Everyone heard the warning, their expressions turned stern as they quickly rushed up and lay down on the slope. Peeking out, they saw countless people erging from the ground on the open sand ahead, like devils released from hell, howling monstrously as they charged toward their position.

"Exposed?" Luo Zheng was shocked, looking at the others with disbelief on his face.

"It must be the satellite, we overlooked this." Lan Xue said in a hurry, her expression cold, as she gripped her gun firmly, chambered a round, aid, and continued, "Behind us is the desert, with open visibility, not suitable for hiding. We can't retreat, we have to fight."

"There are too many enemies, we might not even be able to fight our way out," Luo Zheng coldly observed the ard personnel erging from beneath the ground, his eyes dancing with intense killing intent. Gritting his teeth, he said, "Change of combat plan, Ghost Hand, Snow Leopard, and I will try to break through to down into the tunnels and use the Button Bombs. Xue Er, Mountain Eagle, you two are in charge of providing fire support. Take out all the Button Bombs for us to use."

"Yes." Hearing Luo Zheng's daring plan, everyone, although aware it wasn't the ti for debate, and trusting in Luo Zheng, executed the orders without hesitation. Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle passed their bags to Luo Zheng and opened fire. Since they were already exposed, they had no choice but to go all out.

Luo Zheng crouched on the ground, opening the bags from Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle, taking out the Button Bombs, and distributed so to Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard, his face turning grave as he said seriously, "The situation is dangerous, we can't consider too much, we can only take our chances. Retreat definitely won't work, the enemy might be too many, and they could receive reinforcents. Holding position for a counterattack won't work either. We'll circle around, storm into the enemy's midst to create a huge disturbance. Once we're down there, act separately. Ten minutes is the limit; retreat imdiately after ten minutes. As soon as we co out, everyone must scatter and break out."

"Yes." Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard responded coldly with a chuckle, their desire to fight soaring to the heavens. With no way to avoid conflict, they were ready for battle. At this mont, everyone's fighting spirit surged like a rainbow.

"How will we regroup after coming out, and where will we retreat to?" Lan Xue hastily asked.

"There's a cactus growing area on the way we ca. Does everyone rember it? We'll et there. Don't scatter, and be careful." Luo Zheng's icy gaze swept over everyone, he left the sniper rifle with Lan Xue, drew his pistol, put the allotted Button Bombs in his pocket, and with his military pack on his back, he charged forward.

"Kill!" Seeing everyone charging out, Lan Xue's face turned frosty as she roared.

"Kill!" Mountain Eagle also roared furiously, his face steely with desperation.

Plans can't keep up with changes. Faced with a large number of enemies swarming at them, the two of them were very clear about their responsibility, which was to keep drawing the enemy's attention with their fire, to cover for Luo Zheng and the rest. With their marksmanship, they naturally hit their targets with every shot. However, the enemies were too nurous to kill them all, and gradually, as the enemy drew closer, the two felt the pressure but kept on firing. Fortunately, the ard n who had erged didn't pose a threat with their diocre gun skills.

Luo Zheng and his team hurried down the slope, circled to the side, and saw a large number of militants launching a fierce attack on Lan Xue and the others. There was no cover along the way, as they were continuously shot down. But even more surged forward, the situation for Lan Xue and others was looking dire. With a look of urgency, Luo Zheng shouted, "Brothers, as long as we start the fight down there, the enemies above may pull back, and the captain will be safe."

"Kill!" Without needing to be told, Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard roared and charged forward, sprinting with Luo Zheng following close behind. After running over a hundred ters, the militants noticed the three and so turned their guns towards them, with fierce bullets sweeping their way, prompting the three to bend their waists and pick up their speed.

At a distance of over five hundred ters, the ard militants' strafing lacked accuracy and posed little threat. The trio surged forward unscathed for about two hundred ters when more enemies reacted and turned their guns toward them. Now within a re two to three hundred ters, Luo Zheng knew too well the danger of intense gunfire and was greatly alard. Suddenly, he spotted a hole in the ground ahead and, overjoyed, he leaped down without hesitation.

Ghost Hand and Snow Leopard followed suit, jumping down after him. The hole was not deep, roughly two ters, and once they landed, they looked around to find passages on both sides. One side led to a natural opening about four or five ters ahead, which led directly downwards. Light shone through the opening, and voices could be faintly heard below.

Filled with curiosity, Luo Zheng rushed over and discovered another underground cavern below. He rembered the warnings of the middle-aged man he had rescued and quickly said in a low voice, "This is an underground bunker made of natural and man-made caves, probably like a maze; who knows how many levels there are. Let's not worry about the number of levels, just detonate. Everyone, get moving."

"Yes, sir," everyone quickly dispersed and sprang into action.

Luo Zheng, anxious about Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle who were still under attack by the ard militants outside, imdiately pulled out a button bomb, tore open the adjacent wall, and charged forward. A few seconds later, a thunderous explosion erupted behind him; Luo Zheng didn't look back and continued setting bombs.

Button bombs were extrely convenient, stick-and-go, and had imnse power. Blowing up the loosely packed soil of the cavern was almost effortless. As a result, a massive amount of dirt collapsed and fell through the cave, sending clouds of dust flying.

Luo Zheng, Ghost Hand, and Snow Leopard split up to carry out their tasks, constantly blasting through the caves while running toward an unknown direction. Whenever they heard voices ahead, they dodged into other passages. The cave system was a labyrinth, with interconnected channels in every direction, including many vertical connections, more like a honeycomb. In such complex terrain, with the group splitting up, the enemy was thrown into disarray, completely clueless about how many intruders there were or where they were hiding.

Outside, the fiercely attacking militants were shocked at the sound of explosions, and they promptly ceased their assault. Looking back, they saw the ground starting to sink severely. With each explosion, a new crater ford, and what was most alarming was the continuous nature of the blasts, expanding at a rapid pace.

All the militants were thrown into chaos, their eyes turning to their commanders. The underground was their stronghold, and while they were familiar with its layout and not afraid of explosions, they feared being buried under collapsing earth—if the relentless bombing continued, and with the copious amount of dirt tumbling down, wouldn't their lair turn into a grave?

Several of the militants' leaders picked up their radios to shout commands; their expressions were quite grim. Perhaps upon receiving orders, they decisively signaled to their troops to retreat. The retreat was rapid and determined, a stark contrast to their vigorous arrival.

On the slope, Lan Xue and Mountain Eagle saw the militants retreating en masse but felt no joy, their expressions as grave as iron. Lan Xue silently wished well: you must survive.

"Captain, should I go help?" Mountain Eagle asked coldly as he watched the enemy withdraw.

"You are injured; you can't go. Stay here," Lan Xue instructed. "I'm going to take a high ground position over there to cover their retreat. Be careful." Without waiting for a response, Lan Xue hurried off, her gaze firm and piercing.
