"So it's the Sect Leader Shi Qian of the Thief Sect. I pay my respects. This sedative seems to be unique to your Thief Sect, doesn't it? What's going on here?" The Elder Lama put his hands together in a gesture of greeting, speaking with a faint smile. Yet, there was an invisible pressure in his manner, as he stared unblinkingly at Shi Qian with a hint of questioning.

"Master, please forgive . Our sect is unfortunate, as my Martial Uncle defected and established the Twin Gate. I'm here to settle the score, and I hope for your understanding." Shi Qian explained with a bitter smile.

"So that's how it is. I am an old acquaintance of your grandmaster and have so past ties. Since this has nothing to do with the Thief Sect, you needn't worry. As for the Twin Gate, while I do not ddle in secular matters, we have the Angry-eyed Vajra for protection. If that is the case, my sect will have soone demand an explanation from them." The Elder Lama spoke flatly, but with undeniable authority.

Luo Zheng was startled and quickly said, "Master, this is secular society, and it's our duty to uphold the law. Please don't intervene."

"In the world, worldly matters are handled accordingly." Shi Qian stated as he looked at Luo Zheng.

"Stop this nonsense! We live in a society governed by law. I don't care about your world matters; anyone who breaks the law won't get away with it. If you really need to fight, find a deserted place, and if soone dies, bury them quietly. Don't scare the common folks. If you defy this, just try it. Causing chaos will place the entire society in danger, and you won't be able to bear the consequences. Don't bla for being rude then." Luo Zheng retorted with a dissatisfied snort.

"Interesting, we'll listen to you this ti." The Elder Lama chuckled.

"That's more like it. It's better for everyone to be amicable. If there's an issue, we will resolve it. If we can't, you're welco to settle accounts with . Alright, it's settled then. Master, please rest; we'll take our leave." Luo Zheng said politely.

"Please stay, I have a few words for you." The Elder Lama said with a smile.

Luo Zheng was taken aback and looked curiously at the Elder Lama. After a mont's thought, he instructed Ghost Hand, "Brother, please do a favor and take the bodies outside to Director Shi for proper handling. Inform him of the situation here and verify the identities of the deceased. You two keep watch at the entrance." He was speaking to Snow Leopard and Mountain Eagle.

"Understood." The three agreed in unison and walked out.

The middle-aged Lama conversed briefly with the Elder Lama in another language, and then signaled Shi Qian to follow him out. Soon, only Luo Zheng and the Elder Lama were left in the room. Luo Zheng looked at the Elder Lama in surprise and asked, "Master, what do you seek from ? Can you tell now?"

"Your body is different from others, with so imbalance between hardness and softness. This might relate to your identity and work, but I won't press for details. In appreciation for the occasions you've protected the Heavenly Pearl, I will teach you a Breathing Skill as a token of gratitude. Are you interested?" The Elder Lama asked with a smile.

"Breathing Skill?" Luo Zheng looked at the Elder Lama in surprise, rembering his family's heirloom Breathing Skill. It was this skill that contributed to his achievents and tis of narrowly escaping death, a foundation of his being. He hadn't expected the Elder Lama to be knowledgeable about it too. Curiously, he replied, "Thank you, Master. Please teach ."

The Elder Lama smiled peacefully and said, "The universe is the grand cosmos, and the human body is the microcosmos. When the microcosmos resonates and breathes with the grand cosmos, there is Unity of Heaven and Man. This Breathing Skill is a health cultivation thod for our sect, enhancing physiological coordination, allowing heightened senses. At its peak, one can hear the crawling of insects within a hundred ters and the blooming of flowers. Listen carefully."

Then, the Elder Lama began to teach the Breathing Skill. Luo Zheng's familial Breathing Skill involved adjusting breathing frequency, intervals, and depth to achieve calm, balanced, soft breaths, enhancing lung capacity and sensitivity, thereby strengthening the constitution and sensory acuity.

Listening for a while, Luo Zheng realized that what the Elder Lama conveyed aligned with his familial skill, which was surprising. He listened intently, discovering the Elder Lama's version contained more depth beyond his knowledge. He grew puzzled and thought, could his ancestral Breathing Skill be incomplete, just one part of a whole?

Thinking of this, Luo Zheng sat down and began modulating his breath according to the latter part of the Elder Lama's instruction. In the past, entry into a ditative state required ti and specific settings, like silence. Now, he found himself swiftly entering a state of emptiness, bringing him great joy. He continued breathing as instructed.

The Elder Lama imdiately recognized the peculiarity, with a touch of surprise on his serene face, and watched Luo Zheng closely without interruption. Luo Zheng, while ditating, keenly sensed Snow Leopard and Mountain Eagle's conversation at the door, heard the breathing of the middle-aged Lama and Shi Qian, and the snores from nearby rooms. His body's qi and blood seed activated, flowing vigorously, while a warm stream coursed through his body, his thoughts exceptionally clear. He was delighted, knowing now wasn't the ti for cultivation, promptly ending the session, and opened his eyes to find the Elder Lama looking at him with amazent. Gratefully, he said, "Thank you, Master, for fulfilling ."

"You know this Breathing Skill?" The Elder Lama inquired seriously.

"Only the first half, not the latter." Luo Zheng replied truthfully. Seeing the Elder Lama's inquisitive look, he further explained, "My ancestors were hunters, making a living through hunting, and passed down a Breathing Skill exactly like what you taught, but only the first half. I had no idea this ancestral Breathing Skill was incomplete. Thank you once again for enlightening , Master."

"I see, it must be fate," remarked the Elder Lama, perceiving no deceit from Luo Zheng, and he continued. "You seem destined to connect with my teachings. Since you've learned it, go now; I'm getting old and need rest. Rember my words and co to the Heavenly Pearl Temple."

"Master, where is the Heavenly Pearl Temple? Also, what is this Breathing Skill called?" Luo Zheng inquired curiously.

"Does it need a na? It's rely a thod of cultivation through breath. If you're willing to join my sect, I can further teach you Martial Arts and more profound ntal thods. However, your fortune lies in the secular world, and you cannot beco a Lama. As for the Heavenly Pearl Temple, it's in the region of the McMahon Line. You are a military man, are you not? Hopefully, your generation can reclaim the lost lands," the Elder Lama said, closing his eyes.

"I understand. Thank you, Master. If the country commands, risking my life is not too steep a price for reclaiming lost land. This is a soldier's mission and duty. I won't disturb you further." Luo Zheng replied solemnly and turned to leave.

Reaching the doorway, Luo Zheng gave Shi Qian a grateful look and said to the middle-aged Lama, "The master is resting; you may go in. My n will stay to assist if needed."

"Thank you, benefactor." The middle-aged Lama said, putting his hands together and offered a curious glance at Luo Zheng before turning into the room without further questions.
