In the cold moonlight, the dense forest was chaotic as nurous militants furiously fired at the swarms of bats overhead, screaming wildly, their eyes flashing a demonic red. Soon, their bodies fell backward, yet their guns did not stop firing, causing countless injuries to those around them, with so even being shot dead on the spot.

More people chose to leave the campfires to avoid being hit by their deranged comrades. However, leaving the campfire ant getting bitten by the bats, and more people began to lose control of their emotions. Luo Zheng saw this and imdiately realized that the bats were poisonous, their toxin inducing irritability and causing loss of reason.

Turul also noticed this, and angrily glanced at the short Japan rcenary and quickly commanded, "Quick, pull your n back, rally to , and concentrate fire on the bats in the sky."

Upon hearing the order, everyone rushed over; their guns roaring. As for those bitten and out of their minds, no one bothered with them. The Japan rcenary and the assassins also realized sothing was wrong. Although they knew Luo Zheng might seize the chance to escape, the situation was completely out of control. With a shared glance that communicated their understanding, they ordered their people to disperse and lie in ambush, keeping a vigilant watch.

Before long, Turul's ard troops had gathered together, hundreds of n firing wildly at the dark mass of bats above while so cleverly added more wood to the fire, brightening the flas to ward off the bats. Luo Zheng watched this scene unfold, realized what was happening, and was overjoyed. Seeing an opportunity to escape, he quickly surveyed the area, chose his escape path, and dashed forward.

In the darkness, Luo Zheng moved through the forest like a ghost, silent yet incredibly fast. He leaped to a campfire, crawling up to soone only to find them already dead, their eyes eerily red, killed by the bat poison. Luo Zheng swiftly confiscated the person's AK-47, glanced around, and hurriedly collected magazines from several other bodies as well.

This place was not safe to linger. Luo Zheng quickly took off a dead body's clothes and put them over his head, then charged forward. Countless bats swooped at him, but the clothing blocked them, narrowly avoiding disaster, though it still alard Luo Zheng, who increased his sprinting pace, rushing out dozens of ters and escaping the bats' attack radius.

Hiding in the bushes, the assassin and Japan ninja noticed Luo Zheng's unusual behavior, wearing a covering that obscured his face, and not regrouping towards Turul, imdiately arousing suspicion and prompting them to pursue him.

Unaware he had drawn the attention of the ninja and assassin, Luo Zheng speeded up. After completely breaking out of the encirclent, he tossed aside the clothes and continued running with the AK-47, not looking back, to avoid being caught by the terrifying bats that could kill a person.

In the perilous dark, Luo Zheng slowed down after escaping the encirclent, crouched beside a dense cluster of bushes to check his weapon. Upon confirming there were no issues, his confidence surged. With a gun in hand, he felt invincible. Suddenly, the rustle of footsteps reached his ears, startling him. Knowing he was being watched and recognizing the darkness was not conducive to fighting, he considered his options and rolled into the bushes.

The bushes were full of lush weeds and low trees interspersed with thorns that painfully pricked his hands and body, but Luo Zheng dared not move. He gritted his teeth and frowned, slowly extending his gun, calmly observing ahead. By the moonlight, Luo Zheng spotted six figures lined up and swiftly approaching: three ninjas and, he guessed, the other three were assassins.

"Six people?" Luo Zheng did not know that five people had died in the forest, three of whom were ninjas, and two were assassins. These were formidable opponents, but recklessly running around in the dark was even more dangerous. Luo Zheng decided to stay put and launch a surprise attack; even taking down one or two would be a victory. Concentrating and staying calm, he coldly watched the approaching enemy. His wide-open eyes slightly closed, concealing his overwhelming killing intent.

This mission was a near-certain death trap, and he still didn't know if the hostages had been rescued. This ignited a fiery anger in Luo Zheng. Watching the enemy draw nearer, his index finger slowly pressed on the trigger. The AK47 might not be very accurate, but its rapid firing rate and long range ant that hitting the target was still highly likely even in burst mode.

The enemy approached rapidly, but suddenly stopped about fifty ters away. They crouched down, vanishing into the bushes. This frustrated Luo Zheng, who was ready to fire, forcing him to suppress his emotions and wait. However, the enemy seed to have disappeared altogether, never re-erging.

"Could I have been spotted?" Luo Zheng wondered in astonishnt. His stern gaze searched ahead, finding nothing unusual, but he dared not move, feeling the weight of a stone pressing on his chest. An idea flashed through his mind; he quickly grabbed a stone and threw it toward a bush ten ters away.

"Da-da-da!" Suddenly, a gun spat out fiery tongues, and bullets crazily struck the bush where the stone had landed, ferociously revealing its position but also exposing itself.

Luo Zheng was shocked to realize that these opponents, true experts, had silently approached to within just ten ters. Ignoring the risk of exposure, he quickly aid at the revealed firing position and opened fire, "Da-da-da!" Bullets sprayed furiously, a muffled groan sounding eerily in the quiet night.

Attacking ant exposure. Luo Zheng was acutely aware of this and knew that the others were experts as well. While firing, he rolled to the side, constantly adjusting his shooting position. Suddenly, he felt a barrage of bullets sweeping towards him and knew the enemy had realized his position. He rolled again and sprinted forward.

The assault and the retreat had taken rely two seconds. Luo Zheng sprinted a few steps, then abruptly changed direction. Almost at the sa ti, bullets attacked the area, striking the ground with a fluttering sound. If Luo Zheng hadn't changed direction and fired, he would have been undoubtedly killed. He knew it wasn't over yet. After running a few steps, he changed direction again, dashing in another direction.

Bullets chased after Luo Zheng, who, bending over, ran in the classic Bullet Avoidance Steps. With the AK47 turned backward, firing blindly as he ran, this shooting was very inaccurate but still had a deterrent effect. The pursuing n were startled, thinking Luo Zheng had stopped to counterattack. They cautiously lay down to hide. By the ti they realized the situation, Luo Zheng had already run far, quickly disappearing into the dimly lit forest.

Two ninjas drew their long swords, swords pointing backwards, crouching and with a fierce glint in their eyes. They exchanged a glance, nodded firmly, and chased ahead. The three assassins exchanged looks as well and promptly followed.
