Willow Crawford didn’t comnt. Regardless of what he ant that night, she was already done with him and wouldn’t concern herself with his affairs anymore.

Willow turned around and walked away.
At that mont, a bright red sports car roared up and stopped in front of Willow and Hannah. The driver’s window rolled down slowly, revealing a familiar face.
Although Willow had only seen him once, she recognized him imdiately. It was the little tyrant, Ethan Barnes.
Ethan Barnes had arrived.
He was driving the luxury sports car, wearing oversized sunglasses, chewing gum, and he didn’t get out of the car. He propped one hand on the steering wheel, turned his head, and gave a lazy smile, "Hi, Hannah, Miss Crawford, how are you both?"
Hannah stood up straight and obediently called out, "Cousin."
Hannah Alden was the Alden family’s heiress; her family had so connections with the Barnes family. Technically, Hannah should call Ethan "cousin," though not a real one, more a distant one.
Hannah was actually quite scared of Ethan, partly due to the Barnes family’s imnse power, and also because she knew Ethan had been a devil since he was young.
The Barnes family was a top-tier wealthy family. Ethan’s parents married for love, his mother was a gentle and beautiful woman. Despite the disparity in their social status, her softness and talent deeply captured Ethan’s father’s heart, and the first few years of their marriage were sweet and loving, marking Ethan’s happiest childhood ti.
Unfortunately, that ti was too short.
As they say, marrying into a wealthy family is like entering the deep sea; the passionate love eventually gave way to monotony. Ethan’s father started getting involved with other won.
Back then, Ethan’s mother was pregnant with their second child, already eight months along. One day, she took little Ethan to see his father at work, and upon opening the office door, she found his father entangled with his 18-year-old secretary on the sofa...
A few days later, Ethan’s mother died.
She died with a large belly, carrying Ethan’s little sister, killing both mother and daughter.
Ethan’s mother had gone into premature labor, but the maid was not ho. She had still been holding her phone, the last call dialed was to Ethan’s father.
But at that ti, Ethan’s father was on a honeymoon abroad with his new lover, leaving his mother to fall, dying in pain, clutching her phone tightly, blood pooling on the floor.
From that day, Ethan changed.
His mother was gone, and his father was soon bringing his new lover ho. The new lover was eight months pregnant, her belly as large as his mother’s had been before she died.
The night before the wedding, Ethan’s father opened the door to find the room covered in blood; the eight-month-pregnant lover lay in a pool of blood, dead. Young Ethan, just seven or eight years old at the ti, sat elegantly on the sofa, slowly wiping the blood from his hands with a paper towel, then looked up at his father, "Dad, you didn’t get to see mom one last ti before she died, so now I’ve recreated the scene for you to see."
Young Ethan smiled, revealing a set of nacing white teeth.
Since then, Ethan’s father brought in several new lovers, none of whom t good fates; so were sold into red-light districts, so were abused by the filthiest vagrants or beggars, either dying or going mad, each one worse than the last.
Ethan’s father didn’t like his son because he always felt that his son would eventually take his life. However, the patriarch liked this grandson, and so did the uncles in the military and political circles. They adored his penchant for madness and ruthlessness, treating him like a treasure.
In recent years, Ethan had beco increasingly rebellious and out of control until... he suffered a major setback at the hands of Miles Linden, almost losing his life.
With his hands stained with blood, he was a true devil, and Hannah was terrified.
Willow had never interacted with these people before. She understood this was part of her parents’ intention for sending her here—to see different facets of humanity. Even in this little place, there were hidden talents, and Willow knew that Ethan was crazy to his core.
"You all chat slowly, I’ll be leaving now." Willow lifted her foot to leave. Ethan, chewing gum, said casually, "Miss Crawford, don’t go. Since we’ve run into each other, you should at least have a couple of drinks with us, co on, get in the car, I’ll take you to a bar."
Ethan’s appearance was largely inherited from his beautiful mother, making him extraordinarily handso and seemingly harmless.
Willow looked at Ethan, her lips curving faintly, "And what if I say no?"
"Miss Crawford, perhaps I wasn’t clear earlier. I’m not asking for your opinion, I’m informing you. Whether you drink those two drinks at the bar or not, you will drink them. No one has ever dared to refuse my invitation." Ethan said with a smile.
Just as these words were spoken, several burly n in black appeared by the street, clearly Ethan’s n. They whistled frivolously at Willow, aning if you don’t get in the car, we’ll make you.
Willow showed no expression and said lightly, "Fine, I’ll join you for a couple of drinks then."
"Great!" Ethan was satisfied.
Hannah didn’t want to go either, but she dared not oppose him, so she opened the front passenger door, while Willow prepared to take the back seat.
But then Ethan spoke up, "Hannah, you sit in the back, let Miss Crawford sit up here. I want to have a nice chat with her."
Hannah’s hand froze mid-air, feeling very awkward. Ever since Willow showed up, she had always played second fiddle, while all the n’s eyes were on her.
Reluctantly, Hannah moved to the back seat.

In the luxury sports car, Willow sat in the front passenger seat, not saying a word.
Ethan, still chewing his gum, showed no intention of engaging in a conversation with her.
"Cousin, Willow is quite the new belle of our school now, lots of upperclassn like her. What do you think, isn’t she beautiful?" Hannah asked with ulterior motives.
