In tis of peace, carrying guns is prohibited, and law enforcent personnel cannot carry guns when off duty. But this bald guy was carrying a gun, and it's a Type-54 standard pistol, a type of gun only issued to law enforcent. Law enforcent naturally wouldn't do such a stupid thing; this bald guy is clearly a local tyrant, not to ntion attacking soldiers, illegal possession of firearms is enough to get him in trouble. Ghost Hand and the others sneered in disdain. This kind of trick is like child's play to them, not worth considering. Exchanging glances, they suddenly launched an attack, pouncing towards another accomplice like a leopard.
The bald guy saw them suddenly making a move and was instantly furious, pulling the trigger without hesitation.
"Whoosh!" A white light streaked through the Void, as fast as lightning, targeting the bald guy's handgun-wielding wrist with a faint whistling sound.
"Ah—bang!" A scream rang out, followed closely by the gunshot.
At this mont, Ghost Hand and the others had just taken down a few other accomplices. They turned back seriously, only to find a small knife lodged in the bald guy's wrist, the kind used for cutting steak in western dining. Blood was spurting out like mad. The bald guy clutched his wrist tightly and bent over. The gun had already fallen to the ground, leaving a bullet hole on the floor. Clearly, soone intervened before the bald guy fired, and the bullet hit the ground.
Everyone looked at Luo Zheng in confusion. Luo Zheng nodded, got up, and walked towards the bald guy. Everyone smiled with realization. Only Luo Zheng could injure soone with a flying knife, and it was precisely because Luo Zheng was there that everyone did not fear the bald guy's handgun threat.
Luo Zheng slowly approached the bald guy, squatted down to inspect the handgun and found the serial number still on it, clicking his tongue in admiration. "Bald guy, being able to get a standard weapon makes you quite a figure. It seems you hold so status around here. I wonder how you'll clean up after this, and how many people will be implicated because of you."
"Who the hell are you?" The bald guy stared at Luo Zheng in shock and pain.
"Thinking of asking who I am now? I must say your brain doesn't quite work. For soone as foolish as you, I'll let you continue being foolish. You're not qualified to know who I am. Of course, none of this matters to you now," Luo Zheng mocked teasingly.
"Who knows how things will turn out? Just you wait," the bald guy said coldly.
"Oh, really? Sure, I'll wait. It's better than doing nothing, and clearing out pests like you isn't bad. I'm curious about what tricks you can pull off. Are your n here yet? Ten? A hundred? Or a thousand?" Luo Zheng said disdainfully, slowly standing up.
Luo Zheng returned to his seat, pulled out his phone, dialed a number, and shouted, "Teahouse, get here imdiately."
"You're an." Lan Xue knew Luo Zheng was calling for backup and playfully scolded him softly.
"Can't help it. These local tyrants must be nurous, and if they rush in, it might hurt innocent people. The police will take at least a few minutes to arrive and might not send large reinforcents right away. Besides, we handle our own matters and don't need local departnts' help. Those guys are drinking in the bar next door, full of energy and bored; letting them loosen up a bit isn't bad," Luo Zheng said indifferently.
"You're making a mountain out of a molehill, but whatever," Lan Xue responded nonchalantly.
"It's not an overreaction. These bastards insulted my woman; they deserved a beating. Besides, these guys don't look like good people. Given their ongoing arrogance, there must be several reasons behind it. So, we'll deal with it conveniently, also considered helping rid the place of harm, a win-win," Luo Zheng said carelessly, suddenly noticing many people rushing over, all looking fierce with steel pipes, rubber boards, and other weapons in hand.
The diners around saw this scene and scattered in all directions, so unable to dodge were knocked down. Fortunately, the crowd's target wasn't the bystanders, as they pushed forward after knocking soone down without finishing off, or it would've been fatal. Luo Zheng saw this spectacle, and his face turned icy cold.
Strutting boldly in broad daylight, these people weren't re local tyrants. Luo Zheng abruptly stood up, his face brimming with anger as he eyed the attackers, just about to issue a counterattack command when the bald guy beside him laughed coldly, "You're arrogant at the wrong ti, smash them up, dead or alive." In fury, the bald guy showed intent to kill, issuing a life-or-death command.
Dozens charged forward, eyes gleaming furiously, yelling like madn. Luo Zheng's sharp gaze slightly frowned as he prepared to issue orders when suddenly, many people rushed out from the bar behind, all in casual clothing, but uniformly sporting a buzz cut, with steely faces charging forward silently, furiously striking the local tyrants.
"Ah ah ah—" In an instant, the previously arrogant local tyrants emitted heart-wrenching screams. The ones who rushed out of the bar were mbers of the Fourth Squadron, taking a break, naturally not leaving out fellow squad mbers. Officers gathered for tea, others wouldn't just sit by idly, so they sent them to the adjacent bar.
Soone attacked the officers, Fourth Squadron mbers were furious, charging forward and hitting them hard. Fortunately, they knew their limits, not delivering fatal blows, but everyone hit couldn't stand up, either suffering fractures or internal injuries, writhing in pain, howling without the forr swagger.
The bald guy stared at this scene, utterly stunned, his face pale as paper, lifeless. Luo Zheng walked coldly over, using a napkin to pick up the Type-54 pistol from the ground, sneering at the bald guy, "What's this? Just these few people? I thought you held more sway."
Hearing Luo Zheng's mocking tone, the bald guy shivered, growing fearful, blankly staring at Luo Zheng, "Who are you, really?"
"That's the second ti you've asked this question," Luo Zheng replied disdainfully.
Then, the far-off sound of police sirens erged, Luo Zheng paused, frowning as he glanced towards the source of the sirens, then looked at the bald guy. The bald guy's panicked face suddenly steadied, smiling excitedly, his face reddening as if finding a pillar to lean on, filled with confidence. Luo Zheng paused, sensing sothing amiss yet unconcerned, sneering, "What? You got reinforcents coming?"
"You're waiting to rot in a cell," the bald guy shouted hysterically, gritting his teeth as he pulled out a dining knife, took off his jacket to bandage his wrist, frowning firmly without uttering a sound, quite a character.
"Definitely so trickery involved, but fine, let's settle it all at once," Luo Zheng said with a cold smile, glancing around and shouting, "Get moving, haven't you eaten? Get back for more food."
