When Ghost Hand led over two hundred elite troops, including Hook, charging down the canyon, the smoke cleared to reveal body parts scattered everywhere, blood soaking the ground. Several bodies had been blown to pieces, impossible to reassemble. So weapons were so deford by the explosion they could no longer be used. Ghost Hand's stern gaze swept around, roughly estimating that at least fifty were blown up, aning a dozen or so survived and managed to escape.

"Hook, so have escaped; spread out and search in a fan shape," Ghost Hand ordered coldly.

"Understood." Hook licked his lips, looking excited; taking down over fifty elite soldiers made Hook very satisfied. He shouted a few local words, and the team quickly spread out, pursuing forward with howls and yells, their morale high after the victory.

Ghost Hand also pursued forward and soon discovered two people staggering ahead. They walked a few steps, shook their heads, apparently stunned by the explosion and not fully recovered yet. They didn't even know where their guns had gone. Ghost Hand was overjoyed, rushing up without hesitation, delivering a kick that sent one flying into a tree. The tree shook, leaves rustling down, and the man's body slid down the tree, spitting a mouthful of blood.

The other enemy realized the danger and tried to raise his gun to retaliate, but he was dazed, his limbs weak. Ghost Hand quickly knocked him out with a hand chop. After subduing the two enemies, Ghost Hand asked through the earpiece, "Captured two live ones, how do we deal with them?"

"Capture them and end the battle quickly," Luo Zheng's voice ca through the earpiece.

"Understood," Ghost Hand replied. Since the two survivors had run here, the others couldn't be far. He shouted to Hook loudly, "Speed up the search, make it quick."

Hook responded and shouted a few local words. Soon, in several places, survivors were found, all dizzy and unable to resist, easily subdued and tied up with vines. The team quickly retreated, grabbing all usable weapons and enemy equipnt from the explosion site. Ghost Hand peeled one open and saw they were wearing a Bullet-Resistant Vest, imdiately shouting to Hook, "Take their clothes, shoes, and bulletproof helts; your people could use them."

"Makes sense." Hook was overjoyed, excitedly directing everyone. They quickly stripped off the combat suits, Bullet-Resistant Vests, and more from the bodies. As for the corpses, it was assud that at-eating animals would soon be attracted by the blood scent to devour them.

With the spoils of war, the team swiftly returned to the mountainside. After regrouping with Luo Zheng and others, they continued retreating. Considering other enemies might co, Luo Zheng ordered a forced march. Soon, Mountain Eagle, who was scouting ahead, reported through the earpiece the approach of a ten-man unknown squad.

Luo Zheng assud they were enemies, glanced at the terrain ahead, and realized that avoidance would an a detour of more than half an hour. The enemy numbers were few, and with a fierce deanor, he ordered, "Charge through, Hook, follow up."

"Yes." Mountain Eagle agreed. Hook's team followed behind, and hearing Luo Zheng's instructions, Hook pulled the bolt of his gun. With a few local words, the team's morale surged, and they accelerated their charge. Luo Zheng, Lan Xue, and Ghost Hand also pulled their gun bolts, striding forward.

Soon, gunfire erupted in the forward forest, where Mountain Eagle with Zhou Gang and five others had engaged the enemy. Set on a path of brave confrontation, Luo Zheng, holding his M4 rifle, charged forward with effort, soon spotting the hidden enemy. Mountain Eagle and the others, outnumbered and lacking firepower, could only shoot from cover.

"Charge!" Luo Zheng yelled, erging from cover. Everyone followed his lead, shouting and charging forward, their guns blaring, bullets raining like a storm. Hook led his n, charging like a pack of wolves, fiercely attacking the exposed enemy positions.

The battle was on, and lurking enemies, drawn by the scent of blood like sharks, could ambush at any mont. Luo Zheng dared not delay, resorting to reckless tactics to push through quickly. Others understood Luo Zheng's intentions, audaciously charging ahead with fierce attacks.

"Rat-tat-tat!" Hundreds of bullets poured out in tight barrages, turning the forest into chaos, silencing any that dared counter in such dense bullet rain.

The enemy, overwheld by the ferocious assault, scattered, unable to block, while Luo Zheng's group rushed through, breaking directly through their front, continuing the urgent march toward the canyon. The opposing squad was stunned, watching the high-spirited troop charge past like a pack of hungry wolves, too intimidated to pursue.

Over an hour later, they reached the hill behind the canyon, where a relatively open slope was piled with assorted supplies. Many tribe folks were enthusiastically moving them, thrilled, realizing the enemy had co to ransom people. Old Hook ran over with excitent, speaking to Hook.

After listening to his father, Hook turned to Luo Zheng and said, "The enemy behaved, sticking to the deal, and has already taken ten prisoners. They wanted to pick the prisoners themselves, which we refused, and they didn't insist. Do you think there's any trick?"

"Possible, maybe a high-ranking officer's son is among the prisoners. But it doesn't matter to us; as long as they give us the stuff, let everyone transport the supplies quickly," Luo Zheng replied indifferently. Seeing Scholar guarding the backside co over, he went up to et him.

The Scholar was about to salute, but Luo Zheng waved it off. With a knowing smile, the Scholar said, "Saluting on the battlefield makes it easy for enemies to target and snipe, nearly forgot that. By the way, I vaguely heard explosions earlier and saw you coming from that direction. Did you hit them, how'd it go?"

"We attacked a squad, gained a lot; of the ten prisoners, two died on the way, leaving eight. We haven't had a chance to interrogate them yet. How's your side?" Luo Zheng asked quietly.

"Not bad. We got a good sense of the surrounding terrain and their combat capabilities. They also showed us where the traps are set, and your idea of using virus from boiled feces—impressive! Maybe also a bullet sound? Their shooting accuracy is low, so it wouldn't interfere with their firing," the Scholar said with a chuckle.

"You sure that's possible?" Luo Zheng asked.

"It should be. We'd boil bullets together, but not for too long, and keep the temperature moderate; then take them out and dry them. We'd have to test it first to be sure," the Scholar laughed.

"Alright, give it a shot. If it works, have the others do the sa," Luo Zheng casually agreed. The battlefield is already the cruellest place, and nothing's off-limits; a little virus is no big deal.
