Ninjas are extrely powerful, but their strength mostly lies in close combat. For Kaga ninjas, this kind of infiltration battle is very unfamiliar. There's no firepower cover, no alternating charges, and no offensive tactics—it's purely charging forward with speed and bravery. The speed of their assault is swift, but in front of those prepared, it is undoubtedly suicidal. With long-range sniping, mid-range bombardnt, and close-range shooting, no one escapes unscathed.
If the target had been a different defensive position, their speed and bravery might have led to success. But against the twenty snipers led by Luo Zheng, they stood no chance, and were all precisely shot down, completely wiped out. The battle ca suddenly and was over suddenly, lasting just a few minutes, with all seven or eight ninjas eliminated.
Luo Zheng looked at the ground full of corpses, with no wounded among them, and secretly breathed a sigh of relief, saying excitedly, "Good job, everyone. Excellent shooting skills. Mountain Eagle, what's the situation over there?"
"The battle is over here too. You all are impressive; we only finished after Shijing blocked them. All enemies were killed within three hundred ters. We're not sure if anyone slipped away because it's too dark to see clearly," Mountain Eagle explained.
"As long as they're taken out, it's fine. What's Shijing's casualty situation?" Luo Zheng pressed.
"That guy fought fiercely and desperately, got a little injured. The enemy had experts and injured eight of our n, killing thirteen. They imdiately fought desperately and engaged in close combat, which made fire support difficult," Mountain Eagle explained.
"Understood," Luo Zheng replied. He wasn't too concerned about how many of Shijing's n died; the main goal was to repel the enemy. Hearing Mountain Eagle's report, he smiled with satisfaction and arranged for a few people to clean the battlefield, ensuring the attacking ninjas were finished and recovering weaponry and ammunition. Not knowing what might happen next, it's always wise to be prepared.
Entering the living room, Luo Zheng glanced at the bewildered hostages, walked to the door, and saw that the police and gendars standing off in the distance hadn't launched an attack, so he was thoroughly relieved. Lan Xue quickly approached and said softly, "The enemy hasn't made any moves from the start; it seems they're not participating in this rescue mission. There's sothing odd here."
"From what Shijing Kong said, it seems the Pri Minister's Residence is giving Yuanfei Zuo a chance. If he succeeds, the credit is theirs, but if he fails, Yuanfei Zuo becos a scapegoat. In the recent battle, Yuanfei Zuo's core forces were thoroughly wiped out. Our task is complete, and now we need to figure out how to escape," Luo Zheng said seriously, looking into the distance, then at his watch, saying, "It's ti to execute the next step of the plan."
"Understood," Lan Xue nodded and said, "Yuanfei Zuo is definitely going to be scapegoated by the Pri Minister's Residence. After receiving Shijing Kong's grandson, we should benefit Hook. I think we can let Shijing Kong make a public appearance, to increase the authenticity of Hook's previous statents, letting the Japanese public know Shijing Kong is a scapegoat, and Yuanfei Zuo is the real culprit, forcing the Japan Pri Minister's Residence to quickly make a statent."
"Agreed, I'll handle it. You keep an eye on the lobby and call Hook for ," Luo Zheng instructed, and then said through his earpiece, "Ghost Hand, please bring Shijing Kong over."
Not long after, Hook hurried over from the monitoring room and, learning that Luo Zheng was starting to ask for his dues, was overjoyed. The Hook Tribe badly needed funds to purchase supplies and grow. At this mont, Shijing Kong also ca over, looking at Luo Zheng solemnly and said, "I still underestimated your strength. In fact, you don't need us to withstand Yuanfei Zuo's attacks."
"Definitely. We don't have much ti left. Next is rescuing your grandson and getting compensation for Hook's sake. You've done what you ought to; now it's my turn," Luo Zheng replied earnestly.
"Thank you, what do you need to do?" Shijing Kong asked gratefully.
"You appear with Hook and face the dia, attributing the attack on the Hook Tribe to Yuanfei Zuo's orders. As for whether he's under the Emperor's orders or the Pri Minister's orders, that's not for us to ntion; let them fight it out themselves. Any issues?" Luo Zheng advised seriously.
"None," Shijing Kong, a seasoned fox adept at scheming, imdiately understood Luo Zheng's intentions, agreeing earnestly. As long as his grandson is saved, everything else is no problem.
Luo Zheng looked at Hook, who thought for a mont and shook his head indicating no issues. Breathing a sigh of relief, Luo Zheng said, "Then go, claim what's rightfully yours."
The two departed together, and once they were far away, Luo Zheng said quietly through his earpiece, "Status of the nuclear submarine?"
"Already in position, ready to rescue at any ti," Lan Xing's voice crackled in the earpiece.
Feeling completely relieved, Luo Zheng watched the distant figures of Hook and Shijing Kong and smiled. Everything was going according to plan. Now that things had developed to this point, it was ti to prepare for withdrawal. Quickly, through his earpiece, he said, "Everyone, prepare for withdrawal. Snow Leopard, report status?"
"Ten planes are fully fueled, parachutes packed, no worries." Snow Leopard's voice ca through the earpiece.
"Brothers, keep your spirits up for the final task," Luo Zheng said earnestly.
"Understood." Everyone responded quietly, starting to eliminate traces left behind which were crucial to prevent leaving any hints at the airport during evacuation. So secretly brought aviation fuel in to burn and destroy the airport, covering up their retreat.
Hook and Shijing Kong arrived at the front of the Ghost Hand Defense position, calling over the waiting TV anchor Mako. Seeing the suddenly appearing Shijing Kong, Mako was extrely surprised, excitedly running over, shouting, "Are you Shijing Kong, Excellency? Could you remove your hood so everyone can see?"
"Miss Mako, I didn't expect us to et this way," Shijing Kong recognized the anchor, replying coldly, and removed his hood. With Shijing Kong at the end of his rope, he'd do anything for family legacy. Looking at the Police Director approaching from behind Mako, he said coldly, "Director, you didn't expect this, did you? I haven't died. Now, shouldn't you hand over my grandson?"
The Police Director's face turned grim, and without answering, turned away to contact higher-ups. Shijing Kong's appearance thoroughly disrupted everyone's plans, and indirectly confird many things. The matter was really significant, and the Police Director dared not make any statents.
Mako was instead excitedly saying, "This gentleman, Hook, said you were directed by Yuanfei Zuo to attack his tribe. Is this true, please confirm. Also, what exactly is Yuanfei Zuo's position? Does he hold any governntal office?"
