The night was too dark to discern anything. Luo Zheng pondered for a mont, signaled to Shadow to go back first and talk later. There were scarcely any people around at night, and lingering too long could arouse suspicion. Shadow agreed with a nod, and they got into the car, turned around, and headed back. On the way, Luo Zheng was deep in thought about his recent discovery. The terrain was complex, and the enemy situation was unclear, making the task incredibly challenging.

"Is it very troubling for you?" Shadow suddenly spoke softly, her gaze serious as she focused on driving. Her eyes glittered like cold stars, yet they concealed a hint of concern as she continued, "I've scouted the surroundings at least three tis, finding no breakthrough. The guards change their defense daily, making them unpredictable."

"It's as solid as a fortress," Luo Zheng said with so bitterness, "The enemy's defense is so strict, it's really difficult to imagine just a few of us breaking in to rescue soone."

"Difficult?" Shadow was taken aback, her acute senses picking up on sothing. She pressed, "Do you have any ideas? Share them, I'll handle the execution."

"With you around, I don't have to embarrass myself in a fight. I do have a rough idea, but it's not well-ford yet. Let's do this—I feel a bit dizzy, probably from the long flight and lack of rest. Let's talk more after I wake up tomorrow. By the way, get a detailed map of the area around Fushan." Luo Zheng said with a smile as he closed his eyes to rest.

"No problem." Shadow perked up at the ntion of Luo Zheng having an idea. Regardless of its feasibility, it was a good start. The thought of rescuing Ye Laixiang lifted her spirits considerably, and she unconsciously accelerated the vehicle. Seeing Luo Zheng resting with his eyes closed, she didn't speak any further and drove attentively.

When they returned to the Embassy, Luo Zheng saw that Shadow's room was opposite his and couldn't help but smile. Noticing that Lan Xue and the others hadn't gone to sleep and were coming out of their rooms, he was surprised. Seeing everyone's worried faces ward his heart, and he said, "Let's sit in my room for a while." With that, he threw a aningful glance at Shadow.

To their surprise, except for Lan Xue, no one recognized Shadow. Lan Xue hadn't expected Shadow to take the initiative to find Luo Zheng, and since they had gone out together, she guessed they must have had important business. She gestured for everyone to enter Luo Zheng's room, where they all found places to sit.

"Let introduce you all. This is the legendary Shadow," Luo Zheng said with a smile.

"My role model, my idol, I am Ghost Hand." Ghost Hand was shocked and quickly stepped forward to salute with utter respect.

Mountain Eagle and Snow Leopard also ca forward to pay their respects and introduced themselves. In the presence of Shadow, who was regarded as the likeliest candidate to beco the Strongest Soldier King, everyone was full of admiration. Apart from his capabilities, his military achievents occupied a significant area of the honor room at the base, each one commanding imnse respect.

Shadow greeted everyone with great humility, appearing affable and kind, more like a big brother than boasting any airs. He didn't seem like a master at all, which made everyone feel closer to him. After the introductions, Shadow's tone changed as he said gratefully, "Ladies and gentlen, thank you for coming to help ."

"What are you saying, this is you giving us credit. Besides, it's our duty and mission; there's no talk of helping you," Ghost Hand quickly responded politely.

"Are you being thick-headed?" Luo Zheng reprimanded, clearly unimpressed.

Ghost Hand was taken aback for a mont, then looked towards Shadow and suddenly thought of sothing. With a sly laugh, he didn't continue the topic and turned to Luo Zheng, asking, "You guys just went out and didn't call , that's not cool. Are you about to take action?"

"The mission is quite challenging." Luo Zheng briefly summarized the basic situation before concluding, "It's getting late. Let's all go back and rest, we'll talk more tomorrow."

Everyone's expression turned solemn after hearing Luo Zheng's summary. It was indeed a serious matter, and they couldn't co up with any ideas for the mont, so they left one after another. Shadow returned to his own room, took out a map, and Luo Zheng, after seeing Shadow off, closed the door and carefully examined the map, contemplating rescue thods.

The enemy's defense was tight; a frontal assault was out of the question. Since they couldn't break in, there were only two thods left. One was to lure the target out, and the other was to make the enemy hand them over. Luring them out would be difficult, given the heavily guarded prison and the imperial guards watching over it, which indicated that the inmates weren't ordinary. Thinking about luring them out—difficult!

The challenge of having them handed over was even greater. How could Japan easily give up Ye Laixiang? A forceful approach could cause a dispute between two countries, even lead to war. Conventional thods were ineffective; Luo Zheng racked his brains but couldn't figure it out and eventually decided to close his eyes and go to sleep.

The next morning, everyone got up and went to the Embassy's cafeteria for breakfast. Shadow appeared dressed like an administrative staff mber, not at all hinting at his expertise as a master. Luo Zheng was impressed; the man could really resemble anything he pretended to be, and it was no wonder he was considered a potential candidate for Strongest Soldier King. With people all around and the fact that everyone's public identity was as staff, they naturally couldn't speak carelessly—who could guarantee there were no Japanese spies around?

After a hearty al, everyone went back to Luo Zheng's room for a eting. Luo Zheng, seeing the expectant look in Shadow's eyes, pondered for a mont before saying, "Let's do this, we go to Fushan and do so reconnaissance first."

"That works." Shadow was not disappointed. On the contrary, he had more respect for Luo Zheng. Without absolute certainty, he would not speak rashly. Being cautious was a good thing.

The group got an embassy car with local plates to avoid trouble, and after an hour and a half, they arrived near Fushan. Most of Fushan was a tourist area, and the back mountain was a military forbidden zone. Casual approach would lead to expulsion. Tourist areas were open to the public during the day, with many tourists from different countries. The group parked the car at the entrance to the mountain and blended into the crowd heading towards Fushan.

Along the way, Luo Zheng carefully observed the surroundings—where there were ditches, where the trees were lush, where there were paths, and so on, all of which he ntally noted. Unknowingly, they arrived at a hillside, blown by the refreshing mountain breeze, and looking into the distance, Shadow whispered, "The military forbidden zone is about five kiloters ahead, with barbed wire. There are 24-hour patrols, sniffer dogs, and the barbed wire is electrified. I once tried to sneak in and got caught."

"Oh?" Luo Zheng looked at Shadow with so surprise. With Shadow's skills, there shouldn't be a reason for him to be discovered?

"The patrol is not much, but they have reconnaissance radars, infrared detectors, and motion sensors, hidden among the bushes, hard to guard against. By the ti you realize it, it's already too late," Shadow explained in a low voice.

"Damn!" Luo Zheng was taken aback; this was the passage leading to the back mountain, the weakest link of the military forbidden zone, and the only place they could potentially infiltrate secretly. He had not expected the defense to be so tight, making it impossible to blend in. What to do? Luo Zheng's gaze towards the front beca heavier with worry and solemnity.

"Unless we had an army, the difficulty of getting in is high. I still have a high chance of getting in alone, but once inside, I'd be blind, and it's not guaranteed that I could rescue anyone. Don't forget, there are guards inside, and we have no clear layout of the prison, let alone knowing the exact place where the person is being held," Shadow spoke softly, his expression serious.
