The repeated assaults from the enemy made Luo Zheng extrely angry. Looking at the dozen or so flashlights illuminating the path up the mountain from behind the trees at the mountain foot, Luo Zheng knew this was the enemy lighting the way for their advancing forces. Although wearing Night Vision Devices could make the path clear, encountering High-explosive Hand Grenades and RPG attacks might not kill but will definitely injure the eyes and render soone combat ineffective. The enemy wised up, removed their Night Vision Devices, and switched to flashlights for illumination.

Luo Zheng couldn't understand why the enemy chose to attack during a night, under such disadvantageous conditions, nor did he bother to think about it any further. The enemy had already started moving, necessitating action. His own n were digging defensive trenches and couldn't be pulled away; they had to rely on Hook's forces to fend off the enemy assault. Concerned about Hook's combat effectiveness, Luo Zheng looked at Hook and asked softly, "If your n go, can they hold them off?"

"At worst, we'll die. My brothers are holding onto their hatred, eager for revenge. I'll make arrangents right away," Hook responded wholeheartedly and was about to leave.

Luo Zheng grabbed Hook's arm. Hook looked at Luo Zheng in confusion. Luo Zheng explained with a bitter smile, "Aim from top to bottom, take advantage of the height. The enemy moves quickly. Have your n aim at the enemy's head when firing. With the advance, it might hit their chest or abdon. If the enemy retreats, don't aim at the head, but at their feet, so that the shot hits their back or head."

"Okay, got it." Hook was taken aback but quickly understood, agreed wholeheartedly, and left.

Soon, Hook's n lined up and advanced 50 ters, maintaining a 50-ter distance from the mountain base. In the dark, visibility was very low, the distance making it equally impossible to see the enemy. Luckily, the enemy used flashlights to illuminate the mountainside, allowing vague shadows of figures in the dark to be seen approaching. Although just outlines, they were close enough to trigger firing.

The battle escalated instantly, reaching a boiling point. Luo Zheng didn't expect nearly a hundred n had stealthily crept upwards, extending the attack front across the mountainside. Had he not decisively resolved to counterattack, the enemy might have closed in undetected. The pitch-black night was disadvantageous for combat but facilitated infiltration.

Watching the fierce exchange of fire between friend and foe, Luo Zheng's expression grew grimr. He quickly instructed Hook to bring up the rocket-carrying squads for vigilance on the other side of the summit, guarding against ambushes. As for the back mountain, Hook said it was a cliff over a river, making night attacks from that direction implausible. Guarding the other side would ensure safety.

Rocket numbers had dwindled with unknown future battles ahead. Conservation was necessary. These n set down the remaining rockets, grabbed their firearms, and dispersed coldly, rushing downhill under the cover of darkness, maneuvering to flank the other side.

The enemy's attack was extrely fierce and resolute, with more flashlights shining at the foot of the mountain. The illumination favored the allies by revealing enemy positions for precise shooting but disadvantaged Hook's n, as their combat effectiveness was not on the sa level. Fortunately, the height advantage allowed them to match the enemy evenly.

"Mountain Eagle, take your n and scatter to assist," Luo Zheng glanced at the eager Mountain Eagle and decisively ordered an assault. The enemy was too strong; the Hook Tribe's Ard alone couldn't hold for long.

Mountain Eagle agreed, waved his hand, and ten team mbers swiftly dispersed to both sides, each finding a spot to conceal themselves. Under the cover of darkness, they continuously hunted targets, firing once and then imdiately changing location, creating imnse pressure on the enemy. On the battlefield, snipers were akin to Death Gods, every shot a life taken. With ten snipers, adding Mountain Eagle made eleven, and with each firing ten tis, it's over a hundred lives. How many enemies could endure such a massacre?

Luo Zheng calmly observed the battle situation. With Mountain Eagle and his squad's involvent, the enemy's advance was swiftly suppressed. This suppression unleashed Hook Tribe's Ard combat potential, as they followed Luo Zheng's guidance in their aim and firing, increasing accuracy by twenty percent. Though not much, that twenty percent brought substantial fear to the enemy.

The enemy's assault slowed but showed no sign of stopping. Luo Zheng breathed a sigh of relief, glanced at the bookish team intensively digging trenches, an outline was forming but needed ti. Just then, gunfire and explosions echoed from the back mountain, changing Luo Zheng's expression as he looked at Lan Xue.

Lan Xue understood, nodded, and turned to sprint toward the other side of the mountain. Luo Zheng looked at Ghost Hand, who also understood, nodded, and chased after Lan Xue. Long-term fighting had fostered deep camaraderie, with an unspoken understanding amongst the team mbers. Lan Xue and Ghost Hand went to the back mountain to command, relieving so of Luo Zheng's tension. He spoke to Hook, "Tell the back mountain troops to accept command from my people."

"No problem." Hook imdiately contacted the back mountain squad through walkie-talkies, shouted so sentences in dialect, then nodded to Luo Zheng, indicating the arrangent was handled.

Luo Zheng smiled gratefully and said, "Thank you."

"Old friends are polite. I understand my capabilities. This level of battle is beyond my command. You won't harm ; listening to you benefits and teaches a lot about tactical command. Feel free to lead without worry. Whatever you need, tell . Our brothers will unconditionally support you," Hook hastily said.

"Alright, we're friends, brothers in the sa trench, surviving through unity. The enemy seems nurous, beyond our expectation. We can only defend from advantageous positions, awaiting daylight. If the summit is held, there's a chance for life; otherwise, we beco bones in this primitive forest. You're involved in this fight because of . Honestly, do you regret it?" Luo Zheng asked sincerely.

Hook thought for a while, nodded, then shook his head, saying, "Initially, no regrets. You're an ally and benefactor to our tribe. Helping you is gratitude, also destiny. After the tribe suffered enemy helicopter attacks, I regretted it. It's concerning for the tribe's survival. But seeing your team heavily struck, without abandoning us, choosing revenge for us, and equally yourselves, I no longer regret. Everyone faces death; dying gloriously in battle isn't bad," Hook said sincerely, his eyes clear.

"Thank you." Luo Zheng knew Hook spoke truthfully and smiled gratefully, pointing to the enemies at the mountain foot, continuing, "Look, the enemy is nurous, their assault sharp, yet blocked by your n. It shows your troops' combat skills are improving. Besides, who wins isn't certain. The terrain is challenging; they can't climb, except at great risk." With that, a sharp gaze turned toward the battlefield, emanating a confident fighting spirit like stars in the night sky, shining brightly and radiantly.
