On the vast plateau mountaintop, piles of red-brown rocks stretched endlessly, forming a spectacular scene under the sunlight. The canyon was deep and bottomless, with sunlight unable to penetrate through. On the gentle mountain ridge, Luo Zheng, Ghost Hand, and Madela walked directly forward. The surrounding view was expansive, with nothing to provide cover. Disguising themselves as enemies and strutting along unexpectedly beca the best choice.

As they neared the slope ahead, a person erged from the back, raising a gun and shouting sothing. Luo Zheng couldn't understand, so he deliberately mimicked the local accent with a shout in response. Seeing that the person didn't detect the ruse, and continued shouting sothing, Luo Zheng said to Ghost Hand and Madela behind him, "We'll have to force our way through. Prepare for battle."

"Understood." Ghost Hand and Madela said softly, loading their weapons with bullets.

The gentle ridge offered no cover, with no place to hide. The enemy was on the slope ahead, occupying a higher and strategically advantageous position with a slope for cover. Luo Zheng quickly assessed the terrain and quickened his pace forward. His tiger-like eyes locked fiercely on the shouting enemy in front.

After covering so distance, they arrived at the bottom of the slope. The slope was about ten ters high, with a gentle gradient, easily conquerable with a charge. The ground was bare of grass, with even the soil and stones blown away, leaving only hard red-brown rock slabs. As they advanced rapidly, Luo Zheng keenly noticed the shouting enemy suddenly raising a gun, evidently sensing sothing. Luo Zheng quickly commanded, "You two charge forward, I'll cover." Saying this, he pounced to the ground, quickly setting up his sniper rifle. At a re thirty ters away, this distance was not an issue for Luo Zheng, raising the rifle and firing a shot.

"Bang!" The sniper rifle roared, and the bullet roared out of the barrel, slicing through the void with a terrifying energy burst, instantly piercing the target's chest. The target was knocked back, and a massive spray of blood erupted in the void, before crashing heavily to the ground, unmoving.

Ghost Hand and Madela understood the importance of ti, charging fiercely forward with their guns at the ready. Luo Zheng lay prone, his gaze fixed on the slope direction. He soon discovered the head of one target exposed behind the slope, and without hesitation, pulled the trigger. The sniper bullet again whistled out of the barrel with a fearso sonic boom, zipping through the air to embed directly in the target's chest, knocking him back.

The aim was initially for the head, but as the enemy ascended, by chance the bullet hit the chest upon impact, an unlucky stroke for encountering Luo Zheng. At this mont, Ghost Hand and Madela seized the chance, surging up the slope. From their elevated vantage point, they relentlessly fired at the targets behind the slope.

Luo Zheng, seeing this scene, was overjoyed. He grabbed his weapon and rushed up, only to find Ghost Hand directing Madela to provide cover while he jumped down the slope. Hastily, Luo Zheng quickened his pace. Upon reaching the top, he discovered a platform approximately five square ters in size behind the slope, with two bodies lying on it. Nearby was a naturally ford cave, about two ters deep, with an irregular triangular opening—narrower at the top and wider below, and three more bodies lay inside, with Ghost Hand cleaning up the battlefield.

Luo Zheng signaled Madela to join him in charging down the slope. Glancing at the corpses on the ground, he noticed so dry grass inside the cave, evidently a frequently used observation point. With the enemies sniped outside, there were six in total. Weapons and ammunition were scattered around, and Luo Zheng scanned the surroundings, his face darkening. He said, "Our trail might have been exposed. We must finish quickly, and use all grenades to set traps."

"Understood." Ghost Hand quickly agreed, fixing the grenades under the bodies, connecting a trigger to them. Moving the bodies would set off the grenades. He then concealed bullets and other grenades under the bodies as well. Once detonated, it would undoubtedly be an earth-shattering explosion.

Having completed all this, they exited the cave and stood on the platform behind the slope, looking gravely ahead. Ghost Hand reminded, "We are about five kiloters from the destination. The gunshots might or might not have exposed us. Should we gamble on it or find a place to hide and wait?"

"What do you suggest?" Luo Zheng asked softly.

"Let's find a place to hide. There are ravines everywhere. The terrain is complex, so we can find a place to hide where they won't find us. We can wait until nightfall to act." Ghost Hand suggested softly.

Luo Zheng looked at Madela, who nodded in agreent, "We've already taken out two enemy strongholds. The enemy is likely confused and will search everywhere. We should hide before they retaliate, and act after dark. This increases our chances of success."

Ghost Hand and Madrid should be the ones most eager to rescue people. Their cautious hesitation suggests they've regained their usual calm and shrewdness, which reassured Luo Zheng. He said, "Your suggestion isn't bad, but it's not completely right either. The enemy may have discovered us, or they might not have. If they haven't, wouldn't we miss the opportunity? If they have, we can always destroy another observation point and retreat. Considering our speed, they can't catch up. Why not take the risk?"

"You have a point, but?" Ghost Hand said with so concern.

"Are you worried that the enemy will harm the dical team?" Luo Zheng chuckled. Seeing Ghost Hand nod, he continued, "No, firstly, the enemy doesn't know our identity. Secondly, they need the dical team and won't harm them unless desperate. They might relocate them at most, but we'll monitor them with satellites. We're not afraid of them hiding."

"Makes sense, then let's go for it," Madela agreed, brightening up.

"Right, let's fight." Ghost Hand eagerly wished for a thorough combat and imdiately agreed.

"Let's move." Luo Zheng's face darkened as he climbed the slope. Following the mountain ridge, he checked his phone for the route and the enemy's observation points. They were approximately two kiloters away, showing how cautious the enemy was. Ghost Hand and Madela closely followed, alert to their surroundings.

The area was all Mountain Ridge, devoid of grass, in plain sight, unsuitable for ambushes. The undulating ridge was like a massive dragon, though not steep, resembling a natural Fenghuo Great Wall. The protruding slopes acted like signal towers, and the enemy's next observation point indeed lay on the forthcoming rise.

This slope was slightly higher, heavily eroded, and nearly circular, resembling a fortified enclosure with layers of red-brown rock. Luo Zheng closely watched the slope and asked through his earpiece, "How many enemies do you estimate forward? Can you see clearly?"

"There are so rocks on top, with people hiding among them. It seems like only six of them." Lan Xing reported promptly.

Just as the words fell, Luo Zheng saw soone erge from the rocks on the slope, raising a gun and shouting sothing incomprehensible. He involuntarily frowned and asked in a low voice, "Can you understand what they're saying?"
