"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!" Ten missiles roared out of their launchers, tearing through the stormy barrier, and charged forward fiercely like primordial beasts, carrying an unstoppable montum, chilling to the bone, disappearing from sight in an instant. Imdiately after, ten massive explosions echoed one after another, as huge fireballs erupted in the storm ahead, as if trying to drive the storm away, looking extrely terrifying.
Luo Zheng watched the scene coldly, while listening to the intermittent combat reports from his brothers through the earpiece, his expression calm as water, undisturbed, yet his heart was stirred. This infiltration into enemy territory for a surprise attack would definitely be a worldwide shock, regardless of success, it would cause an uproar, especially in Sam Country and the host nation.
If the surprise attack succeeded, whether in Sam Country or the host nation, even the whole world would have to pay attention to them. If it failed? Luo Zheng decisively dismissed this thought. Failure wasn't a possibility, nor could it be allowed to happen. With a steely expression, he ordered Wei Jian, "Prepare to attack the fighter jets."
"Understood," Wei Jian replied excitedly. To destroy a fighter jet single-handedly was enough to make one's blood boil; achieving it would be a lifelong boast.
"I suggest we wait a bit longer," Lan Xue suddenly advised from the side.
"What do you an?" Luo Zheng asked in surprise.
"If the attack goes smoothly, we should find ways to utilize these fighter jets; if not, we can destroy them later. Wait a bit, but prepare for the attack," Lan Xue suggested.
"You an?" Luo Zheng was startled, suddenly realizing, and smiled at Lan Xue. He said to Wei Jian, "Get ready; all units report the attack status."
"Smooth, the canteen has been taken down, over a hundred people have surrendered," Shusheng excitedly reported.
"We can't take prisoners, injuring them is sufficient," Luo Zheng said coldly. He couldn't order a direct massacre; the best approach was to inflict injuries, rendering them combat ineffective while causing trouble for the enemy.
"Understood. Aim below the enemies' legs," Shusheng's chilling voice echoed through the earpiece. This way, he could injure the enemy, but if an artery was accidentally hit and led to death, Shusheng couldn't help it.
Luo Zheng also knew this would cause many deaths, but in a battle between armies, there could be no rcy. Otherwise, it was cruelty to one's own n. Once the enemy reacted, endless pursuit would ensue without rcy. He didn't stop it; at this mont, Snow Leopard's voice ca through the earpiece, "The target is under control; all are officers—three major generals, more than a dozen school officers, and over thirty lieutenants. Should we kill them?"
"Injure them," Luo Zheng said coldly. They couldn't be taken away; leaving them behind was trouble. Injuring them solves the problem. As for whether these people would bring trouble to the Hook Tribe later, the troops have already been deployed; both sides are now dead enemies. Is there a need to consider these things? Injuring them was better, as it could at least to so extent intimidate the enemy.
"Understood," Snow Leopard replied coldly through the earpiece.
"The command center is under control, searching for remnants," Farr answered excitedly.
"Stop searching; blow up the control center imdiately, then withdraw to guard the gate," Luo Zheng said coldly. The plan was progressing too smoothly, so smoothly that Luo Zheng couldn't quite believe it. Was the enemy's combat ineffectiveness so weak? Or had the enemy completely underestimated soone would launch an attack and they found an opening? Perhaps the latter possibility was greater. Thinking of this, Luo Zheng imdiately shouted, "Monk, what's the situation?"
"Investigating enemy situation," Monk quickly responded. Fighter jets, helicopters, and transport planes were all in the hangars, watched over and maintained by specialists. Monk's task was to kill these people then take over the aircraft; not a single plane should take off, not even a transport plane.
"Hurry up, especially at the ammunition depot; it must be foolproof. The enemy definitely cannot set off explosives or destroy the fighter jets themselves," Luo Zheng quickly urged.
"Yes," Monk quickly agreed.
"Gardener, what's going on?" Luo Zheng quickly asked.
"Too many enemies, engaged in combat, need a bit of ti," Gardener's voice ca through the earpiece, mixed with intense gunfire and explosions.
Luo Zheng strained his eyes to look afar, but the storm blocked his sight. Continuing missile attacks might injure his own. His face turned steely, and he looked at Hook and said, "Hook, leave fifty n; others, go up to help. Shusheng, hurry up once you're done and help too; everybody pick up the pace."
"Yes," those nad quickly agreed.
"Lan Xing, how's the situation?" Luo Zheng continued asking. The scale of this battle was too large; Luo Zheng couldn't afford any negligence, his attention highly focused.
"No abnormal movents in the enemy's other military districts; the airport system is completely paralyzed, no distress signals were sent. Whether any hostages have links to the outside it's hard to know. Your actions must be swift; I'll keep monitoring other districts," Lan Xing quickly replied.
"Keep a close eye," Luo Zheng cautioned. Sneaking an attack on a military airport wasn't a trivial matter; in their extre viciousness, the enemy might send fighter jets for indiscriminate attacks, sothing that couldn't be overlooked. With a grim expression, he coldly commanded, "Everyone listen, decisive battle, kill any who resist!"
"Yes," everyone responded in unison.
Luo Zheng knew the ti was increasingly pressing, there was no more ti to wait. He turned to Wei Jian and said, "Quickly deploy three people to fly an ard helicopter to attack the remaining resisting enemies. Make it fast; let's move together," he said, striding to the helipad.
"Understood," Wei Jian agreed, leading the people, following closely, with Hook and Lan Xue following as well.
Soon, everyone reached the door of a large hangar where the helicopters were housed, finding several corpses at the entrance. Luo Zheng calmly glanced inside the hangar, a single ard helicopter was parked, no enemies were present. He threw Wei Jian a look, and Wei Jian understood, calling over a brother.
This brother handed the Red Banner Six to a teammate, rushed to check the helicopter, gave Wei Jian a thumbs up, then jumped into the cockpit. Soon, the helicopter started, its rotor spun faster and faster, gaining montum, slowly lifting off and heading toward the gate.
The gate was large enough for the helicopter to fly out. This brother piloted the ard helicopter into the storm, roaring toward the battle. Luo Zheng watched this scene with delight, exclaiming excitedly, "Brother, your underlings are truly exceptional, again!"
"For techies, playing with these is a required course. Their combat ability may not be as strong as yours, but they all grasp the basics, no need to worry," Wei Jian replied excitedly, leading people into another hangar. Still, there were no enemies, a few corpses lay on the ground, and Wei Jian quickly called soone to board another helicopter.
Soon, this helicopter also took off, roaring toward the battle.
