"Bang bang bang!" Luo Zheng rapidly pulled the trigger, shooting down each exposed enemy. His expression was fierce, his killing intent soaring, yet his heart was tightly wound with worry. The enemy's fighting spirit exceeded expectations and their suicidal tactics brought them closer and closer. It wouldn't take long for them to engage in close combat, and against absolute firepower and numbers, his side definitely couldn't hold.

Ghost Hand and Madela were on the mountain front, fiercely counterattacking from behind rocks. Their expressions showed worry as they stared sharply ahead, their cold gaze like a chilling star from afar, extrely bright, shooting down the approaching enemy.

However, more enemies ca forward, especially those flanking from both sides, now barely fifty ters away, clearly visible. Bar's n were fiercely throwing grenades at them, almost only Ghost Hand and Madela suppressed the front. If not for Luo Zheng's precise shots alleviating the frontal pressure, the enemy would have already charged up.

Luo Zheng emptied his magazine, and while changing bullets, swept the battlefield with his cold gaze, realizing the sides were also in danger. His expression changed drastically, with brows tightly furrowed, angrily chambering rounds and aiming only to find the enemy suddenly retreating, causing great bewildernt.

The enemy was confident in victory, almost ready to attack, but then suddenly retreated? Luo Zheng was puzzled but didn't overthink it. Instead, he seized the opportunity and shouted angrily, "Bar, hit them hard."

"Understood," Bar shouted in agreent and yelled commands in their native tongue. They all leapt from cover, furiously shooting at the retreating enemies, no longer hiding, while howling.

Luo Zheng suspiciously lifted his sniper scope to observe, discovering a group huddled together, with one person carrying a dead body and sprinting away, surprising him greatly. Upon a closer look, the body was a familiar face recently sniped by himself. Based on past combat experience, these n wouldn't care about deceased comrades. Why insist on taking the body away unless its identity exceeds expectations?

Thinking of this, Luo Zheng beca even more puzzled. Would these madn abandon impending victory due to one person's death? The answer was no, unless the person held great importance. However, this was advantageous. Luo Zheng quickly discarded distractions and shouted, "Pursue for thirty ters and return, kill!" As he charged forward.

The retreating enemy flashed their lights, clear targets, everyone was in high spirits killing. Upon hearing Luo Zheng's command, Bar considered briefly but still conveyed it to the others. They too looked at Luo Zheng puzzled, as hiding behind stones was safer, but seeing him already rushing, they refused to back down and charged with intense fire.

The enemy didn't expect Luo Zheng's counter-offensive, and panicked, speeding up their run. However, those pursuing were faster, the distance closed, visibility increased, and shooting accuracy improved as enemy casualties swiftly increased.

At this mont, Bar suddenly understood why Luo Zheng pursued. Though hiding behind rocks offered protection, visibility was limited, wasting ammunition. Charging forward altered the situation, inciting enemy panic, shortening distance, and enhancing shooting precision. Bar admired Luo Zheng, observing him leading fiercely upfront, like a war god.

"Kill!" Bar shouted, infected by the spirit, speeding up his pursuit.

With Luo Zheng's example and Bar's orders, the others pursued more fiercely, almost chasing them thirty ters, killing many enemies. By this ti, the enemy had realized, leaving so to counter-attack, only to frustratingly find pursuers had withdrawn.

Running thirty ters demands only seconds, and those seconds coincided with the enemy's decisions to retaliate. Luo Zheng decisively ordered the troops to retreat before the enemy could respond, timing extrely precisely. Though so were unwilling, they realized it was a great opportunity to attack, but Bar trusted Luo Zheng more, still ordering the retreat. Those lagging behind were gunned down, prompting others to speed up retreat, greatly respecting Luo Zheng's command.

Unconsciously, Luo Zheng's influence grew within the squad. Yet, upon returning to the position, he was unaware, quickly setting up the sniper rifle to retaliate, yelling, "Quick, cover!"

"Dadadad, Puff puff puff!" Shooting, firing, various weapon sounds blended, and flas flickered in the night, terrifyingly. Bullets sparking off rocks, resembling Death God's smile, eerily in the dark.

Soon, everyone retreated, the enemy seeing no pursuer, turned and fled. Luo Zheng observed coldly, then glanced at Bar. Several disobeyed orders and didn't retreat resolutely, resulting in them getting shot dead. If they were his n, Luo Zheng would definitely reprimand them severely.

Bar awkwardly smiled bitterly, avoiding Luo Zheng's gaze. Despite the sturdy rock defense, the pursuit resulted in several losses, frustrating Bar. However, the lack of training posed limitations.

This situation was sothing Luo Zheng couldn't chastise Bar for; after all, they weren't his n, just cooperation partners. With a deep sigh and a worried look ahead, continued, "There were nearly a hundred in the ambush, but the enemy's total force is around five hundred, leaving four hundred. Next attack will undoubtedly be intense. Our reality has been probed, likely won't hold."

"Yes, any suggestions?" Bar conceded, recognizing the situation.

"Leave the prisoners for them. All severely wounded, slow-moving, a burden if kept. The enemy will have to allocate n to guard them, reducing forces chasing us, possibly beneficial. What do you think?" Luo Zheng tentatively suggested.

Turning prisoners into potential slaves was regrettable to abandon, yet Bar acknowledged the present situation. Pursuing such interests could jeopardize himself, and valuing his own interests heavily, Bar quickly decided, regretfully acknowledging, "Alright, let's go with your idea."

"Imdiately order everyone to retreat, bringing more weapons and ammunition," Luo Zheng coldly commanded. The enemy had retreated temporarily, but could launch a fierce counter-attack any ti. If not seizing the chance to escape, it could be impossible soon. Yet thinking of Hariri's relentless pursuit, Luo Zheng was troubled, furrowing his brow.
