Stealthily advancing, they occasionally found a corpse along the way, and shockingly, all of them were mbers of the Alpha Special Forces. They confiscated the grenades from the bodies; the bullets were of different calibers and were of no use. As they moved on, Luo Zheng's expression grew increasingly grim. The Alpha, a world-renowned special forces team, had all perished here, while none of those who ran out of the training camp were dead. Suddenly, a na flashed through his mind: the Death God Killer Organization.

"Could it be that those who escaped are mbers of the Death God Killer Organization?" Luo Zheng pondered in surprise, then quickly ca to a realization. Most of the people trained in the camps were sent to terrorist organizations, while the top individuals were recruited into the Death God Killer Organization. Under the siege of the Arctic Bear Country's army, only the top individuals would have the ability to escape.

Luo Zheng quietly discussed this situation with everyone, and they all agreed. Suddenly, the roaring sound of helicopter propellers ca from the horizon. Everyone's faces darkened, guessing what it was. They looked towards Luo Zheng, who said in a low and serious voice, "Quick, we can't keep following this path. Disperse imdiately and et at the mountaintop diagonally across from here."

"Yes," everyone responded in low voices, understanding the plan and dispersing towards the opposite mountain.

While running, they saw an ard helicopter swoop in and charge ahead, causing them to speed up, running like wild wolves. Half an hour later, from different routes, everyone rushed to the top of the mountain and, after regrouping, continued forward until they stopped in a woodland area with a good view. They raised their sniper scopes to observe.

Luo Zheng raised his binoculars and saw an ard helicopter firing into the forest from above in the distance. Bullets roared down like torrential rain. It was too far to see clearly. Everyone looked towards Luo Zheng, who thought for a mont and said, "It must be the Alpha requesting reinforcents after severe losses. We should go and have a look."

"Yes," they replied in unison and began to move quickly along the mountain ridge. After about half an hour, they suddenly saw the ard helicopter lose control, tumbling erratically before crashing into the forest and bursting into a red cloud followed by billowing black smoke. Everyone's faces changed drastically as they realized the ard helicopter had also been taken down by those people.

"Pick up the pace," Luo Zheng ordered in a low voice. With a series of failures, he believed those people would take the opportunity to withdraw. If they were late, all the leads would be gone. Everyone agreed and once again accelerated their march.

Half an hour later, they reached the site of the ard helicopter explosion. They saw the dead Alpha Special Forces mbers, along with over a dozen ard militants—there were no survivors. Luo Zheng's face turned grim, and he ordered in a low voice, "Spread out and search. Don't let those bastards get away."

They all acknowledged and dispersed to search. They soon discovered traces on the ground—bloodstains. Soone was injured but had been taken away. Luo Zheng crouched to examine the evidence and, confirming it was correct, said with rising anger, "These people are skilled. They took out two Alpha Special Forces teams. Everyone, be careful. Mountain Eagle, lead the way. The rest, spread out and maintain a distance of over ten ters. Snow Leopard, Ghost Hand, cover the flanks. Xue Er, support Mountain Eagle. I'll cover the rear."

"Understood," they responded as one and dispersed accordingly.

Luo Zheng fell to the back of the group, continually observing the traces on the ground. After about half an hour, a river appeared ahead, blocking their path. The traces disappeared at the river's edge. Everyone's faces grew tense as they pondered their next move. Luo Zheng spoke in a cold tone, "Let's follow the current downstream."

"Why?" Ghost Hand asked curiously.

"Arctic Bear suffered heavy losses, they will definitely send a large force to encircle and suppress us. Those who remain will stand the best chance of survival if they take the water route. Going upstream is westward, which is the originally planned direction of retreat for these people, but it's too slow. Going downstream to the east is faster, and they're less likely to be discovered," Luo Zheng analyzed.

Everyone fell into deep thought. This decision was crucial, as it would determine whether the mission could be completed. Everyone took it seriously. Suddenly, Ghost said, "Ghost's analysis makes sense, I agree with going downstream."

"Agree," Mountain Eagle and Snow Leopard also said one after another, and everyone looked toward Lan Xue.

As the team leader, Lan Xue had the final decision-making power. Lan Xue also felt that Luo Zheng's analysis was reasonable, but if it was wrong, they would lose track of these people. Where then would they find the Tiger King? A wave of pressure surged over her. Luo Zheng saw Lan Xue's concern and couldn't help but step forward, patting Lan Xue on the shoulder, and said seriously, "Don't worry, if we're wrong, we'll just start over. Arctic Bear Country definitely won't pursue us to the east. If those people went west, they are bound to encounter Arctic Bear Country's army. We can just call back to base to ask, and we will know. If there is a battle, our country's satellites will also monitor it, so we can always turn back."

"Alright, it's settled then," Lan Xue felt that Luo Zheng's analysis was very sound, and at worst, they would just have to take a longer route. If those people really went east and they chased west, not only might they run into Arctic Bear Country's army, but they might also miss the opportunity. Going east allows for the chance to turn back, but going west does not, making it a simple choice.

"Good, let's cross the river first," Luo Zheng said firmly.

Everyone jumped into the river, swam to the other side, and upon reaching the shore, they followed the river eastward. Before long, they spotted footprints on the ground. Luo Zheng squatted down for a closer look, then glanced at the surrounding forest and the shrubbery on the riverbank and couldn't help but smile, saying, "Looks like we're on the right track. Those people drifted down the river and landed here; they couldn't have gone too far. Everyone, be careful and keep chasing."

"Yes!" Everyone's spirits were lifted at being on the right track, and they hastily followed suit. Unbeknownst to them, the sky began to dim, and after roughly an hour of running, the night fell. They hadn't seen any sign of their targets, but the traces on the ground were real. Everyone put on their Night Vision Devices and continued on their way.

About half an hour later, the tracks suddenly turned south, and the team changed direction, pursuing their quarry to the south. They reached a ridge where Mountain Eagle, taking point, suddenly sent a ssage through the earpiece that he had spotted sothing ahead. Everyone beca even more cautious, stealthily moving forward, and sure enough, they saw so people in the woods on the ridge ahead, who had started a campfire.

"Hold positions, scout and cover, I'll go take a look," Luo Zheng signaled, bending low and creeping forward. He moved with extre care, not even daring to glance at the position of the people for fear that a negligent show of his own killing intent might alarm them. After taking down two Alpha Special Forces squads and a helicopter, the combat strength of these people could only be described as terrifying—there was no room for the slightest oversight.

In the darkness, Luo Zheng, like a ghost, slowly crept closer. When he got close enough, he raised his binoculars to observe and saw there were five of them, two injured, with one acting as a sentry in the bushes not more than three hundred ters away from him. Luo Zheng slowly put away his binoculars and smiled coldly, his killing intent contained as he slowly retreated.
