"Does it matter how you found out?" Luo Zheng sneered, looking at the other's stunned expression, feeling delighted. Being pushed around by Charlie was exhausting, but at least getting a breath of relief. Too bad there's still no news about Mrs. Liu; if nothing happens to her, I'd consider it a minor victory against Charlie. Luo Zheng continued to stare at Eck and said, "We are all smart people here, no need to beat around the bush. I'm not a patient person; I like to ask questions only once. I'm asking you, where is Mrs. Liu being held?"
"Mrs. Liu? Never heard of her," Eck shook his head without hesitation.
"I knew that would be your answer, but it's okay, keep being uncooperative," Luo Zheng sneered.
Eck was taken aback, with an inexplicable sense of panic, and said, "I'm a foreign guest, legally entering your country for tourism. Even if I'm driving to pick soone up, so what? Sentencing? Detention? Go ahead; I absolutely won't resist. But I have the right to see my lawyer, and also, I demand to see my country's ambassador."
"Sure, feel free to ask, but it doesn't concern . If I find out you have no value, the only outco for you is death," Luo Zheng sneered, "Second question, where is Charlie?"
"I don't know who Charlie is. I demand to see the ambassador," Eck beca nervous, faintly feeling Luo Zheng was different from other police or national security agents, acting completely out of the norm, a person who is decisive and ruthless.
"The last question, I hope you have considered it carefully before answering, where are your other associates?" Luo Zheng spoke coldly, his eyes becoming sharp, exuding a chill of murderous intent.
"I don't know what you are talking about. I'm an international friend, and I demand to see the ambassador," Eck continued.
"Look, this interrogation is so simple. You haven't correctly answered any of my questions, giving up on your hope for life. Straightforward, neat, I like people like you, it saves so much trouble. Since you don't want to answer any of the three questions, then you have no value in existing." Luo Zheng sneered, stood up, and pulled out the Tiger Teeth military dagger from his personal collection.
"What do you want to do?" Eck shouted nervously, struggling hard, a look of panic on his face.
"Stop acting, you know better than anyone what your identity is. I treat you like a smart person, and you treat like a fool, which is not fun. You've forfeited, so go to hell." Luo Zheng swiftly waved his hand, placing the Tiger Teeth on the other's carotid artery, the icy blade exuding a sense of death.
"Wait, you can't kill ," Eck hurriedly shouted.
"Oh? Give a reason," Luo Zheng sneered.
"I admit, I am a special agent from Sam Country. According to international conventions, after admitting my identity, I need to be treated as a prisoner of war. You can interrogate , but I may not necessarily talk, but you can't kill . My country will exchange a special agent you need for ," Eck hastily said, looking tense.
"Really?" Luo Zheng heard this convention for the first ti, looked at Shi Feng, and Shi Feng nodded discreetly. Luo Zheng glanced at Niu Gang, and Niu Gang nodded discreetly as well. Luo Zheng pondered for a mont and then continued, "Who can prove your identity? I don't know. I only know that you fired upon the police and attempted to commit suicide during capture. Now, should I cut your neck, or sever your wrist and hang you to slowly bleed out? Personally, I lean towards the latter."
"You devil, bastard, you can't do this," Eck was genuinely nervous this ti. Even revealing his identity couldn't guarantee his safety. How could this guy ignore the tacit rules?
Every field has its rules. Countries send agents to each other; they are responsible for their countries, not considered criminals or terrorists. When captured, they're generally not killed but used for exchange, as anyone could be caught. This unwritten thod assures the agents' lives, and no one easily breaks it.
"Given your admission of identity, I'll give you one last chance to answer my three questions, or else, there's only one outco for you," Luo Zheng sneered, showing no retreat, the Tiger Teeth dagger poised at Eck's wrist, ready to cut, his entire being radiating a chilling killing intent, decisiveness typical of soldiers, without much concern for protocol.
Eck felt the murderous aura emanating from Luo Zheng. If he disagreed, he would certainly die today. Death wasn't scary, but dying from bloodletting would be torturous. Eck gritted his teeth in despair and said, "Do it quickly then! Charlie won't spare you."
"See, you know Charlie yet won't admit it. That makes very angry. With your constitution, you should be fine bleeding for half an hour. If you're still alive after that, I'll grant you a swift death. People say the process of waiting for death is tornting and driving one insane; I wonder if that's true. Show ," Luo Zheng said coldly, preparing to act.
"Wait, hold on," Eck hurriedly said, looking for help towards Shi Feng and Niu Gang, shouting in panic, "One of you is a Serious Cris Squad Leader, the other a Guard Captain, hurry and persuade this madman."
Shi Feng and Niu Gang exchanged a look, choosing to turn a blind eye, turning their backs. Who dares to persuade Luo Zheng? Niu Gang snorted coldly, "Who are you? I don't know you. If you want to live, co clean. You look young, there's a great life waiting to be enjoyed; think of your family, your loved ones."
"Huh?" Eck looked at Luo Zheng in panic. Luo Zheng, impatient, was about to act. Thinking of the torturous process of bleeding out, Eck felt a chill in his scalp, panicked and quickly said, "Please, just kill fast. I can't talk, speaking would an death anyway."
"Then just die," Luo Zheng coldly said, applying force, about to act, when suddenly the phone rang. Luo Zheng hesitated, took it out, and saw no number displayed. He imdiately spoke into the earpiece, "Track my phone imdiately and find the source."
Lan Xing quickly acknowledged, and Luo Zheng waited a few seconds before answering the call, placing it to his ear. An electronic voice ca through, "I have your person, and you have mine. Shall we trade?"
"Cowardly. I don't like trading with soone disguising their voice. If you're sincere, call with a number. If I don't receive a call within three seconds, your person will die," Luo Zheng said coldly.
"Then your person will die too," the other party replied bluntly.
"That's your problem," Luo Zheng sneered and directly hung up the phone. Negotiation is about montum and initiative. With them calling, the initiative is in one's hands, and it would be a pity not to use it.
After hanging up, Luo Zheng was suspicious. Who could the caller be? Could it be Charlie? Just as he was pondering, the phone rang again, still with no number displayed. Luo Zheng answered, ready to curse, when a non-synthesized voice said, "You've got so skills. I underestimated you."
