand the Primordial Expanse, then there’s no way we can rule it.’

Jason gave Devon and Oswald a polite smile before he told them that they didn’t need to worry about it. Devon asked Jason to please tell her more about the Energy Interference Algorithm, and Jason just told her he would send soone to give her the equation later. Jason called on Cerci as he started walking out, and Cerci told the two scientists that they did a good job before Cerci followed Jason out. Once Jason and Cerci were far enough from the other scientists in the research lab, Jason spoke.

"We need to create a new Academy."

Cerci blinked in surprise, and he turned to Jason to ask.

"What are you talking about? We have Core City."

"That’s not enough. Core City is a kindergarten compared to what’s out there. The other worlds around us have schools where researchers learn to bend magic to their will and train to beco the best mages in the Primordial Expanse. All we have is a daycare that protects superhumans until they can control their limited gifts. We need a new Academy. But before that, we need to find a way to break through the humans’ limits."

Jason stared Cerci down with an intense frown as he continued.

"Cerci, I need you to listen to very carefully right now. I am giving you so degree of freedom in terms of human experintation. You’re free to try and find a way to break through the magic limits placed on us. But there are conditions. Firstly, no children. You aren’t taking anyone below eighteen into this lab. Secondly, only admit people who agree to be experinted on willingly. If I catch a whiff of you taking people forcefully, I’ll bury you. Thirdly, no one can die or suffer irreversible damage to their ntal, magical, or physical state. I’m asking you to be a researcher, not a mad scientist. I know there’ll be accidents, but make sure they are kept at a reasonable level. Do you understand?"

Cerci took in a deep breath and let it out with a smile before nodding! This was exactly what Cerci had been hoping for all this ti, and Cerci knew that Jason allowing him to carry out the experints would advance their research by leaps and bounds! Although it was unfortunate that Cerci couldn’t use children. Children who had just awakened their superhuman abilities were the best test subjects to try and understand why there were limiters on humanity in the first place. But Cerci wouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Getting an eighteen-year-old was good enough!

Jason could see just how pleased Cerci was from the look in his eyes, and Jason felt a little irritated by this decision. But Jason didn’t have any choice but to allow this. Earth needed to grow, and Cerci was soone who could do that for them. Jason had to allow Cerci to do what he did best.

Jason and Cerci reached the elevator, and Jason told Cerci that he would be leaving first.

"What are you planning to do now?"

Cerci asked this, and Jason frowned and said.

"I have a lead to follow about this case, so I’ll be tracking that first. I’ll be in North Korea in case you need ."

"North Korea? You want to et with the Supre Leader? Wait... was he involved with this?"

Jason’s face squeezed slightly, and that was the only response Cerci needed! Cerci had been wondering for a while now how the Machina were able to find out that Jason was vacationing in Texas! There was a very limited number of people who knew about Jason’s whereabouts, and the world leaders were so of those people. That ant that the only way the Machina would’ve learned about where Jason was vacationing was if one of the world leaders told them about it! Cerci asked Jason what he would do to the Supre Leader, but Jason ignored his question and simply said:

"Hold on to the Machina soldiers that you captured. I might need them soti in the future."

Jason didn’t bother waiting for Cerci’s response, as Jason simply sank into the shadows and vanished from the Gaia base.

....

[North Korea]

[The Palace of The Supre Leader]

’Sorry, the number you are trying to reach does not exist.’

"What the fuck do you an it doesn’t exist!"

The Supre Leader scread as he threw his phone against the wall!

Smash!

The phone broke into a million pieces across the ground, and the Supre Leader ran his hand through his hair as an anguished expression appeared on his face! What the hell was this!? Why weren’t they answering their phone! The Supre Leader had no idea that things would ever get this bad! If he knew things would turn out like this, then he would’ve never listened to that fool!

This had all started one month ago after the eting between Jason and the world leaders! The Supre Leader still rembered how angry he had been because of the humiliation he suffered at the hands of the other world leaders! As the man with one of the strongest military arsenals in the world, the North Korean Supre Leader had always felt like he was better than all the other countries! No country dared to go up against him, and he had developed a god complex that made his ego grow to sothing unbelievable! But at that eting, Jason had not only insulted him, but Jason had also made the Supre Leader’s authority seem like it didn’t matter! The Supre Leader felt an insatiable anger roaring through him after that eting ended, and even though he had agreed to work together with Jason because of the power that Jason had, there was no way the Supre Leader would be happy about it!

So when the Supre Leader had been called one day by a strange man who told him there was a way to get revenge on Jason, the Supre Leader had obviously been interested!
