Last ti, when rescuing Lan Bo in Sam Country and ambushing the train, it was discovered that Hummingbird, the master of the ambassador's assistant Little Ma in Sam Country, was imprisoned in the Dark Prison. Little Ma also ntioned at that ti that many Advanced Agents were being held there. During the last ti when the Sam Country soldiers were kidnapped as a hostage exchange, Luo Zheng didn't ntion Hummingbird and the other detained agents, but Sam Country denied it, only admitting to Lan Bo and Ghost Hand and the others. Without proof, it was difficult to negotiate. Luo Zheng promised that if he ever had the chance, he would definitely rescue Little Ma's master. He kept thinking about the issue of Dark Prison. If there was a chance, Luo Zheng really wanted to take a look inside. The appearance of Shi Qian made Luo Zheng see an opportunity, but it was a deadly mission and couldn't be ntioned until he could absolutely trust Shi Qian.
When Shi Feng saw that Luo Zheng didn't want to say more, he understood the discipline and didn't ask further. The off-road vehicle unknowingly arrived at the municipal bureau, where the serious cri team and a squad of Ard Police were already in position at the entrance. Over a dozen vehicles were flashing police lights, just waiting for an order. Satisfied, Shi Feng looked at Shi Qian and said, "Kid, where to now?"
"Follow ," Shi Qian replied indignantly, driving forward. Shi Feng had to order his n to follow. Luo Zheng found it amusing, as the saying goes, "To stand soldiers and thieves at odds." Shi Qian represented the thieves, Shi Feng represented the soldiers, as if they were natural enemies. Fortunately, both were very restrained, so Luo Zheng couldn't be bothered to diate.
Ten minutes later, the convoy stopped in front of a bank, frightening the bank manager into rushing out to greet them, unaware of what was happening. Shi Feng couldn't be bothered to explain and looked at Shi Qian, who parked the car, turned off the engine, jumped out, and walked toward the bank. Shi Feng quickly signaled the Ard Police to set up a periter and followed with over a dozen mbers of the serious cri team.
Luo Zheng followed as well. Everyone walked into the bank. Shi Qian spoke to the bank manager, "Manager, I'm here to retrieve sothing. Please call the vault personnel over."
"One mont." The manager wanted to ntion it was after business hours, but seeing the grandeur of the situation, with even the head of the municipal bureau present, he knew sothing big was up and dared not delay. He imdiately called the vault personnel.
A few minutes later, the vault team arrived. After understanding the situation, they smiled bitterly, "Everyone, according to bank regulations, this gentleman is the custor and can co in with . The rest of you must wait outside. Please understand."
"Go ahead. If the kid runs away, I'll hold you accountable," Shi Feng knew the rules and didn't make things difficult, advising them while giving the serious cri team a look. The team quickly dispersed, sealing all exits.
Shi Feng was under enormous pressure, but it was understandable. Luo Zheng knew Shi Feng was worried about Shi Qian escaping, but he didn't reveal it, just smiled and said to Shi Qian, "It's a clever idea to hide things here. Why don't you go in?"
"Is it necessary? If you don't trust , that's fine." Shi Qian wasn't foolish and could see through Shi Feng's thoughts, saying with discontent before following the vault personnel to the secure room.
The vault manager instructed Shi Qian to use his retinal scan and fingerprint lock. The heavy, bulletproof iron door opened, and Shi Qian went in alone. The vault manager waited by the door, not worried about Shi Qian causing trouble inside. Everybody else watched curiously from outside. Shi Feng asked displeased, "What if the kid takes sothing or runs off?"
"Rest assured, the entire vault is made of reinforced concrete. Even explosives can't break it open. As for taking things? That's impossible. Every safe inside has both retinal and fingerprint locks. A wrong attempt sets off an alarm, and there are surveillance caras. If he tries opening another safe, it will be noticed. You can be assured," the vault manager responded.
Luo Zheng hadn't realized there were so many asures inside, increasing his curiosity, but he restrained himself from asking more. After about a minute, Shi Qian ca out holding sothing wrapped in a red silk cloth, cylindrical in shape. He handed it to Shi Feng, disgruntled, "Here it is. You better verify its authenticity. Once it leaves my hand, I'm not responsible."
"How am I supposed to know if it's real or fake?" Shi Feng retorted sarcastically but still took it and cautiously peeked at it. He couldn't determine its authenticity with so many people around, so asked the serious cri team's leader, "Deploy imdiately, head straight to the hotel, and have the Elder Lama verify its authenticity. Kid, you'll be riding with and driving. If it's the real deal, drinks are on . I'll personally escort you to prison; if not, the consequences are on you."
"Alright, you and your demands," Shi Qian replied irritably, "Let's go, why are we still standing here?"
"Ard Police, split into two teams, one leading and one following. You guys stay in the middle and alert everyone to be cautious. The road ahead might not be peaceful, so it'd be best to have traffic police mobilized to seal off important intersections. Maintain a speed of over sixty kiloters per hour, and once everything is set, move out," Luo Zheng seriously reminded Shi Feng.
Shi Feng pondered for a mont then said, "Makes sense, make the arrangents, we leave in ten minutes."
Shi Qian looked at Luo Zheng appreciatively, "You're the calm one, unlike so people."
Shi Feng glared at Shi Qian but said nothing further. Everyone waited in the bank's lobby area. With Ard Police securing the periter, there wasn't much concern about safety issues. After about ten minutes, the serious cri team's leader ca rushing back to report that everything was ready, and everyone stood up to leave.
Everyone got in their vehicles and headed toward the hotel. A police car led the way, its sharp siren causing pedestrians to move aside. Three Ard Police vehicles followed, with the serious cri team in the middle, and more Ard Police at the rear, forming a single lane. They sped forward at over sixty kiloters per hour.
Traveling at over sixty kiloters per hour made it difficult for even a top sniper to aim. As the convoy passed through intersections, Luo Zheng saw traffic police directing, stopping vehicles on both sides. Despite the few cars on the icy, snowy road, given the gravity of the situation, no one dared to take chances. As long as the item was genuine and handed over to its rightful owner, any loss afterward would be considered theft, not a state issue, raising political implications.
A dozen minutes later, the convoy stopped at the hotel entrance. The Ard Police quickly spread out to establish a periter, and the serious cri team rushed in to inspect. A few minutes later, the team leader erged, confird the safety of the hotel, and Shi Feng disembarked with the item, Luo Zheng closely beside, vigilantly observing the surroundings and drawing his pistol. The safer it seed, the more cautious one had to be.
Shi Qian also joined, and everyone safely entered the hotel lobby. Shi Feng had the serious cri team watch Shi Qian, called three people to accompany him, and took the elevator upstairs. Luo Zheng closely followed, accompanying him. The elevator stopped on the ninth floor, and they exited into an empty hallway, heading towards a room. Shi Feng signaled his n to spread out, then knocked on the door.
