It took a lot of effort and intimidation to subdue Shi Huansheng. Ghost Hand still didn't believe his pleas were genuine. To have made it to where he was, Shi Huansheng was no simple man. Ghost Hand feigned trembling hands, as if unable to hold on, and coldly pressed, "This is your last chance. Are you going to talk or not? Hurry up, my hands are starting to shake. If you fall, don't say I didn't warn you."

"No, hold on tight, don't drop ! I'll talk," Shi Huansheng shouted in panic, with a hint of tears in his voice, quickly saying, "I don't know who that person is. I've only seen him once, at the welco dinner when I first arrived. The board mbers called him 'State Preceptor.' I haven't seen him since."

"You should have said so earlier." Ghost Hand tossed Shi Huansheng onto the bed and coldly continued his questioning, "Since you've cooperated, I won't kill you for now. Tell , how did you determine he has a poisonous snake?"

"He was carrying a cloth bag. The snake was inside it. I couldn't understand his words; he's probably from Yin Country. One of the directors told to bring a live rooster from the kitchen. The snake might have heard the rooster crow, so it ca out. I only got a glimpse before I was chased out. I really don't know what they talked about inside," Shi Huansheng explained hurriedly, with tears in his voice.

"What does that State Preceptor look like?" Ghost Hand continued to question coldly, while pondering internally. Using such an outdated title like 'State Preceptor,' this person might not be simple, and things inside might not be simple either.

"Short and chubby, in his fifties, dressed like a Yin Country monk, with a compassionate look. When I first t him, I thought he was a high monk or sothing. Didn't expect him to carry a poisonous snake. It scared . Why are you looking for a poisonous snake?" Shi Huansheng explained quickly, with a bit of doubt. Having co back from the brink of death, Shi Huansheng regained his shrewdness.

"Is that for you to ask?" Little Dao snorted discontentedly.

Startled, Shi Huansheng quickly shut his mouth, staring fearfully at Ghost Hand. Ghost Hand ignored him. Though clues had erged, the results were startling. Ghost Hand dared not delay, imdiately dialed Luo Zheng's number, briefly outlined the situation, and asked, "That's about it. Should we bring him back for another interrogation?"

"Yes, bring him back for a sketch as well," Luo Zheng replied, approving the plan to place him under house arrest once results were obtained. But since he had t the so-called State Preceptor, who might be behind the snake-based murders, it was necessary to bring him to the station to sketch the suspect.

That was Ghost Hand's intention as well. After receiving Luo Zheng's clear order, he looked coldly at Shi Huansheng, who thought Ghost Hand was going to kill him and scread in terror, "No, don't kill ! I've said everything I know!"

His voice abruptly stopped as Ghost Hand knocked him unconscious with a karate chop and hurriedly carried him out. Little Dao didn't dare ask more and followed closely behind. The two quickly took the elevator downstairs, catching curious looks from people along the way. Ghost Hand was too lazy to explain, and no one dared ask further questions.

Once out of the hotel, they went to the parking lot, tossed Shi Huansheng into the back seat, and Ghost Hand personally took the wheel. Little Dao sat in the back, watching Shi Huansheng just in case. The car swiftly exited the parking lot onto the main road. Ghost Hand watched the surroundings with a vigilant face. Minutes later, he suddenly noticed a suspicious car tailing them.

Ghost Hand's eyes sharpened, releasing a chilling aura of killing intent. This was Beijing, in Huaxia Country's territory. Who dared to act rough here? Ghost Hand didn't mind playing with them, but considering Shi Huansheng's importance, he had to rein in his killing intent and said to Little Dao, "A car is tailing us, don't look back."

Just about to look back, Little Dao quickly abandoned the idea and quietly asked, "Mr. Gui, how should we handle it?"

"It's too late to call the police. Whose turf is this? Get them to help block the car behind us. I estimate that they plan to kill to silence. Be careful," Ghost Hand quickly advised.

Little Dao responded, imdiately pulling out his phone to make a call. Ghost Hand also took out his phone to inform Luo Zheng. Upon hearing about the tailing, Luo Zheng was taken aback and imdiately inford Shi Feng. Shi Feng's face changed as he quickly called to remotely direct the situation.

After the call, Ghost Hand saw the car behind accelerating, attempting to overtake from the passing lane. Ghost Hand snorted coldly, pocketed his phone, and fiercely stepped on the gas, speeding forward to widen the gap. This sudden change made the opposition realize they were exposed, prompting them to floor the gas and chase aggressively.

The road was crowded with traffic, and speeds weren't fast. Ghost Hand kept braking to avoid surrounding cars, then roared the engine to overtake, causing a chorus of curses from surrounding drivers. The car behind refused to give up, moving at a considerable speed. A driving expert, they tightly pursued.

Watching the car behind gradually closing in, Ghost Hand's expression grew grim. Unexpectedly, their driving skills were top-notch. Through the rearview mirror, Ghost Hand noticed two people in the car behind: one driving and the other in the front passenger seat, hands now holding a shotgun, loading shells.

Knowing that rescue wouldn't arrive in ti, Ghost Hand realized it was up to him and suddenly accelerated again. The car surged forward twenty ters, avoided a rear-end with a sharp brake, dodging into an adjacent lane. Just as he accelerated, he noticed the car behind catching up and closing in.

Ghost Hand jerked the wheel, yielding the position to the opposition, moving into the side lane, braking hard. The car halted, and the other vehicle surged forward, crashing into Ghost Hand's car with a bang. Fortunately, the speed didn't exceed sixty, and a hard brake prevented severe damage. The car still operable, Ghost Hand imdiately gunned the engine to catch up with the previous car.

Seeing Ghost Hand catching up, the other party, realizing they've lost the advantage, chose not to engage and sped away. Ghost Hand, bursting with frustration, refused to let them escape and pursued aggressively. However, the opponent's driving skills rivaled a Formula 1 racer. Considering Shi Huansheng's value, Ghost Hand didn't dare to push too hard.

Just then, several police motorcycles arrived; two pursued the suspects while the other two led Ghost Hand towards the municipal station. With police backup, there was no way those suspects could get away. Ghost Hand focused less on them and followed the police vehicles forward.

Soon, they arrived at the municipal station entrance. Ghost Hand parked the car and pulled the unconscious Shi Huansheng out, looking at Little Dao apologetically, "I damaged your car."

"No worries, it's insured. If anything else cos up, just let know," Little Dao politely responded and drove off.

At this mont, Shi Huansheng awoke, looking at the solemn and dignified national emblem of the municipal station. He instantly realized the situation, his spirits lifted, and he shouted dissatisfied, "You're the police? So what? Let go! What cri have I committed? I want to see a lawyer."
