Luo Zheng let out a cold snort, reversed his grip on the military knife, and charged forward once more.
"Squelch!" The military knife flew out of his hand, piercing straight into the chest of one enemy up to the hilt with such force that it drew a stream of blood. Luo Zheng didn't even glance at it, instead pouncing on the other enemy like a descending tiger. The enemy in a panic raised his gun to block, but Luo Zheng's large hand darted out, seizing the weapon first. His other hand, like a striking python, swiftly gripped the opponent's throat, squeezing and twisting with force, directly breaking the enemy's neck. The foe's head tilted, lifeless.
At this mont, Ghost Hand and Madela rushed forward, seeing the ground littered with bodies. The enemy Luo Zheng had knocked unconscious with a pistol was just waking, but Ghost Hand quickly noticed. "Who knows? Maybe." Luo Zheng replied ambiguously with a smile. He also felt significant improvent in his combat skills and speed. Just now, charging at the enemy bullets, if it were before, he would surely have been hit. But this ti, he managed to rush forward unscathed, which would be impossible without such speed.
"What next?" Madela quickly inquired.

Luo Zheng glanced at the rift beneath the cave, about five hundred ters across and seemingly bottomless, stretching forward unknown distances. The cave is on a cliff in the rift, but can be reached directly from the mountain's ridge, where many fortifications have been built, heavily patrolled.
"Haven't we been discovered?" Ghost Hand exclaid, watching this scene.
"Hard to say. Maybe we have, but without higher orders, they're holding back." Luo Zheng whispered while continuing to observe the cave. He noted the mountain around the cave was covered in bushes, with a prominent big tree beside it. Moving the sniper scope downward, he found a river indeed flowed through the rift, winding along the cliff, barely five ters wide, easily overlooked in the five hundred ters wide Big Rift Valley. It was about twenty ters from the cave, connected by a winding stone path, indicating the cave dwellers drew water from it.
"It's about five hundred ters from here to the cave, with only the ridge to reach it. Rushing through is impossible. If the enemy heard the gunfire, we'd be sitting ducks. I suggest detouring and circling behind the cave after dark. What do you think?" "We won't know until we fight." Luo Zheng calmly observed the terrain.
"It's worth a shot. At worst, retreat during battle. Every two kiloters there's a hill, akin to a defensive position. It can be utilized, dealing significant enemy damage shouldn't be difficult." Ghost Hand eagerly added.
"The terrain here is treacherous, only the ridge permits pursuit. One side is a cliff rift, no need to worry about a flanking move. The other side has no cover; coming up makes them easy targets. We can fight and retreat, it's doable." Madela agreed.
"You heard them. Not engaging might alert the enemy to our intentions. What if they target the dical team? We must fight, and strike hard, confuse the enemy about our true aims. Night's approaching; fight until dark, then withdraw with no issues." Luo Zheng coldly stated, his imposing battle intent seemingly flaring, igniting the surrounding air.
