"Hiss?" Balang's face changed drastically as he hesitated, watching Turul leave. The man continued, "The General had to pursue with troops; with so many dead, an explanation was necessary, otherwise a mutiny might occur. But it's different for you. Just now, the General's glance as he left clearly warned you to take your n back ho, secure the household, and preserve our strength. There are still more than two thousand people at ho, we absolutely must not fall into chaos, soone needs to be in charge. Think about it, what would happen if news of a defeat got back ho?"

Balang's face changed again as he looked toward Turul's disappearing figure, his expression growing solemn. After a mont, Balang made his decision. At his command, he led his team back, completely unaware of the scornful cold light flickering in the eyes of the man who had just spoken.

Turul, pursuing with his n for a distance, saw bodies lying everywhere in the rain, their blood profusely seeping out, mixing with the rainwater and flowing down the slopes—a horrific sight. As Turul stepped on the blood-stained ground, it seed as though the souls of the warriors were weeping. Feeling a chill in his heart, he grew even more hateful towards Luo Zheng and his companions.

Then a warrior rushed over in haste, delivering the news that Balang had led his n to withdraw. Turul's face darkened drastically; he turned and looked behind him, but his vision was obscured by the torrential rain, a misty haze where nothing could be seen. Furious, he yelled, "Ungrateful wretches, you'll settle this with when we return!"

The news of Balang's withdrawal spread quickly, striking a blow to the morale and spirit of the army. The pursuit slowed down, lacking the previous decisiveness; warriors glanced intermittently at Turul, and had it not been for Turul's high prestige and his generally fair treatnt of his n, they would have disbanded long ago. As Turul watched Luo Zheng and the others firing continuously ahead, a sorrowful feeling of a hero's end surged within him; he roared, "Brothers, fight! For every enemy killed, rank up three levels and a reward of one hundred thousand!"

Truly a formidable force, Turul keenly sensed the dip in morale and, at this critical mont, deployed the Big Killer. The promise of rank advancent and a substantial reward of one hundred thousand invigorated the warriors; their eyes blazing red, they howled and charged forward.

Luo Zheng felt the pressure mounting, but being unable to shake off the pursuers, he had to psych up and respond. Fortunately, their retreat quickened a bit, pulling further away from their pursuers. During the retreat, Scholar wore a grim expression, constantly thinking of strategies to extricate the team, as their ammunition was nearly depleted and they couldn't afford a prolonged fight.

"If it really cos to it, we'll have to make a harsh decision," Scholar thought secretly, glancing at Luo Zheng. He yelled, "Captain, you go first; I'll cover for the team for a while."

"Bullshit, when have I ever abandoned my brothers and run away alone? Hurry, fight the enemy, damn it! Co on, let's see how long you can chase!" Luo Zheng roared, continuing to fire at the visible pursuers. Suddenly rembering sothing, he cursed under his breath, backing against a big tree and reaching for the military pack behind him.

This operation, Luo Zheng carried a lot of equipnt. The guns, out of ammunition, had been taken back by Lan Xue and others, but in the military pack was a Button-shaped Intense Ti Bomb, ready to stick and explode after just a few seconds, very convenient for use. With all grenades used up, they were left relying on bullets, which weren't very powerful.

"Listen to !" Luo Zheng roared, his voice overpowering the sound of gunfire and reaching everyone's ears.

Once everyone had turned their attention to him, Luo Zheng picked up a Button-shaped Intense Ti Bomb and shouted, "This specially made explosive tears through protection; stick it anywhere, and it explodes in ten seconds, extrely powerful. Everyone, co over and take one; let's give the pursuers a fierce blow."

Everyone's eyes lit up, and they all smiled imdiately. The scholar was the first to rush over, grabbed a few, and hid them; the others also hurried over to take so. After everyone had gotten theirs, Luo Zheng also took a few, secured his backpack, and, seeing the enemy approaching, yelled, "Keep them hidden, and don't shoot."

Everyone, understanding his command, nodded. They looked at the pursuing troops, their calm faces now bearing a cold smirk, and hid themselves, waiting for the order. After a while, Luo Zheng estimated the distance, felt it was about right, and shouted loudly, "Get ready and then retreat quickly."

"Yes," everyone whispered and swiftly placed the Button-shaped Intense Ti Bombs on the trees before turning to run. The sudden ergence from their cover startled the pursuers, but the pursuers quickly regrouped, seeing that their targets were only a few dozen ters away, and their spirits soared as they chased, howling and accelerating.

Turul felt a twinge of unease but couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. He did not order his troops to stop, to avoid affecting their morale, but he slowed his own pace and observed the situation ahead calmly. Seeing more of his subordinates charge forward with high spirits, his heart inexplicably clenched.

"Not good," Turul, feeling increasingly uneasy, was about to order his troops to stop when an unbelievable scene unfolded.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" A dozen Button-shaped Intense Ti Bombs exploded almost simultaneously. The ground shook, and smoke billowed, resembling a giant red cloud like the Death God, swallowing nearly a hundred people around it. Trees as thick as bowls were blown into chaotic flight, screams intertwined with the flying limbs and flesh.

"No?" Turul let out a hysterical roar, watching as nearly a hundred of his subordinates were blown up in an instant. His eyes turned blood red, his chest heaving rapidly, his mouth agape, filled with despair, confusion, and endless hatred towards Luo Zheng and others—a hatred so deep it could fill three rivers.

"Kill, kill them all!" Turul roared, as if mad, charging forward with his gun, firing recklessly ahead.

The terrified warlords, seeing the frenzied Turul, regained their courage and, with cold faces, fired crazily ahead, chasing after him. Turul, unaware that his actions had once again boosted their morale, saw only the drive to kill, endless killing.

"Dada dada!" The dense hail of bullets drowned out even the sound of the storm as Turul led his n to the site of the explosion. They saw bodies scattered everywhere, and so severely injured people still groaning on the ground. A soldier, whose legs had been blown off, aimlessly tried to crawl forward, his face as pale as paper.

Perhaps he saw Turul, and the color briefly returned to his blank eyes, but he couldn't crawl any further. He painfully stretched out his bloodied hand towards Turul, his lips moving as if screaming: Save .

Driven mad by hatred, Turul didn't spare another glance at his fallen n and roared as he continued to charge forward. The injured soldier, watching Turul disappear into the distance, saw his gaze dissipate, his hand, stretched into the Void, fell hopelessly, splashing blood, his eyes slowly closed, his face marked by sorrow.
