As a disciplined force, firing without orders is not allowed. On a stormy night with extrely low visibility, the enemy could appear at any ti. Waiting for a command to open fire could either get us killed or give the enemy enough ti to escape, greatly limiting the team's combat effectiveness. Luo Zheng's order undoubtedly freed everyone from these worries, enabling them to fire as needed. This made combat tactics more flexible and naturally improved combat effectiveness many tis over.

The torrential rain poured down relentlessly, as if trying to wash away all sins. Luo Zheng lay still on the ground, his cold gaze fixed ahead, allowing the rain to soak his body, the mud from the hilltop covering him entirely. He held the pistol in his hands, which were stretched out in front of him, ready to fire at any mont.

"Bang bang bang!" Gunfire sounded again nearby, clearly audible amidst the storm. Luo Zheng didn't turn back, nor did he say anything. He just kept his cold gaze fixed forward.

The hilltop was eerily quiet. The entire guard company was hidden in their positions, each focused on their direction. Upon spotting the enemy, they would decisively open fire, then switch to another position and continue monitoring. There was no shouting, no running, just silent lurking and elimination, like a highly efficient combat machine.

A solemn killing intent perated the hilltop, as if it could shield the rain. Luo Zheng lay motionless on the ground, listening intently. Suddenly, the faintest hint of footsteps reached his ears. His entire body tensed, his grip on the gun tightening. His cold eyes narrowed slightly, restraining the endless killing intent within, like a leopard poised to unleash a thunderous strike on the enemy at any mont.

Suddenly, a figure flashed through the rain, diving to the ground silently. Luo Zheng's expression tightened, recognizing it as a skilled foe. He remained still, continuing to lie in concealnt. Two of the warriors nearby also sensed sothing was amiss but cald themselves, seeing Luo Zheng remain unmoving.

Before long, the figure ahead suddenly rose from the ground, ready to infiltrate further. The two warriors saw it clearly and, without waiting for Luo Zheng's signal, quickly pulled their triggers at the figure. Two guns, two streams of fire, carried the warriors' panic and rage, howling toward the target amidst the sound of rain, as if Death God was cackling.

Luo Zheng didn't fire but calmly observed the figure. He saw the figure mysteriously pounce forward, avoiding both streams of fire, rolling down the hill before curling into a ball and rolling further, then suddenly springing up and sprinting sideways. Luo Zheng observed carefully, restraining the impulse to fire, continuing to watch patiently without moving.

Seeing no more sign of the target, the two soldiers ceased fire and prepared to relocate. Seeing Luo Zheng remain still, they too stayed put. One soldier was about to ask sothing out of curiosity when suddenly, Luo Zheng moved. He sprang up from the ground like a leopard, lunging forward a few steps. The gun in his hand roared, the bullets shrieking toward the hillside, as if furious lions were pouncing on their prey.

On the ground, a figure sprang up and staggered, frantically sprinting downhill. The two soldiers managed to react, furiously firing at the figure. The opponent's speed noticeably slowed, unable to make effective evasive maneuvers, and the dense bullets quickly brought the figure down. The two soldiers excitedly dashed out of their cover, firing non-stop as they charged.

Luo Zheng neither organized nor observed, his calm gaze sweeping the surroundings, like a Ghost in the stormy night. The dark muzzle of his gun was like the cold, unyielding token of Death God. The two soldiers rushed forward, riddling the target with bullets, before one of them picked up a gun. The two quickly retreated, resuming their concealnt beside Luo Zheng, their faces full of admiration as they looked at him.

One soldier handed the retrieved weapon to Luo Zheng. He took a look and saw that it was a sniper rifle equipped with a Night Vision Device, causing him to be greatly surprised. Fortunately, the enemy had only mounted a feint attack and couldn't see everyone's hiding spots. Engrossed in concealing their tracks, if they had stopped to search for targets and pick them off one by one, it would have been trouble.

Suddenly, another thought flashed through Luo Zheng's mind. Could this guy have co specifically to find him? Otherwise, as a Sniper, it wouldn't make sense to make such a basic error and rashly engage in close-quarters combat. At this thought, anger welled up within Luo Zheng as he quickly inspected the sniper rifle. It was an excellent SUV sniper rifle with a long range. Unfortunately, in this stormy night, visibility was poor; otherwise, if it were dayti, Luo Zheng would fear no enemy, even if there were more.

The sniper rifle's Night Vision Device allowed visibility within a range of two hundred ters, which, in such poor visibility during the fierce stormy night, was many tis better than the naked eye. Luo Zheng swiftly attached the sniper scope to his eye, finding that he could see about thirty ters ahead. Filled with joy, he quickly began scanning the area.

Soon, Luo Zheng spotted two targets lying prone on the ground, crawling up the slope. The two were about two ters apart, and though only their general outlines were visible, it was enough. Luo Zheng's expression turned cold. Without hesitation, he pulled the trigger, and two sniper bullets almost simultaneously exited the barrel, each carrying his boundless fury and hitting two different targets.

After taking down these two enemies, Luo Zheng quickly searched other areas for targets but found none. He promptly ran to the other side of the hill, concealed himself, and continued searching for targets. As expected, he found three more, just twenty ters away. Luo Zheng quickly fired, three bullets ending the wicked lives of the three enemies.

With this sniper rifle, Luo Zheng's combat strength soared. After clearing the area and finding no more enemies, he quickly ran to the other side to continue hunting. On this side, he found no enemies, but unwilling to leave things to chance, he carefully observed a while longer. Satisfied no targets were present, he moved on, firing whenever he found a target. Repeatedly, almost without realizing it, he had eliminated ten enemies.

Minutes ticked by, and the rain gradually subsided. Luo Zheng lay on the ground, overseeing the area from a height. His icy gaze was trained intently on the scene below, constantly scanning for enemy shadows with his sniper rifle, yet he found no more targets.

Sporadic gunfire could still be heard from below the hilltop. Niu Gang, Shi Tao, and others were still battling the enemies. Luo Zheng's previously anxious heart cald. Having hunted ten enemies attempting to sneak up on the hill, Luo Zheng knew the tide had turned against the enemy. However, the poor visibility risked friendly fire, otherwise he could organize a counterattack.

"Boom boom boom!" Suddenly, the sky resounded with a rumble, so loud it left ears ringing.

Luo Zheng looked up astonished to see three blinding white lights piercing the rainy night, illuminating the ground. Three ard helicopters were arriving for support. Luo Zheng was thrilled—reinforcents had finally shown up. But then he thought of Niu Gang, Shi Tao, and the others still locked in combat with the enemy. If the ard helicopters fired indiscriminately, wouldn't their own troops be hit?
