The battlefield signifies death. As soldiers, sacrificing for the country with no regrets, every mission requires a ntal preparation for sacrifice; a farewell letter is placed on the neatly folded quilt, but if given the chance to live, who would choose to die? As an officer, Luo Zheng naturally hopes to successfully complete the mission, but he even more hopes to bring everyone back intact. Although this mission was very perilous, it was considered mission accomplished, and the subsequent war has nothing to do with him, hence there's no need to stay.

Bar also knew that this wasn't Luo Zheng and his companions' war. Being able to establish a connection with the Governnt Army, and indirectly putting so pressure on the Governnt Army, Bar secured unimaginable benefits for himself. Bar was very grateful to Luo Zheng and his team, and with the Guard, rode cals to see them off for a full ten kiloters.

Along the way, there were indeed many tribal ard forces, but upon seeing the fully ard Governnt Army, along with Bar, who had just won a victory and was rising, they dared not entertain any ideas. Instead, they voluntarily sent hot water and food as a gesture of goodwill. Everyone knew that change was coming, and taking the opportunity to form good relations was not a bad idea, resulting in a smooth journey.

By the ti they returned to the Embassy, it was dusk. The ambassador had already prepared a banquet. Zhong Hai and Yu Xin were emotional seeing all the other dical team mbers safe and sound. Luo Zheng was also quite moved. These dical personnel, not fearing death, ca to provide support, their dical ethics shining like the sun and moon, worthy of admiration.

The al was particularly enjoyable for everyone, and Luo Zheng ate quite a bit. After being well-fed and satisfied, the ambassador announced that everyone would be flying back ho on a morning flight the next day. The announcent was t with excited laughter and tears. Returning ho felt incredible, especially after being detained for three years, making the prospect of returning feel unreachable. Many never dread they could go ho one day, and so even hugged their heads and cried bitterly.

This scene made Luo Zheng and his companions even more aware of the heavy responsibility and glorious duty they bore. Defending the country was not just a slogan; it required lives to uphold it. Being able to rescue everyone brought imnse satisfaction, making everything worth it. The dical team mbers thanked Luo Zheng and his companions sincerely.

After so sighs, the ambassador arranged for accommodations, and Luo Zheng returned to his guest room, washed up, changed into clean clothes, made himself a cup of tea, and sat on the balcony overlooking this unfamiliar city. The low buildings, sparse streets, all showed desolation, and compared to Beijing back ho, it was a world apart.

On one side there is backwardness, and on the other, prosperity. This stark contrast made Luo Zheng even more aware of the responsibility on his shoulders. For the nation's interests, for the people's interests, as a soldier, dying in battle would be without regret. As long as the country's security and prosperity are maintained, preventing any foreign humiliation, everything he has done is worth it.

The pure moon hung like a jade disc, high in the sky. The moonlight fell gently like water, enveloping the sowhat desolate and bleak city, falling on the balcony, bringing tranquility and harmony. Luo Zheng's heart gradually cald down, feeling that being alive was just right.

No words were spoken throughout the night. Early the next morning, everyone left in a coach arranged by the ambassador. The Governnt Army provided a team to escort them. They boarded the international flight, and after a layover on a special plane, they returned to Beijing International Airport by the afternoon of the next day. The relevant departnts sent people and vehicles to the airport to greet them.

The dical team received a warm welco, while Luo Zheng and his companions quietly left, without anyone to welco their transfer. Each carried their own equipnt, taking a special passageway out, looking like backpacking tourists, with no one knowing they carried weapons and other survival supplies in their bags.

Outside the airport, everyone caught a taxi to leave, in groups of three, heading directly to a certain military base, where they would take a helicopter back to the Fourth Squadron. Luo Zheng trusted his comrades wouldn't act rashly and let everyone return to their units on their own. He then took a taxi ho. It was a rare opportunity to return, and Luo Zheng especially missed his family. Lan Xue, Ghost Hand, Snow Leopard, and Mountain Eagle also returned to their respective hos. Such arrangents were approved by superiors, otherwise, no one would dare to act privately.

Looking at the familiar yet strange city, with bustling streets and tall buildings fading into the distance, Luo Zheng felt emotional but also smiled with satisfaction. This thriving scene had his contributions. The taxi driver, a chatterbox, kept introducing the city, assuming Luo Zheng was a tourist. Luo Zheng happily listened to it as a story.

In the blink of an eye, the taxi entered the city area, and Luo Zheng saw Beijing University, imdiately thinking of his adorable younger sister and smiling knowingly. He glanced at his wristwatch, realizing it was almost dismissal ti, and couldn't help but feel moved. He called out to the taxi driver, "Master, please stop at the university gate."

"Alright." The taxi driver replied, slowly driving forward, stopping by the roadside, and pointed at a line of luxury cars ahead, "Little brother, those are all luxury cars up ahead, no space for parking. Could you please walk a few extra steps?"

"No problem, why are there so many cars?" Luo Zheng asked curiously.

"You really don't know?" The taxi driver laughed, seeing Luo Zheng shaking his head in confusion, teased, "They're all here to pick up students. There's too much complexity in these things, sothing ordinary folks like us can't figure out. You look like you're from out of town, no need to get it clear. Go ahead, soon there won't even be a spot for pickup."

"Is that so?" Luo Zheng asked in surprise, seeing that the taxi driver didn't want to elaborate, he didn't bother asking further. He retrieved his luggage from the trunk, walked towards the campus gate, and took out his phone, turned it on, and called his little sister's number.

In no ti, his sister answered, surprise evident in her voice over the phone, "Brother, it's rare for you to call . What's the occasion? Are you giving a surprise?"

"Hmm, not sure if it's a surprise, I'm at your school gate," Luo Zheng laughed, a sense of guilt rising within him, realizing he hadn't shown enough care and attention towards his younger sister.

"Ah—" His sister's excited scream ca through the phone, followed by her shouting, "I'm coming imdiately."

Luo Zheng hung up, moved to a less crowded area to wait, observing the school gate crowded with people. So were holding large bouquets of flowers, so were eagerly anticipating, so were leaning against luxury car doors, seemingly all waiting for soone. Luo Zheng felt a bit embarrassed, being empty-handed to pick soone up.

"Should I have bought sothing?" Luo Zheng wondered, but quickly dismissed the thought. She's his own sister, no need for any superficial gestures. He waited patiently, and soon, a familiar figure dashed out from inside the campus, looking quite thrilled.

Seeing her, Luo Zheng smiled; his little sister was becoming more beautiful by the day. He advanced, as she pushed through the crowd at the gate, spotted Luo Zheng, and joyfully ran over, leaping into his arms like a swallow returning to the woods, she hugged him excitedly, "It really is you, wonderful! Mom and Dad would be thrilled to know you're here. They were talking about you this morning, saying you haven't been ho for a while."

"Uh?" Luo Zheng felt a lump in his throat, his nose tingled, and he smiled wryly with sha, unsure what to say.
