The mountainside forest was silent, with only the sound of wind rustling through the leaves. Various unknown insects in the forest, perhaps sensing danger, had stopped chirping altogether. A wild rabbit cautiously poked its head out from a burrow at the base of a tree, vigilantly observing its surroundings. After ensuring there was no danger, it bounded out, hopped about thirty ters forward, then suddenly stopped alertly, perked its ears, and stared intently at a strange bush ahead. Suddenly, it turned around and darted back into its burrow.

The strange bush was moving, at a slow and steady pace—it was Luo Zheng. Luo Zheng was wearing a camouflage suit, and to better blend in, he had gathered many small branches along the way and stuck them onto the suit. Lying motionless on the ground, he truly resembled a bush at first glance, his camouflage highly sophisticated.

The enemy was extrely formidable, so Luo Zheng dared not let his guard down for even a mont. He stopped thirty ters away from the enemy's outpost and began crawling forward, using this thod of infiltration to avoid suspicion. Though the success rate was higher, it was slow and exhausting work.

Fortunately, they weren't pressed for ti. To achieve a surprise attack, they needed to silently eliminate the outpost. That's why Luo Zheng didn't let Zhou Gang and others act and went in person with Lan Xue and Ghost Hand. After crawling several ters closer, the distance to the target narrowed. Luo Zheng paused beside a big tree, vigilantly scanned the surroundings, and noticed Lan Xue and Ghost Hand were also approaching the enemy in the sa cautious manner.

This crawling infiltration thod relied entirely on the strength of one's hands and waist, consuming a lot of energy. Using legs would be less tiring, but the movents were too large and easily exposed. Only relying on one's hands to support and move forward, Luo Zheng took a breath and continued crawling slowly, like a boa silently stalking its prey in the jungle.

Several minutes later, Luo Zheng was even closer to the target. He paused to observe and found that the target was still hiding underneath a fallen tree, motionless. The fallen tree would take two people to wrap their arms around and appeared to have been struck down by lightning years ago. Its branches were gone, and its trunk had started to rot, covered with moss, and surrounded by shrubs, offering a high degree of concealnt but also blocking so lines of sight.

Luo Zheng infiltrated from the blind spot of the opponent's line of sight, crawling forward another ten ters or so. Just four or five ters from the target, Luo Zheng halted, held his breath, and slowly drew the Tiger Teeth dagger from his thigh. He glanced around, finding that Lan Xue and Ghost Hand were also closing in on the target. Delighted, Luo Zheng bit the dagger in his mouth and continued crawling forward cautiously.

This silent combat style tested a person's willpower and combat skills. Fortunately, Luo Zheng was strong in both aspects. The closer he crawled, the slower his pace. With well-trained enemies, any slight sound could alert them and ruin the operation. Having infiltrated so far, Luo Zheng absolutely wouldn't allow himself to fail. He preferred to spend more ti, keeping his eyes firmly on the target ahead, his face grave and focused, with a restrained killing intent.

Crawling forward another two ters, Luo Zheng sharply noticed the target had detected sothing, so he stopped and observed carefully. He found that the opponent rely turned to glance behind and didn't pay much attention, continuing to focus forward. Luo Zheng's chosen ambush route was on the side behind the enemy, shielded by the bushes.

After confirming the opponent hadn't noticed him, Luo Zheng gently pushed aside the bushes in front, began crawling slowly once more. Using his hands to support his body, he raised his chest slightly to prevent sound caused by rubbing against the ground from alerting the enemy. Moving about a foot forward, his body softly touched down again, and he took a breath and continued onward.

Silence enveloped the surroundings, even a few unknown insects began chirping happily. A few fallen leaves twirled down from above, landing lightly on the fallen tree, only to be carried away by the wind. Everything seed so serene and peaceful. Luo Zheng stopped less than two ters from his target, obstructed by the bushes. He couldn't see the enemy under the fallen tree, nor could the enemy see him. Luo Zheng perked up his ears to listen intently.

A minute later, Luo Zheng confird the target wasn't alerted. Suppressing his internal joy, he imdiately changed direction, crawling behind the target. Soon spotting the target's feet, Luo Zheng was delighted, advancing another foot. He took the Tiger Teeth dagger from his mouth, held it in a reverse grip in his hand, and coldly continued observing the target.

The target remained motionless, still lurking beneath the fallen tree. There wasn't much space below, just enough to hide a person, with the body obscured by the tree. Luo Zheng had two choices: climb over the fallen tree to attack from the front, risking exposure, or attack from behind, which, if executed poorly, could fail to kill the enemy imdiately, also risking exposure.

The tension surged, and Luo Zheng coldly fixed his gaze on the target. Gritting his teeth, he suddenly lunged forward, grabbed the target's feet, and dragged forcefully, pulling the target's body uncontrollably out. Suddenly attacked, the target instinctively raised its head to look, slamming it hard against the fallen tree with a dull thud.

Luo Zheng's forceful pull caused the target's head to hit the fallen tree with great intensity, leaving it dazed and unable to react as its body was completely dragged out. Luo Zheng pounced like lightning, clamping a hand over the opponent's mouth like an iron vise. With the other hand gripping the dagger in reverse, he swiftly slashed it across the opponent's throat.

A "sssk" sound followed as the sharp dagger sliced open a large gash in the throat. Fresh air rushed into the throat, instantly causing pulmonary emphysema, and fresh blood surged up the windpipe, blocking the airways completely.

The target instinctively struggled fiercely, but Luo Zheng, now sitting on the opponent, held its jaw firmly to prevent any sound, immobilizing the head. After severing the opponent's neck, he rapidly checked the foe's hands, finding one reaching for a pistol. With a deft twist, he turned the Tiger Teeth dagger into a normal grip and sliced into the opponent's wrist artery like lightning.

"Thud!" The razor-sharp Tiger Teeth dagger easily severed the opponent's wrist artery, spraying a jet of blood. The opponent let out a silent scream, body stiffening, eyes wide open, staring at Luo Zheng, dying with eyes wide open.

Luo Zheng didn't expect the opponent to endure for about ten seconds after having the throat cut, quite remarkable. Alert, Luo Zheng scanned his surroundings, a chilling killing intent swelling in his eyes like a volcano about to erupt. Not spotting Lan Xue and Ghost Hand, he closed his eyes, suppressing the killing intent, and swiftly rolled off the target's corpse, stripping it of weapons.

On the battlefield, standing high ant exposure. Having killed and sat on the enemy was a forced necessity; remaining seated after could attract others' attention. Luo Zheng lay on the ground, cautiously surveying around. He suddenly heard a faint sound and, startled, looked in its direction. Discovering it was the enemy's headset, he hesitated briefly before removing it and placing it against his ear to eavesdrop.
