At noon, Luo Zheng and his comrades unknowingly reached the summit of a mountain peak. The howling cold wind made it almost impossible for everyone to stand steady. They supported each other and looked into the distance; ahead were endless snow mountains, a vast expanse of whiteness, with no signs of any living creature. Everyone was tired and hungry, their provisions already consud. Fortunately, they had taken down two ard transport helicopters and seized a good supply of compressed biscuits and water from the enemy, otherwise they would have starved.

Luo Zheng raised his binoculars; all he saw was a blanket of white stretching indefinitely. The cold wind made it exceedingly uncomfortable. Continuing like this, their bodies wouldn't be able to hold up. Nearby, Lan Xue shouted loudly, "The mountain range beneath our feet marks the border, right? Ahead lies the Tri-junction Area; the enemy might be waiting for us at the foot of the mountain. Which way should we go?"

To the southwest was the Tri-junction Area, to the west was the border, and to the northwest lay the territory of the Arctic Bear Country. The best option was to head toward the Tri-junction Area in the southwest, but the Arctic Bear could definitely predict this and would have heavily fortified it in anticipation. Lan Xue's reminder made a lot of sense, and Luo Zheng was aware of this too. After thinking it over, he said, "Our journey has been toward the southwest; the terrain there is mountainous with less snow, and the Arctic Bear probably thinks the sa. Let's head due west instead."

"Head due west?" Everyone's faces changed dramatically. Going due west was beyond everyone's imagination. The Arctic Bear wouldn't expect it, which could serve to draw their forces out and avoid walking into an ambush. But the problem was that due west was fully covered with towering snow mountains, utterly impassable for humans. Wasn't this a death wish?

Everyone looked at Luo Zheng with suspicion. Even Lan Xue stared at him in amazent, unable to understand why he had made such a choice. Heading southwest gave them a glimr of hope; heading west, they would die from nature's own harshness, even without pursuit. Luo Zheng knew this well, but having clashed with the Snow Bear, he knew their prowess in snow warfare. With them being monitored by satellites, moving southwest would be tantamount to suicide. His face filled with grim contemplation.

"Do you have reservations?" Lan Xue asked.

"Worried about the Snow Bear Special Forces?" Ghost Hand also asked, surprised.

During the International Special Forces Competition, they had clashed with the Snow Bear. Although it was a five-man ambush, they had defeated their opponents without giving them a chance to fight back. In their hearts, they weren't really afraid of the Snow Bear. Only Luo Zheng knew the true combat capabilities of the Snow Bear. Seeing everyone looking at him, he gave a wry smile and explained, "Yes, the Snow Bear excels in snow mountain combat, which is our weakness."

Upon hearing this, everyone began to ponder deeply. Luo Zheng continued, "If it were the jungle or the mountains, one-on-one, we would have a fifty percent chance of winning. In the snow mountains, we hardly have even a ten percent chance. It's too risky."

"Really?" As everyone saw Luo Zheng so highly regarding the Snow Bear, their expressions grew solemn. They had never seen Luo Zheng so wary of anyone before. Frowning deeply, they weighed the pros and cons. If they truly had less than a ten percent chance, heading south would an certain death, a slim chance of survival if they went west. Between certain death and a slight chance for life, although just a faint hope, it still represented a way out. The choice wasn't hard to make.

Trusting Luo Zheng and seeing his resolute expression, no one objected to continuing west. The team imdiately changed direction and headed due west. This decision was soon noticed by many.

When Wu Jin heard this news, he was sowhat baffled. Why head due west, a true no man's land of mountains and snowfields, where no one could survive crossing? The reinforcents he had sent to the Tri-junction Area would now be wasted. He ordered his information personnel to send the surveillance footage for a thorough analysis.

Soon, Wu Jin noticed that Luo Zheng and his group had made the decision atop a snow mountain peak after pausing for a few minutes, likely following a collective discussion. He imdiately called Mr. Li, who, after a mont of silence, said with understanding, "These kids are quite ticulous, maintaining their calm at such a ti."

"Sir, what have you thought of?" Wu Jin asked, astonished.

"They are afraid," Mr. Li said with a laugh, yet he seed very pleased.

This made Wu Jin even more perplexed and he asked, "From what I know, they are very bold and never scared. Besides, heading to the Triangle Zone would allow them to et up with our reinforcents. What is there to fear? Are you talking about the Snow Bear?"

"Yes, the Ghost has clashed with the Snow Bear, knows their prowess, and he's worried that continuing southwest will lead them into an ambush. In fact, the Snow Bear would definitely be waiting in ambush ahead, and you just haven't detected it. Don't believe ? Just have soone monitor the area. Once the Ghost changes course, the ambushed troops will be compelled to reveal themselves," Mr. Li explained with a chuckle.

"Let's not talk about the ambush for now. If they head west, that's a terribly harsh area; they could be in great trouble," Wu Jin said with a worried expression, furrowing his brow.

"And what about it? Can you change their decision? Let them go. Since they have chosen this, there must be a reason. We shall wait and see," Mr. Li stated.

Wu Jin ended the call and hurried to the information command center, where he saw a giant electronic screen displaying a snow mountain canyon. The canyon was eerily quiet, with only the wind swirling the snowflakes in the air. Suddenly, the ground started moving, and nurous people appeared.

"What is this?" Wu Jin exclaid, quickly asking.

The information personnel also noticed this strange occurrence and rapidly typed on the keyboard to zoom in on the image, saying in surprise, "Commander, it seems to be the Arctic Bear's forces."

"Nearly a hundred people, why didn't you discover this earlier?" Wu Jin shouted in astonishnt, suddenly recalling Mr. Li's warning. Indeed, his side had failed to detect the ambushed troops. Such skillful camouflage—how did these people ambush in this canyon? When did they ambush?

Unfortunately, no one could answer Wu Jin's various questions. Soon after, Wu Jin noticed about a dozen of them chasing in Luo Zheng's direction while the rest began to retreat. Startled, he suddenly realized it was fortunate that Luo Zheng hadn't headed southwest, or they would have walked right into an encirclent of nearly a hundred people and wouldn't have escaped.

"Things are getting interesting," Wu Jin observed as he watched the dozen pursuers move quickly, dressed in white camouflage that blended exceptionally well with the snowy terrain. The marching speed was very fast, likely mbers of the Snow Bear Special Forces. Ten against five—uncertain whose prey they would beco.

A major ran over and saluted before asking, "Commander, should we call back the reinforcents, or should they also rush to provide support?"

"Call them back," Wu Jin replied with a relaxed expression. Seeing the major's confusion, he explained, "The Special Forces can't keep up with their speed. Forget it, I'll just set up my office here for the next few days. The upcoming battle will be intense—a spectacle not to be missed. Let Snow Fox, who is familiar with Snow Bear, co over and help strategize."
