The alarm in the prison blared, and the warning broadcasted, all the inmates retreated, but Luo Zheng didn't go back imdiately. Instead, he grabbed another strong man who had been beaten to death at the doorway and threw him down into the courtyard. He flipped off soone hiding upstairs with a disdainful sneer, causing an uproar. Only then did he slowly return to his own cell. Soon, the surroundings regained their quiet, as if nothing had happened.

In a concealed spot upstairs was an observation room where the warden watched this scene coldly and in silence. After a while, without saying anything, he turned and left. Making his way through several corridors, he reached his office, locked the door behind him, and sat down on the leather sofa. He turned to look at the middle-aged man sitting leisurely to one side, sipping tea, his expression turning cold and discontent. He snapped, "Old friend, you've brought a big problem. You saw the surveillance just now, didn't you?"

"Of course, I'm very grateful for the assistance you've provided, allowing to witness a fight to the death and see his combat abilities for myself," the middle-aged man said indifferently, as if it was of no concern to him. It was none other than Song Yan.

Once Song Yan realized the mistake he had made, he thought of a way to imprison Luo Zheng and managed to secretly transfer him to this prison. He knew the warden, with whom he was not especially close, but he also knew that the warden had a specific hobby—money. By sliding a check for ten million, the warden beca friendly with Song Yan, asking no questions and agreeing to incarcerate Luo Zheng and ensure he didn't die.

After the fight just now, the warden felt he may have made a mistake that could ruin his career. He wavered, but Song Yan, keen as ever, imdiately sensed the warden's state of mind. If it were possible, Song Yan would have turned and walked away, but he couldn't think of a better prison than this one. His heart was filled with bitterness, though he feigned happiness and said, "Warden, you worry too much. I've only entrusted him to your care. As long as he doesn't die, it's fine. However you want to handle it is up to you. If it doesn't work out, just keep him locked in his cell, then there won't be any trouble, right?" With that, he pushed another check of cash across the table.

The warden looked at the figures on the check and imdiately bead, readily taking it and said joyfully, "Great, old friends know best. We'll do as you say. Oh, and my daughter is graduating soon. I've heard that schools in your country are pretty good, do you know about that?"

"No problem, I'll arrange for her to attend the best school, to foster friendship between the youth of our two nations," Song Yan raged inwardly but had no choice but to smile and reply politely, "I'll leave this person in your care, and I'd like to see a live video clip of him every week, preferably not too grueso, is that okay?"

"Of course, what's so hard about that?" the warden, seeing Song Yan agree to his request, completely eased his worry. With money to gain and family arrangents made with no worries of the future, even if sothing went wrong, what could it matter? The warden, now without any concerns, fully aligned himself with Song Yan.

Song Yan also breathed a sigh of relief, got up, and said, "Then, I'm counting on you. I don't want anyone to have contact with this person or even know of his existence. To thank you for your help, I'll provide a monthly sum for your daughter, ensuring she won't suffer any mistreatnt."

"Don't worry, I've already arranged an isolated cell. No one here knows his real identity, including myself. From today onward, he'll only be identified by a code na, 13, an unlucky number, the incarnation of the devil. No one will want to get involved with such an unlucky figure." The warden bead with confidence. In his own domain, the warden was sure of this.

"That's good to know. I'll keep in touch with you," Song Yan said, seeing that everything had been arranged properly. There was no need for him to stay here any longer; to linger would be akin to being imprisoned, no different from Luo Zheng, except perhaps for the treatnt he received. Song Yan didn't like being confined, and there was a whole exciting world waiting for him outside.

...

After Song Yan left, Luo Zheng, not aware of his departure, sat silently on the bed, regulating his breath. The fight just now had caused his wound to rip open again, causing unbearable pain. His tiger-like eyes slightly closed, and his brows furrowed tightly until soone pushed food in. Luo Zheng didn't stop his ditation, ti ticking by second by second. He didn't know how much ti had passed when he slowly opened his eyes, feeling sowhat better. He got out of bed, picked up the now cold food off the floor, and began to eat.

The food was extrely unappetizing, but to survive, he had to grit his teeth and endure. Luo Zheng buried his hatred deep within and silently tolerated everything, forcing himself to swallow all the food in his wrist and then gulping down water. With food in his stomach, he felt considerably more comfortable, which helped restore so of his spirits. He began to contemplate.

Why didn't the hidden gunman shoot to stop him? What place is this exactly? What is Song Yan really up to? With endless doubts, Luo Zheng slowly drifted to sleep, completely unaware of the many people who had quietly co to his cell's door, pensively observing his cell, their faces in deep thought.

A fierce character had arrived in the prison, and many things were sure to change. Everyone was making their own calculations. All around was silent, no sounds to be heard. The lights were swiftly extinguished, yet so prisoners did not feel like sleeping and continued to stare at Luo Zheng's cell in deep thought.

Ti flowed, second by second. The prison was eerily quiet, soon filled with the sound of snoring, coming in waves. The prisoners started to fall asleep, but Luo Zheng woke up. He walked to the door, looking out coldly. After this battle, he believed no one would dare provoke him again so easily; he had established his footing here. However, how was he going to escape from this sturdy prison?

Before long, another question occurred to Luo Zheng. All the prisoners seed fierce and belligerent – what level of criminals were they? Could they all be death row inmates? Perhaps so, otherwise the prison authorities wouldn't just stand by as a prisoner was beaten to death without intervening. When soone died, the prisoners were not frightened, an indication that death was a common occurrence here.

A prison that frequently saw brawls and death was obviously not simple. After reaching this conclusion, Luo Zheng beca somber and alert. What was Song Yan's purpose in sending him to this prison? To have the inmates kill him? That seed unlikely; when he had passed out, it would have been too easy to finish him off. If not that, then there could only be one explanation: to use the defenses of this place to trap him in the prison until death.

Reflecting on this, Luo Zheng felt a certain admiration for Song Yan's sche. As long as he didn't die, by intermittently sending back surveillance footage, Lan Xue and the others would hesitate, not daring to trouble the Song family. This way, the Song family would be safe. As for Song Yan himself, he probably found a place to hide by now. It seed that if he wanted to get out, he could only rely on himself. But how should he escape from this place? As Luo Zheng looked around the cells, a crazy idea slowly ford in his mind.
