"Pff!" The knife ca too quickly, too suddenly. Shijing was still in the midst of his attack, his move fully extended, leaving no ti to dodge. He was stabbed in the waist by Tiger Girl, who then twisted the handle of the knife and sliced downward, greatly enlarging the wound. Shijing stumbled back several steps to stabilize himself, then looked calmly at Tiger Girl.
Shijing's waist was slashed open by the sharp Japanese blade, his insides imdiately spilling out. His complexion changed drastically as he hurriedly tried to hold them in, forgetting the great enemy before him. In panic, he pushed his intestines back in and attempted to wield his sword for another fight, only to find he could no longer stand steadily or muster any strength.
"That was a decent cut," Tiger King said contentedly from the side, "Go on, kill the other three too."
"You got it." Thrilled by Tiger King's praise, Tiger Girl charged forward with a war cry, shouting, "All three of you, co at together!" With an imposing presence much like Tiger King's, it was clear that a master would train a disciple in his own image, as a godfather would shape his goddaughter.
Luo Zheng watched in shock as Tiger Girl cut through her enemies. Even against the attack of three, she showed no hint of panic and always maintained the upper hand. Once Tiger Girl adjusted to the rhythm of their attacks, victory was without question. Luo Zheng thought he had overestimated Tiger Girl, but he hadn't estimated enough. Every robed figure here was formidable, yet they were completely overpowered by a young girl.
However, Luo Zheng quickly shook off his discouragent. The swordsmanship Tiger Girl used was perfectly suited to counter the robed figures. Moreover, Luo Zheng had learned along the way that she had been studying swordsmanship under Tiger King since the age of three, for over ten years. How could soone taught by a grandmaster of swordsmanship like Tiger King be weak? Plus, having grown up in a brutal environnt seeing frequent killing, Tiger Girl had accumulated a lot of secret practice and had stealthily killed many robed figures under Tiger King's guidance, gaining a wealth of combat experience.
As Luo Zheng approached the chief leader, he couldn't help but glance at Shijing, who lay on the ground screaming, then motionless with eyes wide open, dead with eyes unseeing. Luo Zheng then turned to Tiger King and said, "Do you want to do it, or should I?"
"Give him a quick end," Tiger King responded indifferently, suddenly losing interest in the chief leader. With a touch of weariness, he said, after Shijing's death had avenged him, "Everyone, hurry up. The enemy is coming."
Luo Zheng looked at the chief leader and saw that he too had so ttle, showing no sign of panic. Perhaps accustod to life and death, he knew this day would co sooner or later. Luo Zheng delivered the strike and a streak of dark light flashed by, leaving a line of blood on the chief leader's neck. Suddenly, the bloodline burst, spewing out a lot of fresh blood.
The chief leader clutched his throat tightly and fell to the ground with a thud. Luo Zheng gave him no further glance, feeling no guilt for killing a mber of a terrorist organization. He looked up to see Tiger Girl had already slain two people, and although the last one dodged twice, she too was cut down by Tiger Girl.
"Take all of these with us," Luo Zheng said quietly to Snow Leopard and Ghost Hand.
The two nodded in understanding, picked up the Japanese swords from the ground, and headed toward the gate. As the sound of dense gunfire and shouting from a crowd reached them, Luo Zheng quickly shouted, "Xue Er, get inside, use the back door!"
There were too many people ahead. Despite Tiger King and Tiger Girl being able to defeat several robed figures with just their knives, they would be no match for stray bullets. Luo Zheng didn't want to risk it and imdiately issued the order. As Lan Xue turned back from the front gate, everyone quickly sprinted to the back, withdrawing from the estate with ease and hopping onto the rooftops of the surrounding houses.
"This way," Luo Zheng called out after checking the direction.
Everyone followed behind Luo Zheng, sprinting eastward, as the ard militants sward into the manor. Upon seeing the corpses lying on the ground and their leader killed, they panicked, not knowing what to do, and no one ntioned pursuing them.
Luo Zheng and the others made a safe getaway, finding a pickup truck at the exit. Ghost Hand rushed over, pulled out two wires from under the steering wheel, and started the ignition. Everyone quickly got in, and with Ghost Hand at the wheel, the truck skidded off towards the exit. Luo Zheng, in the truck's bed, didn't notice any pursuers and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Don't worry," Tiger King said, addressing Luo Zheng's concerns, with a relaxed expression. "Once the leader is dead, the others will be too busy fighting for power. They won't co after us." Having escaped the predicant and avenged themselves, they were now about to head ho, which imnsely lifted Tiger King's spirits, leaving him thrilled.
"Huh?" Luo Zheng carefully considered this. Tiger King's words did make sense. A bunch of terrorists, after all, only banded together for profit. With their leader dead, who wouldn't want to be the successor? Where would they find the ti to chase after them? He laughed and said, "You're right, Tiger King. I'm overthinking it."
"No, being cautious is right; you just don't know those sons of bitches well enough," Tiger King chuckled. He glanced at the endless desert ahead and said, "What's next?"
"Find a place to rest, prepare so dry food, then head to the country's capital, find the Embassy, and let them arrange a plane for us to go ho," Luo Zheng replied, gazing at the night sky ahead, feeling elated. Despite the mission's narrow escapes and hardships, it was finally a complete success.
Lan Xue also felt very good. After this mission, their squad could advance from an ordinary team to an elite team. This ant a significant improvent in treatnt and authority, and of course, future missions would beco more challenging. However, as a soldier, who would fear challenging tasks?
The group chatted and laughed on their way when suddenly, after an hour had passed, Ghost Hand slamd on the brakes, startling everyone. All quickly jumped out and took cover, vigilantly watching their surroundings, but no enemies were to be seen. Luo Zheng asked through the headset, "Ghost Hand, what's going on?"
"I found a dead body ahead," Ghost Hand called out awkwardly.
"A dead body? You've seen enough of those, right? Just drive around it. You trying to scare us to death?" Snow Leopard said irritably as he got up and moved forward. Indeed, in front of the car was a corpse that looked familiar. He squatted down in the headlights, and said in shock through the headset, "It's Feng Fu, dead for over four days, shot between the eyes. Practically mummified, hardly recognizable."
"Who is Feng Fu?" Tiger King asked, surprised.
"A double agent who has hard us before," Lan Xue added.
"Since it's an enemy, who cares? Let's go," Tiger King shouted, eager to return.
Hearing this made sense to everyone, and they all jumped back into the vehicle. Having no sympathy for a spy who had once hard them, even though she was a woman and had died tragically, there's no sympathy on the battlefield, especially for one who brought it upon herself. They continued their journey, and under the moonlight, the pickup truck carrying the laughing group drifted further and further away.
