Half an hour later, the two arrived in a dense forest on the opposite peak, hiding under a large tree, calmly observing ahead, their cold eyes burning with endless battle intent. Shadow drew a military dagger, gestured to Luo Zheng to wait a mont, then launched himself forward like a cannonball.

After sprinting more than twenty ters, Shadow suddenly lunged forward, diving like a predatory eagle, landing on a bush, crushing the snow and foliage. Luo Zheng was astonished, unsure of Shadow's actions. Fixing his gaze, he saw Shadow rise from the bush, gesturing to him.

Luo Zheng jogged up in surprise, soon reaching Shadow, only to find a corpse in the bush, throat slit, blood still gushing out. Startled, he hadn't expected there to be a hidden sentry here. He quickly crouched down, vigilantly surveying the surroundings.

"No need to look, this is the only one. I almost got discovered last ti I was here. Let's go," Shadow said softly, exuding a thick aura of confident killing intent.

Luo Zheng glanced at Shadow in surprise, then smiled, saying, "It seems these two months here haven't been in vain for you. You've clearly worked everything out. The enemy deserves their bad luck. Let's go." Once Shadow started moving ahead, Luo Zheng leisurely followed, realizing with Shadow around, he didn't even need to act.

The two continued forward under the cover of surrounding trees, unknowingly reaching the mountain top. Shadow leaped onto the ground, carefully observing ahead. Luo Zheng also hid beneath a bush, eyes sharp as he looked forward, drawing his pistol and attaching a suppressor just in case.

At this mont, Shadow gestured Luo Zheng to guard, then rushed forward, gripping the military dagger in reverse, moving as swiftly as a sprinting cheetah. In an instant, he reached the large rock at the summit, concealed himself with his back against it, listening intently, his expression determined, eyes sharp.

Soon, Shadow stealthily circled around the rock. Luo Zheng watched ahead intently, holding his pistol steady, aiming. Suddenly, he saw Shadow deftly pouncing forward as if onto a person. Jolting in surprise, Luo Zheng quickly rushed up to assist, soon discovering a corpse on the ground, throat slit, blood gushing, while Shadow crouched at an underground entrance nearby, calmly pulled the pins on two grenades, tossed them in, and quickly rolled away.

Luo Zheng also swiftly dodged behind the rock, hearing two muffled explosions below mixed with agonizing screams. Smoke billowed out of the entrance, laden with the chilling scent of death, soon swept away by the wind. Shadow quickly charged forward, jumping directly down.

"Careful," Luo Zheng called out in surprise, following suit without hesitation, jumping down.

The hole wasn't deep. Upon landing, Luo Zheng saw it was sizable, about seven or eight square ters, with dry firewood and bedding on the ground, a bonfire burning, but now a chaotic ss from the blasts. Six corpses lay sprawled across the floor, blood continually seeping out, all dead.

Shadow checked the bodies, giving an extra stab just in case. Luo Zheng briefly glanced around, picked up a satellite phone from the ground, examined it, then tossed it aside. He couldn't understand Russian and had no way to eavesdrop with it. Seeing roasted at and bread nearby, he delightedly picked them up to eat, sharing so with Shadow, who accepted without hesitation, eating while saying, "Should we stash the weapons and ammo for later use?"

"We can. Let's do it after eating, there's no rush," Luo Zheng replied indifferently.

After eating their fill, they took all the weapons and ammo from the observation point, dug a snow pit nearby to hide them, camouflaged the spot, noted the surrounding terrain, then headed to the next base, stopping intermittently. With Shadow, who was familiar with the terrain, Luo Zheng saved a lot of effort.

After about an hour of walking, they encountered a slope with a patrol team in the woods, with wolf dogs, ten people in total. The two quickly found a place to crouch down and hide, calmly observing the team. Luo Zheng planned to wait until they left to act, only to find Shadow already sneaking forward, taken aback. This guy was really daring and skilled. Quickly, he followed.

Shadow proceeded ahead, stopping intermittently, using trees along the way to cover himself. Soon, he was within ten ters of the last enemy. Shadow suddenly pushed off in a burst of snow, dashed forward like an arrow, clamping a hand over the enemy's mouth, while his other hand's dagger flashed toward the enemy's throat, unleashing a blood spurt, coloring the snow red, eerily striking in the sunlight.

After the sneak attack succeeded, Shadow didn't stop, ignoring the collapsing enemy corpse, darting forward like a thrusting spear, driving the military dagger into another enemy's temple, twisting it fiercely before ripping it out.

By now, the enemies ahead were alert, turning with shock to face Shadow, raising their guns to fire. Shadow forcefully hurled the corpse at one enemy, sidestepping a gun barrel aiming at him with a nimble bend, while his dagger slashed the other's throat like a viper.

The blade rose, blood splattered, swift and clean, like lightning. Shadow didn't pause, reaching with a large hand, grabbing another enemy's gun, violently yanking. The enemy stumbled forward uncontrollably, Shadow's dagger curving in a dark arc, slashing the enemy's throat, blood gushing out. The enemy dropped the gun, clutching his throat, eyes wide with fear, collapsing backward.

Seeing Shadow's fierceness, Luo Zheng refused to be outdone, raising his gun for several controlled shots, each hitting the mark, instantly downing three enemies. As he saw, Shadow swiftly took out two more, while the remaining two enemies fled in panic, one wolf dog barking madly.

"Puff puff!" Luo Zheng raised his gun, firing two shots, each hitting the wolf dog's head. It whimpered, collapsing. At this mont, Shadow charged forward like a released tiger, slamming into a terrified enemy, sending him flying far, his head smashing against a tree heavily, neck twisting, body sliding down silently.

The other enemy fled in horror, legs sprinting without looking back, shouting sothing unintelligible.
