Luo Zheng quickly tidied up and found three grenades, which he carefully stashed away. Peering slowly ahead, the enemies lurking in the corner of the courtyard ahead remained unaware. Instead, three n erged from the house, using hand signals—nobody spoke. It didn't seem like they had discovered anything; Luo Zheng waited cautiously and then realized they were changing shifts.

Having killed three n and acquired five grenades was far from enough. Luo Zheng pondered for a mont and had a bold idea. He swiftly removed his camouflage suit and draped the black robe of one of the dead n over himself. He took the black hat, put it on his head, picked up the enemy's gun, and slung it over his shoulder. Thinking it over, he took out a pack of cigarettes, put one in his mouth, and nonchalantly walked toward the corner of the courtyard wall.

The moon was slightly to the east, and its light was largely blocked by the tall courtyard wall, casting a shadow. Luo Zheng hid in the shadow to avoid detection by the enemy, pretending to be leisurely while quickly moving about two or three ters forward before a man erged from inside the wall, making hand signals.

Luo Zheng didn't know why these people weren't speaking. Were they afraid of alerting him? Regardless, he saw a chance to use this to his advantage. He quickened his pace, moving more than a ter further, and with the distance to the man now halved, he tossed the pack of cigarettes with one in his mouth, visibly offering a light and a smoke.

Without giving any alarm or showing suspicious activity or warning, the man on the opposite side didn't doubt Luo Zheng and took him for one of their own. He gestured for Luo Zheng to co over. Luo Zheng was thrilled and, when he was two ters away from the man, threw the pack of cigarettes to him. The man hurried to catch it, his attention drawn by the cigarettes, not observing Luo Zheng's true identity.

Luo Zheng stepped forward quickly, crossing over the man. From the left and right, he rapidly drew his knives. The corner of the courtyard wall was too dark to see clearly. The two n coming forward to check did not give an alarm and also thought their own comrade approached, utterly without guard. The knives, fast as lightning, stabbed into their target's foreheads.

After his successful attack, Luo Zheng swiftly turned around and saw the man who just caught the cigarettes lighting up. The sudden flicker of the lighter illuminated the man's face. A cold smile erged on Luo Zheng's lips; he patted the man on the shoulder. The man had just lit his smoke, took a deep drag, and slowly raised his head, exhaling a puff of smoke.

Luo Zheng struck suddenly, his fingers slightly curved, hitting the man's Ying acupoint 1.5 inches beside the Adam's apple with enough force to shatter six stacked bricks. His knuckles exploded with force upon the vulnerable acupoint. A heavy blow to this spot could, at the very least, cause dizziness and unconsciousness without any scream. At worst, it ant instant death.

Acupoint striking wasn't a joke; if the points were struck accurately, even a child could take down a big, strong man, let alone Luo Zheng striking with all his might. The enemy didn't even grunt before he died instantly. Luo Zheng dragged the body into the dark corner of the courtyard wall and conducted a quick search.

The haul was good this ti: six grenades. Luo Zheng collected all the grenades and ammo, crouching in the dark to scan the surroundings. The breeze still whispered gently, and the moonlight grew brighter, shining over the quiet courtyard, adding a serene touch. Yet, who could imagine the carnage in the dark corner?

In the shadows, Luo Zheng's eyes shimred with a fiery combat spirit, looking sowhat sinister. However, with all the people outside in the courtyard taken care of and none the wiser, Luo Zheng shed the black robe and, ghost-like in the darkness, took the loot and swiftly left, climbing back onto the rooftop.

With eleven grenades, twelve magazines, and an AK47 in hand, Luo Zheng put on his camouflage suit again. The grey-brown camouflage blended him into the surroundings as if he beca one with them. Having been out for quite a while, Luo Zheng knew he couldn't wait any longer; otherwise, Yue and the others might worry and co looking for him.

Luo Zheng weighed the grenade in his hand, staring at the village bathed in moonlight. He slowly zeroed in on an area, pulled the pin of the grenade, and furiously threw it. The grenade traced a beautiful arc across the night sky, carrying with it the scent of death, and landed in a corner thirty ters away.

"Boom!" A huge explosion erupted, flas soared into the sky, tearing through the darkness, lighting up the surroundings.

Without waiting for the enemy to react, Luo Zheng hurled another grenade in a different direction. The massive explosion once again shattered the tranquility of the village. After ensuring his success, Luo Zheng quietly lay on the rooftop, observing.

The sudden explosion startled the lurking enemies. In no ti, hordes of ard militants ran toward the explosion site. Several villagers also ca out of their rooms, cries, curses, and sounds of running mixed together, plunging the scene into chaos.

Luo Zheng concealed himself in the shadows, coldly watching everything unfold. He quickly realized sothing was amiss. Judging by the way the ard militants were splitting up—one group running toward the explosion site, the other heading towards a large compound by the river—there had to be an important figure hidden there.

"Hiding there, are you?" A cold smile crossed Luo Zheng's resolute face. Like a ghost in control of life and death in the darkness, after probing the target's location, Luo Zheng did not imdiately act. His opponents were the cunning and ruthless Wild Wolf rcenary Group; they would not be unprepared. Besides, there were many small courtyards near the compound, eerily quiet, with no lights or people, as if they heard nothing of the explosion. It defied logic; there must be ambushers.

After assessing the reality of the enemy's traps, Luo Zheng's earlier anxiety dissipated, replaced with calmness. His cold eyes locked onto the compound, and he began to think of a strategy. With ambushers lurking all around, a direct assault was definitely out of the question. Sneaking in would be exceedingly difficult as well, with the Wild Wolf rcenary Group laying in wait, definitely not to be underestimated. It seed the only option was to use grenades; fortunately, he wasn't too far away.

The farr was bait for tonight. Before the prey was hooked, the bait would surely be well protected; Luo Zheng wasn't overly concerned about harming the farr. He crouched and dashed forward rapidly, easily leaping onto the neighboring rooftop. With a roll, he continued running crouched, crossing three rooftops in one breath. He then stopped on another rooftop, hiding in the dark, coldly watching the compound across the river.

This place was only about thirty ters from the compound, separated by a river—it was a good spot for a stealth attack. Luo Zheng pulled the pin on another grenade and threw it with all his might, then ducked his head and hid, calmly observing the situation. The grenade soared with Luo Zheng's anger and killing intent, drawing a beautiful arc before descending.

"Boom!" The massive explosion sounded again, shattering the calm of the compound.

"Dadada!" A barrage of bullets rained down like a downpour from the dark corners, forming a curtain of fire in the night sky, radiating the terrifying presence of death.

"Have I been discovered?" Luo Zheng was shocked. Curling his body into a ball, he lowered his head deeply to minimize his exposure to the attack, daring not to move recklessly.
