The vast prival forest, the serene entrance of the canyon exuded a sense of deathly stillness. The army of Sam Country had retreated three kiloters to construct defensive positions, having spent nearly three hours digging trenches and exploding many trees to clear the area, turning it into a temporary landing zone for ard helicopters. Nurous tents had been set up, forming the rough shape of a camp, but near the canyon entrance, it was eerily quiet. Everyone was either hiding in the Dark Fortress or lying low in the trenches, conserving energy.

Soon, three helicopters suddenly flew over the open sky, two of which were ard helicopters, and the other a transport helicopter. The three helicopters hovered above the Sam Country's army camp, slowly descending toward the open ground, attracting the attention of many soldiers who were busy repairing fortifications.

Jackson erged from a larger tent, his face grim as he watched the helicopters land. He adjusted the General's hat and walked toward them. It wasn't long before the helicopters ca to a complete stop, and the rotors began to slow. Ard soldiers jumped down from the helicopters, with one Lieutenant jogging up to Jackson. After saluting, he said, "Report, Commander, the prisoners have been delivered, please advise."

"Get them out," Jackson said coldly, casting a chilling glance at the transport helicopter.

The Lieutenant acknowledged, saluted, and departed. He directed a few n to open the transport helicopter's cabin door, shouting for the people inside to co out. Soon, soldiers pushed several people with black hoods on their heads out, so even being shoved to the ground. Nearby, soone stepped forward to grab and push them aside.

One by one, people with black hoods were pushed out of the transport helicopter, all ordered to stand in the nearby open area. These people had handcuffs and leg irons, with leg irons not even half a foot long, making it impossible to walk in large strides, let alone escape. Wearing dirty camouflaged battle uniforms and black hoods, their appearances were indistinguishable, but each stood with a straight spine, exuding a faint aura of deadly intent.

Soon enough, all the people from the transport helicopter were pushed out. Among them was one person dressed in a suit, looking like an ordinary civilian. The rotors of the three helicopters ceased entirely. The noise faded away. Jackson walked up, coldly observing these people in silence, with a wildly mixed mood.

At this mont, a military officer ca up, looking at the people erging from the helicopter with a complex expression. Standing next to Jackson, he softly said, "Is it them? You went to such lengths to capture them, and now you have to hand them back personally. Those politicians back ho are utterly clueless, disheartening our soldiers. Haven't the warriors who captured these bastards sacrificed in vain?"

"Let's not talk about this. The President has done a favor, and I can't make it difficult for him," Jackson said coldly in a soft voice, his expression complicated. He sighed deeply and said to the officer beside him, "I'm afraid I can't control my anger, so you take them to the prisoner exchange."

"Yes," the officer replied fully, frowning slightly, looking at Jackson with so concern before continuing, "But, if the enemy goes back on their word or acts impulsively, what should we do?"

"Don't worry, just take people there alone; I know their side. Even if none of us show up, they'll release our people. Bringing too many people may only escalate the tension. Go on, I don't want to see these bastards. Take their hoods off after I leave," Jackson coldly said, turning to walk toward the largest tent while advising, "Once the exchange is complete, launch an attack, pass the order down."

"Yes," the officer, unsure of Jackson's confidence or why he wasn't worried about the enemy playing tricks, chose to comply readily. After Jackson left, he gestured, causing the nearby soldiers on guard to step forward and remove the hoods from these people.

With the hoods removed, these people squinted to adjust to the surrounding light. Once they saw their surroundings clearly, they paused. One person's tiger-like eyes narrowed dangerously, scanning around quickly. Suddenly, he chuckled coldly, his dirt-sared face breaking into a joyful smile, and shouted, "Brothers, do you see this? We are about to be free, hahaha." Unable to contain his excitent, he started laughing heartily, speaking in Huaxia Country's language.

The others looked around and reacted as well. Another burly, robust man exclaid excitedly, "Ha ha, I knew brother would co up with sothing. Doing sothing huge like this again, I don't know what outrageous deeds brother has done this ti, but I love it. Brothers, do you see? This display, looks like they are about to exchange us as hostages. We are about to be free, I can already sll the gunpowder. Once free, I'm going to fight to my heart's content."

"Hahaha," the people around also burst into excited laughter, their eyes full of satisfaction, with no hint of being prisoners.

The Sam Country officer, who couldn't understand them, curiously walked up to the first speaker and asked, "How does it feel to be a prisoner? Why are you laughing?"

"Laughing at your incompetence, we're prisoners, so what? In the end, you have to release us obediently. Just wait, once I've recovered, I'm going to have your head with my al, and Jackson's too," the person coldly mocked, sharp eyes scanning the surrounding, suddenly shouting, "Jackson, you bastard, I heard your voice just now, didn't expect that, did you? Hahaha!"

"Bastard, are you looking for death?" the officer's face changed dramatically, pulling out his handgun and coldly pressing it against the other's forehead, saying, "Don't be arrogant, believe it or not, I could shoot you."

"I believe, you have the guts but not the capability. If you don't believe, you can try. I'm arrogant, if you dare, shoot. Your country brought here, which shows they're afraid to kill . What's a small Lt. even worth? Get out of my sight and let go already," the other replied defiantly, roaring without backing down.

"You!" The officer was taken aback, a strange thought arising: who is the prisoner here? At this mont, the officer sowhat understood why Jackson left; these guys, even as prisoners, were so arrogant that it would drive anyone to shoot in anger.

Shooting is easy, but nobody can afford the consequences. The officer coldly put away his handgun, stepped back a few paces, and gestured. Imdiately, soone rushed up to indicate for these people to start walking. The officer coldly watched these n and said, "I'll let you enjoy yourself for now, we will deal with you later. Now, co with us."

"About ti, enough nonsense," soone cursed, causing uproarious laughter from the others around. How could these people show any inclination of being prisoners?

The soldiers escorted them forward, one among them shouted in Huaxia Country language, "Brothers, hold your heads high. Even if we're prisoners, we're the kings among prisoners, don't disgrace yourselves."

"Yes," they responded, straightening their backs as they walked forward.
