In the woods, Luo Zheng was like a nimble monkey, swinging on vines deeper into the forest. After covering thirty or so ters in one swing, Luo Zheng stopped to rest on the branch of a tree, looking back to see if his pursuers had caught up. Realizing the danger was not yet over, he suddenly felt sothing above his head.

Luo Zheng was startled and crouched down before turning to look. He discovered it was a snake and breathed a sigh of relief. Standing up, he grabbed it, ready to throw it away when he rembered he hadn't eaten all day. He couldn't help but laugh, grabbed both ends of the snake, and with a powerful shake, he snapped its spine.

Without the support of its spine, the snake's body went limp. Luo Zheng used Tiger Teeth to nail the snake's head to the tree, tore off its skin in one motion, and, after peeling the skin off, he picked up the snake and started to tear and chew. To him, eating raw, snakes were the best choice, followed by fish.

Perhaps it was the pangs of hunger, but Luo Zheng devoured the flesh as if he were a wild man. In the forest, food ant life, and he didn't know when he would get the chance to eat again. He chewed and swallowed the snake at with a frown, disgusted but too desperate to worry about it.

In the face of death, nothing else seed to matter. Eating raw was nothing, and Luo Zheng swallowed all the at from the snake, feeling nauseous but steeling himself to keep it down. To survive, there was no choice. He pulled out Tiger Teeth and left the remains on the branch, then grabbed a vine and swung deeper into the forest.

By now, a large group of pursuers had reached the outskirts of this dense forest. They were sowhat wary of the forest and did not rush in imdiately. Turul and Balang also arrived from different locations, contemplating the forest. At this ti, mbers of the Reincarnation Killer Organization and Japanese ninja also converged from various directions.

A tall Reincarnation Killer with a sullen face looked at Turul and asked, not very politely, "Why don't we pursue inside?"

Turul glanced at the tall man and, seeing the short Japanese ninja also looking furious, let out a cold laugh and said, "Easier said than done. Do you know what this place is? Around here, it has a na: Devil Forest. It's extrely dangerous inside. No one can enter and co out alive. Years ago, an expeditionary army tried to pass through. Nearly ten thousand n went in, and not a single one survived."

"That bastard is different," the tall one said discontentedly, not caring about the dangers Turul ntioned. As a top-level assassin, what dangers hadn't he faced?

"Fine, then you go," Turul said unhappily, noticing the annoyed Japanese ninja about to say sothing and adding coldly, "If you want to pursue, then pursue. I'll call in reinforcents to surround the area to prevent escape. You said he's different, right? Well, we'll handle it as if he's different. You pursue, I take care of the periter and prevent him from sneaking away. Is that satisfactory?"

The tall assassin and the short Japanese ninja exchanged a glance, understanding that Turul was afraid of dying and of sacrificing his n. They were inwardly angry but had no choice. Turul championed his own realm and was a force to be reckoned with. Everyone's relationship was cooperative, and no one could command the other. On second thought, they realized having Turul's n surrounding the periter was a good thing, as it prevented the target from escaping.

Thus, more than a dozen people rushed into the woods. Turul, watching those who stord into the trees, smiled coldly and said to Balang, "A bunch of arrogant fools who want to die can go by themselves, we won't get involved. Send word to seal off all possible escape routes around here, and moreover, dispatch two thousand troops to co here, we absolutely cannot let that bastard get away."

"Understood." Balang, wishing he could tear Luo Zheng into pieces, readily agreed and went to pass on the orders.

In the Devil Forest, Luo Zheng had no idea where he had gotten into, only feeling that it was getting colder the further he went as if countless Death Gods and Demons were staring at him. He dared not continue forward and stopped on a large tree branch, quickly climbing up to the canopy. He chopped off a Flying Snake that tried to attack and, grabbing onto a branch to stabilize himself, peered through the gaps in the leaves. It was getting dark; it seed he would have to spend the night here.

Spending the night in a tree was a technical task that required one to secure their body; otherwise, one might fall out without noticing in a half-asleep state in the middle of the night. Without tools, the best way to secure oneself was to use vines. Luo Zheng was about to get so when he suddenly heard a buzzing sound and was startled. Looking towards the sound, he saw a huge swarm of black clouds flying over.

"Hiss?" Luo Zheng was shocked and braced himself, feeling an ominous presence of death sweeping over him. His hairs stood on end and his heart pounded with terror, "What on earth is that?"

While he was puzzling over it, Luo Zheng saw a figure approaching rapidly from a distance, moving at an incredible speed. He was taken aback, and on closer inspection, it was a person dressed as a Ninja, barely discernible in the dim forest. Luo Zheng had not expected the pursuers to catch up so quickly. As the buzzing sound grew closer, he hurriedly turned his head and saw the swarm pouncing on him like Mount Tai bearing down, with a ferocity that was nightmarishly eerie.

"Are those mosquitoes?" The black cloud neared, and Luo Zheng could see clearly, which horrified him. A swarm of mosquitoes was no laughing matter, and these mosquitoes, the size of the ends of chopsticks and brightly colored, were certainly not ordinary. Luo Zheng watched as the mosquitoes swooped in, his face turning pale, drenched in a cold sweat, holding his breath and daring not to move, silently praying they wouldn't discover him.

Mosquitoes in the primitive forest were different from the ones at ho—they were larger, wilder, carrying various germs and viruses. Even the Fierce Beasts of the forest only had the option of evading them. How could Luo Zheng dare to provoke them? With the mosquitoes drawing closer and having no chance to escape, and Ninja still pursuing him from below, the situation was extrely critical. What should he do?

In his panic, Luo Zheng stared hard at the overwhelming swarm of mosquitoes, not knowing what to do. Watching the mosquitoes close in just a few ters away, the buzzing sounded like the malicious laughter of Demons, driving him to despair. His eardrums vibrated, and his brain lost its ability to think normally; Luo Zheng felt his muscles stiffen, clueless about what to do. In front of the swarming mosquitoes, Luo Zheng realized how insignificant he was.

There was no escape; descending from the tree canopy to the ground would take at least a minute, and within that minute, the mosquitoes would have already sward over him; there was no defeating them, either. With so many mosquitoes and no tools at hand, how could he fight? Luo Zheng grimaced in resignation, not expecting to be bullied by a swarm of mosquitoes. And these mosquitoes looked terrifyingly unusual. It seed this ti, there was truly no escape; he could only hope that Xue Er and the others would complete their mission successfully.

Thinking this, Luo Zheng glared furiously, angrily watching the mosquitoes flying towards him. If he was to die, he wanted to die fighting, even if his enemy was mosquitoes, he refused to sit idly by waiting for death. He would take so mosquitoes down with him if he was going to die. Luo Zheng clutched his Tiger Teeth, staring coldly at the mosquitoes just a ter away, his fighting spirit soaring to the skies.
