Three minutes later, the retreat began. After the people on the left had withdrawn, Shan Hu considered that Luo Zheng, covering the rear without communication devices, would be unmanageable. So he handed over the earphone to Luo Zheng, who, with the assistance of ng Zhu, carefully bypassed the rocks with the captured war trophies and rapidly retreated southward from behind the hillside. Luo Zheng, without hesitation, put on the earphone and continued to calmly observe the front, not missing a single suspicious detail.

As ti ticked by second by second, the howling cold wind filled his ears. Luo Zheng's sharp gaze pierced through the swirling snowflakes, scanning the area ahead, timing silently. In the snowy weather, the speed of the retreat could not be fast; the longer he stayed behind to cover, the safer the retreat would be for everyone.

Soon, perhaps having discovered the retreat, the enemy began to attack with a plan. Through the sniper scope, Luo Zheng spotted three n suddenly erging from beneath the snow, rushing towards his position from the left, middle, and right. The ergence point was only about two hundred ters away from him, which startled him. He couldn't understand how these n had approached so quietly. If they had enough ti, they could have reached him unnoticed. Fortunately, their forced retreat made them opt for a direct assault.

Shooting from a distance of two hundred ters posed no pressure for Luo Zheng. Observing the suddenly exposed three enemies running very fast and their paths unpredictable as they dodged with erratic movent technique—sotis ducking and bending, sotis sprinting sideways, sotis accelerating straight—he hardened his gaze, knowing he was up against true masters, and his combat spirit soared.

A soldier should rise to challenges, facing difficulties and bullets head-on without retreating. Luo Zheng adjusted the sniper rifle and decisively aid at the enemy on the left. It was much harder to aim for the head than the body. Luo Zheng lowered the rifle's muzzle; at this mont, he didn't care about a headshot—as long as he could eliminate the enemy. In the icy, snowy world, a body shot was almost impossible to treat.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!" Luo Zheng fired three shots right away, the bullets lined up in a row. In the severely cold weather with poor visibility, shooting accuracy couldn't be guaranteed; the increasingly irregular wind speeds only added to the reliance on luck. After firing, Luo Zheng calmly and quickly moved the muzzle and aid at the middle target, who had started to take cover in the snow. He then aid at the target on the right and decisively fired.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!" Another three shots passed, and when shooting accuracy could not be guaranteed, the best thod was rapid fire to increase hit rate and simultaneously intimidate with firepower, forcing the enemy not to advance rashly and buying ti. After the three shots, Luo Zheng couldn't see anyone through the sniper scope, nor did he know if he had hit his targets, with only the dancing snowflakes in sight.

After waiting for about a minute with still no movent from the three n, Luo Zheng took the opportunity to change his sniping position, continuing to lock in on the front and watching every visible detail to ensure the enemy wouldn't mount a sneak attack.

Three minutes passed, and there was still no sign of movent ahead. Luo Zheng grew puzzled. If the enemy knew about the retreat, luring from the front and flanking from both sides would be the best tactic. Why was there no movent at all? Could it be that the enemy had already flanked from both sides?

Thinking this, Luo Zheng shivered, hurriedly grabbed his weapon and retreated, quickly squeezing through the space under the huge rock. Suddenly, he heard the sound of shoes slipping on the stones. Having spent a long ti in the rocky hillside, where the stones were covered with a layer of ice, making them completely slippery, Luo Zheng, who had slipped several tis, was all too familiar with this sound. His heart tightened, and he swiftly pulled out the pistol holstered on his thigh, took cover under a nearby huge rock, and kept deathly still, his ears perked up.

The sound just now was extrely faint, and if Luo Zheng hadn't almost slipped several tis, he wouldn't have noticed it at all. Since Shan Hu and ng Zhu had already evacuated, the noise could only an one thing. Luo Zheng took a deep breath, letting the bitterly cold air fill his lungs and force him into calmness as he gripped his gun tightly.

After waiting a while, there was no movent around. Luo Zheng figured the opponent must have realized sothing. Dragging this out was not to his advantage. Looking around, he spotted a small stone underfoot and quickly ca up with a plan. He hooked the stone with the tip of his toes and kicked it gently forward. The stone flew and landed on a rock platform, making a dull sound. Luo Zheng tightened his grasp on the gun, his eyes intensely focused on the direction of the sound. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a Black Shadow flicker past, taking cover behind a giant rock not far away, rely two ters from him, moving incredibly fast.

"Expert," a thought flashed through Luo Zheng's mind, making him even more cautious. Dragging this out was no longer viable. The three n who had attacked directly might be charging over at full speed. Once encircled, he would undoubtedly be dead. There wasn't much ti left, unfortunately, he didn't have a grenade.

Luo Zheng's stern gaze scanned ahead. He quickly ca up with another plan. He took off his military boots, picked one up, and put a stone inside it, then threw it forward. Due to the weight of the stone, the boot landed firmly on the edge of a rock. This position was such that the opponent could see the front of the boot, but not the foot inside it.

After setting this trap, Luo Zheng disregarded the bone-chilling cold ground, his feet wrapped in Wild Wolf skin, landing noiselessly. Opportunities were fleeting. Luo Zheng, like a furtive cat, quickly flanked from the opposite side. With a burst of speed, he leaped onto the rock in front, both hands on his gun, his eyes coldly fixed upfront.

"Bang!" The enemy had fired at the boot. Luo Zheng rushed forward, seeing a man aiming at the partially visible boot, his face full of shock, clearly realizing he had been tricked. In this rare mont of opportunity that ca once in a lifeti, Luo Zheng quickly opened fire.

"Bang Bang Bang!" The pistol roared as three bullets in a triangular formation whistled through the air, all hitting their target.

The target turned, his face filled with terror, his eyes brimming with disbelief, unable to understand how he had been outplayed. His body slumped down like a deflated ball, saying sothing in his dying breath that Luo Zheng couldn't understand. Luo Zheng raised his hand and fired again, the bullet entering right between the eyes, and the body slid to the ground, sitting upright, eyes wide open in death.

Luo Zheng rushed forward, grabbed the enemy's headset, and started listening. Inside, many people were rapidly communicating. Luo Zheng couldn't understand it but hung the headset around his neck and climbed onto a nearby higher rock. Through the sniper scope, there was no trace of the three n who had directly ambushed him; it was unclear whether they had hidden or fled.

At this critical juncture, Luo Zheng couldn't afford to be careless. After closely monitoring for a while and still spotting no suspicious activity, he fired a few shots at several possible targets to mark his presence. The bullets buried into the snow layer, eliciting no response. After waiting a bit, Luo Zheng quickly slipped down from the rock and started inspecting the enemy he had just taken down.
