The girls had vanished without a trace, leaving only Miles Linden, Willow Crawford, and Zachary on the scene.
Miles Linden stood coolly and aloof, hands in his pockets, his almond-shaped eyes fell on Willow Crawford’s face, quietly watching.
Willow Crawford avoided his gaze, lifting her foot step by step forward.
They got closer and closer.
Then, they brushed past each other.
Willow Crawford didn’t glance at Miles Linden, treating him like a stranger or air, walking directly past him.
Zachary’s gossipy fire quickly extinguished; he sensed the subtlety between the two, "Miles, what’s going on, why isn’t Willow talking to you, did you guys fight?"

At the hospital.
