To enhance concealnt, the Equipnt Team provided everyone with desert camouflage battle uniforms that have strong anti-infrared detection features. These uniforms, visible to the naked eye, can achieve invisibility under infrared detection. However, Luo Zheng didn't want to take any chances. To ensure foolproof security, he led everyone into the dune area and quickly shouted: "Scatter, hide, pay attention to the drone's flight path, and hide in the dead angles."

"Yes." Everyone responded in understanding, quickly dispersing, and finding places to hide.

"Shi Qian, follow , Xue Er, you take Cao Xi." Luo Zheng continued, pulling Shi Qian to hide behind a dune and observe the night sky. Soon, a drone flew over, and Luo Zheng focused tightly on the drone's incoming path, guiding Shi Qian around the dune, hiding themselves behind an area unseen by the drone.

Although drones take high-altitude photos, dead angles are few but exist nonetheless. Finding these angles, combined with the anti-infrared combat clothing, greatly reduces the chances of being spotted. As the drone got closer, Luo Zheng pulled Shi Qian down onto the dune quickly, reminding: "Stick closely to the dune, don't move, don't look up, hide your face in the sand."

The face cannot be shielded by anti-infrared equipnt; if captured, it would be troubleso. Luo Zheng didn't dare to be careless. Once the drone whirled away, he finally got up, spat out the sand from his mouth, wiped his face, and looked at the distant drone shouting: "Everyone, don't move yet, let's see the situation."

"Yes," everyone whispered.

"What's the situation? Can we fend off reconnaissance like this?" Shi Qian asked, wiping sand from his face.

"Your desert camouflage combat uniform is specially made; it has high anti-infrared detection capabilities. Chances of being detected are slim. Plus, we've used these dunes for cover. Whether we can evade still remains to be seen. If the drone doesn't return, it ans we've successfully evaded reconnaissance; otherwise, we'll be in big trouble." Luo Zheng explained solemnly, while looking towards the night sky.

After waiting a while, the drone didn't turn back; Luo Zheng breathed a sigh of relief, called out: "Brothers, keep going, make sure to reach the predetermined destination before dawn, advance in three vertical formations, be quick."

"Yes," everyone responded in unison, advancing forward in three columns, jogging along as units.

Luo Zheng led Shi Qian, Cao Xi, and Lan Xue at the back of the team, monitoring Shi Qian and Cao Xi as they ran and noticing their stamina was holding up. He breathed a sigh of relief inwardly and asked: "The weather is getting very cold; are you okay? Let know imdiately if anything feels wrong."

"Understood, this damn desert should be around minus ten degrees now, right?" Shi Qian responded.

"The temperature will continue to drop; it could very well reach minus twenty degrees in three hours. Running consus excessive heat and water; continuous running could lead to exhaustion and dehydration, especially at minus twenty degrees, the body can barely hold up." Cao Xi reminded nearby.

"We're fine; we've trained in extre cold environnts. It's more about you guys; if you can't hold up, let know imdiately, I'll figure sothing out." Luo Zheng quickly answered, pondering. If it were all my brothers, running wouldn't be an issue, but with Shi Qian and Cao Xi in the team, extra consideration was necessary.

"As long as you're fine, we're fine too. I have a pill that can resist the cold, but there's not much left. This thing is very complicated to refine. If it's just for the two of us, it can last a few days." Cao Xi replied.

"There's such a good thing?" Luo Zheng asked in surprise.

"Passed down from our ancestors." Cao Xi replied.

Luo Zheng paused, realizing Cao Xi's family ancestors were grave robbers by trade. Such work often required being in cold places, making it normal to have such cold-resistant pills. Concerning personal privacy, Luo Zheng didn't delve further, laughed: "That's good. My guys don't need it. Just pay attention inside."

The team continued forward; an hour later, the wind intensified significantly, blowing cold sand into the air. Everyone had to pull the scarves from their necks to cover their faces, revealing only tactical goggles. After walking a bit further, the wind grew even stronger, making it hard for people to stand; sand hitting their bodies was very unpleasant.

Raising his hand, Luo Zheng checked his wristwatch; it was around midnight. The surrounding temperature indeed reached minus twenty degrees. Without the specially made cold-resistant clothing, one wouldn't endure it. Observing the terrain around them, there was a dune not far away, rising about twenty ters high. Luo Zheng quickly shouted: "Stop advancing, camp behind the dune."

Everyone quickly halted running, following Luo Zheng to the dune. Behind it was surprisingly a sand pit, about ten ters deep, twenty ters in diater, surrounded by hills, looking like a naturally ford large bowl, wide at the top, narrow at the bottom. Luo Zheng quickly shouted: "Go down there to take shelter from the wind."

"Yes," everyone rushed down. This type of sand pit terrain was very dangerous, always at risk of being filled with windblown sand. Yet, without better options around, taking a gamble was the only choice.

Everyone rushed to the pit's bottom and found the wind was much less intense. They loosened the scarves on their necks for breathing, shook off sand, and Luo Zheng looked up. Fine sands blown by the wind danced around the dune, showing no signs of stopping. The frigid air sucked in felt as if the whole body was freezing stiff, terribly uncomfortable.

This extrely harsh weather made Luo Zheng's face grim, as he shook the fine sand off his scarf, rewrapped it around his neck, looked up at the high-hanging moon, and sternly called: "Brothers, we can't sleep in this damned weather. If really tired, take turns, two in a group to remind each other, no more than ten minutes each."

Sleeping in extre cold is taboo; it's easy to fall into eternal sleep. Everyone understood this, agreed unanimously. Beside them, Lan Xue grimly looked at Luo Zheng and said: "We need to guard against increasing wind strength. If a storm or tornado forms, we can't hide here."

"Indeed." Luo Zheng replied gravely, gazing into the sky thoughtfully.

"Don't worry, it's already the strongest wind now. In a maximum of half an hour, it will weaken." Cao Xi confidently said, looking at the night sky.

"Oh? Why?" Luo Zheng curiously asked.

"Just trust , if not, wait and see." Cao Xi replied, not wanting to elaborate further.

Luo Zheng paused, curiously looking at Cao Xi, seeing his confident expression, sowhat believing him. Nearby, Shi Qian worried Luo Zheng might misunderstand, quickly explained: "Observing stars and distinguishing qi, it's a skill passed down in her family."

"I won't question ancestral inheritance. Let's wait and see." Luo Zheng joked suspiciously.
